Boulevard du 20 Aout, Agadir 80000, Morocco, Agadir
Landscaped, free-admission animal park with a large aviary, fountains, small zoo & play areas.
It is under renovation this summer, it was a great experience for me 4 years ago.
Closed temporarily now. I think it soon will open in couple of months, but totally in another look. Great changes are underway.
It was closed for renovation. There wasnt any information about it available so we went for no reason...
Nice and quite place. The entry is free and you can walk through this park to the beach. Big amount of birds and goats. You can see other animals such flamingo, ibis, chicken and pigeons... The guards can get you closer to the cage for better shooting expecting a tip! Dont miss the beautiful view of the cascade in the center of the valley!
Absolutely brilliant ,clean, animals are well looked after and you can feed the mountain goats
Beautiful place to walk and enjoy the beautiful animals they have fun for kids and have also a playground for kids to enjoy
This place is amazing it has so many unique animals doing unique things and the amount of cats are crazy and the parrots meow and their are black kangaroos there definitely a place for family but closes at 6.00 o clock
Nice place to have a walk, but alot of the birds look ill or are that board they plucked themselves
It s a free park for kids a few birds and animals nothing special need more attention
Birds park, practically, in the center of the town (impressive). Unfortunately the park is not very well maintained. However, there are many kind of birds that I have seen fir the first time in my life. With a beautiful waterfall and the singing of hundreds of birds its simply relaxing and makes you feel better. I recommend to visit this place, its very interesting for kids.
Nice attractions and entrance is free. If you sympathise with the guardian, he will make you discover the valley by a safary alike adventure through the valley.
Well presented & cared for small animal park right in the centre of Agadir. Free entrance to all and can be used as a pleasant shortcut to & from the beach.Collection of mostly birds with some small mammals which are well cared for & loved by the keepers. Nice gardens and childrens play area in the park. Please note that this is not a large animal park with a huge collection of animals its just a small pleasant garden park with a small collection of animals & birds to give visitors & the local people & children an insight into birds & small mammals.Plenty of seats to enjoy the surroundings and pushchair & wheelchair accessible from the entrance nearest the beach and via 2x side gates by asking the keepers for assistance to unlock them. Some areas are stepped and not accessible for those in wheelchairs but there are no animals or birds to see in these areas.
We noticed the park passing by and we thought of visiting it since it’s one of Agadir’s sights. The entrance is free and it’s actually a nice place with a waterfall and many interesting animals to see. However many birds are suffering there. The cages seemed pretty clean, maybe it’s due to stress (it was very crowdedor too many in one cage. The other animals seemed fine but many parrots had body patched without feathers, it was really sad. They should do something about it.
If you want some peace and calm you can grab ur children or some freinds and go take a tour in this place a lot of different exotic animals to see. ❤️👍
I loved the birds but it seemed they put too many in a small space. Some were molting, fighting... since it’s free , maybe they could sell the baby birds that are too much to build the park up. Also certain other animals were gone or alone- sad single deer, no more wallabies...But I do love a free beautiful park
Great little sanctuary in the middle of agadir, nice to spend a hour or so, and its free
A nice place to bring young kids, with 2 or 3 playgrounds. Many types of birds, they seems tired though, some were cramped in the cage (a bit too many). There are animals other than birds too (goats and the likes). A small waterfall in the middle of the Valley gives a refreshing feeling in the heat.
Its free, not really spectacular but perfect value for money.
Its free, you can just walk through. Not just birds there also tortoise, antelope, & goats
Really appreciate and nice place for kids, I recommend to visit it , you will be enjoyed best times ,Yes believe me you didnt forget that glory momentsBest wishes for all.
Nice place, free entry
This is a lovely quiet place in the middle of Agadir. I saw more locals here than tourists, there are many different species, not just birds and everything is nicely close together.
Beautiful place. All different species of birds. And its open to the public free of charge. Wonderful for a walk around. Little water fountain that has a bridge. The peacocks were stunning when they opened their feathers. Kids really enjoyed it here looking at the birds and running around free open space.
I dont have a photo of a bird but i have some goat pictures and the Train.
A nice park or a mini zoo with many birds and some cute animals. The entrance is free and you can walk through this park to the beach. It gets very very crowded after 5 p.m., so better avoid it at that time.
A mini zoo in the centre of the city. Free entry with kids playground, a nice walk in the sun.
Free entry. Nice place to relax for locals but nothing special. First world country visitor will find that the place has too less birds too offer compared to zoos from their countries and that the whole facility is dirty and bad maintained. Some of the guards will get you closer to the cage for better photographs, expecting a tip. Not worth going there if you just want to take awesome Instagram pictures.
Nice park to stroll around and relax in the shade on a sunny day
Nice place in teh centre of Agadir, shadoved and conveniant to cooldown during hot days, playground for kids. Could be restored and adapted, at least repainted.
Really a nice place to visit its a park and Zoo and its free. Great for children and a lovely walk for older people.
Its nice but needs a bit of work
Shabby but free for admission. Birds in cages. Goats in cages. All animals look sad. Aaand hungry.
Very very good here. My daughter loved it and it was completely free , lots of animals to feed and pet the staff are very helpful and polite
Relaxing little walk, nice place to spend an hour or two !I was surprised to find this mini zoo in the middle of the town. There areLots of interesting birds to see and I especially enjoyed the flamingoes. There are also a great bunch of mountain goats. Admission is free and the park is definitely worth a visit.
Nice place entrance 🆓 a bit dirt place
As name suggests you can expect birds. And mammals like lamas, goats, gazelles. Its small place, but its free to enter, full of shadow, good place to walk when sun is at its peak.
Positives: -lots of birds from all over the world.- they actually have a lama! And it likes human and you can feed it.-the staff is friendly-the entry is freeThe only big negative is its soo filthy! Yuck
Lovely place to spend some time with the kids. Sadly not really taken care of. It would have been better to charge a small fee and keep it clean and maybe charge for services that can be provided inside rather than a free entrance and a poor maintenance. Otherwise very green place with lot of shadow. Entrance should Al be limited as it can be crowded at times.
very interesting place/park with animals in the heart of the city. worth to see
Small and compact and interesting short cut between the Hotels on the sea front and the high street shops . Free charges on entry!
Beautiful place with few animals to feed and look at. For small tip personnel will help you to have a closer look to animals.
Nice park with different kind of bird and animals. Entrance is free. Nice specially for family with kids. Lama, pigeon, hen, duck ....and many birds
Great place and its free. Interesting collection of animals including kangeru and lama. Great for kids a good little day out.
Nice free venue to walk through and have a nice stroll. You get too parrots and other birds alongside llamas and Billy goats.
The birds and animals do seem contained and it probably wouldnt meet English standards but they do look generally well looked after and it is designed as a ribbon with alternative ways up and down and the waterfall under the main road is impressive.I think I would have preferred it if they had more space or fewer birds with more space for them to circulate but the animals look fit, the wallaby was very reticent but I found by walking on the side road next to the zoo you can get some good photos of it relaxing under the bushes. It is free and there is not a lot of things you can say that about in any holiday country but I would recommend you support it with donations to help develop and improve the site.
Free entrance nice place to see a lot of birds.
Its ok worth a visit but if it was in the UK it would get shut down. Some of the cages have far too many birds in them or the cages are much too small for the birds to fly. I found it cruel.
Entrance FREE. and there are lots of animals.A nice place to visit!!!
Beautiful environment, special birds, free entry
A little run down, but definitely worth the walk through! Two playgrounds for the kids as well
