This place was awesome would definitely recommend it. It was clean and good value for money. Its great that you could bring your own food.

Amazing experience getting to see these amazing birds up close. The close was very interesting and entertaining. I would definitely recommend it, my kids absolutely loved it.

Went on a Sunday with our 2 year old. The show (starts 10.30am and is about an hourwas informative and entertaining! We also had coffee at the restaurant. The staff are lovely. Highly recommended!

Learning about vultures being endangered brought about appreciation for this reserve. Excellent place to visit many unknown species of eagles, owls and vultures. Great hospitality.

Brilliant raptor show by knowledgeable staff. Stunning views from the sanctuary. The birds are either bred in captivity or rescued.Great for educational visits.

An amazing variety of eagles, vultures and owls!! Make sure to get here for the flight show at like 11am or something and then the vulture feeding at 12:30. They do amazing work to help protect the birds if our country and continent!

A true hidden gem. Decided to visit on our way back to Durban from Currypost and I am so glad that we did. Unfortunately we missed the flight demo however seeing all the birds and reading about them... very informative. The place itself has a relaxed and laid back vibe which makes you want to stay and never leave. Very friendly staff as well. Cannot get enough of this place and will visit again soon.

Beautiful birds sanctuary that is well maintained with a large variety of healthy birds. While there dont miss out on the bird flying and vultures feeding which is hosted by knowledge and friendly staff.

As a tour guide I love taking guests to this sanctuary firstly to support this institution and secondly to appreciate these magnificent birds. Its a wonderful place to visit. The shows are extremely informative.

What an incredible place. From the friendly and knowledgeable staff to the gorgeous birds. Such a lovely walk around and even on a warm day there is more than enough shade to accomodate. The displays were wonderful and very informative. If you are in the area I would highly recommend stopping in.

A wonderful experience for young and old! There are interesting facts to read about each species in general, as well as each particular bird and their background. Great variety of cared for birds and well-kept grounds. The restaurant offers simple, tasty and reasonable options.

What a wonderful place to visit. The staff are welcoming and helpful. There’s a variety of birds to see. There are bunnies and Guinea pigs that you can feed on site. You may also see zebras and wildebeest on the property too.

Loved it! Clean cages and well looked after birds. So interesting to see raptors close up for identification purposes. Kids loved the show too!

Our visit to the African Bird of Prey Sanctuary was both Informative and entertaining. If you get the opportunity to visit grab it with both hands. The Sanctuary is located in a beautiful setting and they do invaluable work caring for these amazing animals many of whom could not survive in the wild.

Even though we missed the show it was lovely to wander to the different cages and see these magnificent birds

What a gem of a place! I highly recommend it if you have kids, very educational place. You can walk around and see all their birds of prey: vultures, eagles, owls etc. Phone ahead to check times. They have a basic coffee shop, sell sweets, chips and cooldrinks and some shirts and curios.

Feeling pride that theyre taking a really good cares of all those preys. A guide was aware of my deaf and had a good approached and make sure that Im followed her, her lipreading and everything. Thank you for made my day. Great place and good educated.

Amazing raptor show. Dedicated, well versed personnel. All the birds here have a sad story turned good. Surrounded by the stunning, rolling green hills of Kwa Zulu Natal. A must visit for all bird/ animal lovers. Shannons charisma and sense of humour will not be forgotten

Very basic, but great value for money and very tasty.Jungle gym area for the kids.

Quite a variety of eagles, vultures and owls. Was quite a nice experience to see the live show. The show takes place at 10.30am on Wednesday till Sunday. Its worth while to visit this place. Very nice for kids and the place itself its very beautiful.

Great place! Get up close and see so many unique birds. Also enjoy the wild Zebra and Wildebeest. Dont forget to give Chester and Dixie a loving scratch (Labrador retrievers).

Make sure you see the show. Informative and incredible to see some of these birds flying. Vulture feeding @ 12:30 was also great to see.

Fantastic place where they have excellent display of trained big birds like Eagle, Owl etc. These birds fly & sit as if remote controlled,the site also have endangered vulture preservative centre.

Its a superb rehabilitation location for injured raptors. They certainly know their stuff. Try to go when there is a presentation on. You learn a lot about the birds
