Wow what a fantastic place, if you want to relax this is the place for you.Bob the owner is a great guy and very accommodating.The service is a little slow, but the ambiance makes up for it.The only thing I would like to improve is having more African music throughout the day time.I love the place, its my go to during the weekend for rest.

Good environment but a little old and out of juice. Dont expect crowds and the beach is not an active one. You cant swim there

Another good place to relax by the beach in Takoradi. Food is ok but be aware that there are a lot of insects if you eat by the beach. I cannot finish my food here because of this.

Spent 2hours calling for one waiter and another... the only response is am coming... but never comes, u walk up to order drinks and you are told they are bringing to table only to spend another 45mins.... I couldnt stay more.... very slow and old fashion service.... scenery not bad, overseeing the sea and the waves was exciting though

Really enjoyed the stay here. We had the Sea view rooms, which are really nice. Waking up and looking out the window with that view was breath taking.

Neat beach fronts. Food and drink prices are affordable.Enough space for cars as well as the sea breeze reaches every part of the beach.It is a place to relax, reflect and enjoy your self.The place never get crowded.

It has a nice horticulture and a great view of the ocean as well. The kebabs are great and their food is nice too.

Nice scenery yet they don’t have enough waitresses for holidays

I waited for an hour and half for a beef meal. There was no apology whatsoever from the waiter. I waited another 20 minutes after finishing my meal before going to look for a waiter to get my bill. Terrible service overall.

Sat just close to the ocean while wining and dining with my family. I like the closeness of the sea waves splash on the rocks at the shore, sometimes it sprinkles on us. Wow so lovely.

Its a nice place by the sea to relax and cool down after the days work. But my bad experience was when no one attended to me about 3 hours that I was there and had to leave. I think they should do better with their customer service in order not to loose customers.

Atmosphere good, food tasty, but service very slow. Spraying prevent too many flies will help n the cat should be kept away from eating guests.

Very beautiful and neat location with a nice pool and great sea view.The beach is one of the neatest Ive ever been to so far. It holds no debris whatsoever, clean sand and clear sea water. Truly an amazing place to connect with nature while one clears his/her mind.However, customer service is slow around here. They really need to pay particular attention to that ASAP.

I love this place so much.... the only thing I dont like about this place is that the workers over there are so old and slow.... they should employ more of the smart youths to make our stay there a little spiced up, apart from that I love absolutely everything there😎

I like the scenery and most of all the food. I love their food and they have assorted dishes you can choose from.I really recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat scrumptious dishes while enjoying the magnificent view of the ocean.

Stayed here for one night during a quick business trip to Takoradi.The positives:* Comfortable, beach side option, quiet and well-kept, very clean.* Nice size, clean pool and the water was not too cold* Lots of seating spots, worked well for a open-air small group meeting and could easily follow COVIF-19 requirements.* Friendly and helpful staffThe negatives:* The windows in the cottage do not open, so cannot get fresh air in the room without opening the door. As a result the room was very stuffy. It had clearly not been aired out much before arrival.* Wifi was not working - there was no backup so I had to use my phone data. For rooms at this price, there should be working wifi.* Food was just OK.In general, I feel like this place has potential had could be better and more dynamic, but misses the mark a bit.

Environment was okay... theres no clear cut path to the shore, youd have to walk over some sea defense rocks which isnt safe. But the environment is ok and as usual food orders take forever to arrive

Fine hotel overlooking the beach. You may have to walk along the beach or just wade in the waters a bit. The part of the sea just behind the hotel is quite rocky and not safe for swimming. They compensate for this by providing a swimming pool in the hotel. Their food is lovely. Place is good for pics too.

Calm, serene beach. Loved the pizza. A perfect place for relaxation and great lunch on a weekday afternoon. Look forward to returning.

Nice, fresh and great place to be. I like the breeze and the location. My room was right abating the Atlantic Ocean and I really enjoyed the exotic views. However, they need more active and vibrant staff. Their customer service leaves much to be desired. I believe if they shoukd work on their customer service it will be an excellent place. Let me add that their prices are moderate and... You should try their port

Nothing beats a nice walk on a sandy beach, then sitting under the shade of coconut trees with a lovely view of the sea. The food is good & delicious, the staff are friendly & attentive. The place also has a pool if you find the waves too big. I loved my stay there The taxi drivers know the place well. And theres a souvenir shop outside, and I couldnt help myself from buying a set of African masks.

Need a no frills spot by the beach? This place offers chill vibes, cold drinks and good food. It has been here for ages so dont expect fluffy cushions or bells and whistles. I doubt management will ever invest more. Also they typically only have one waiter on duty, so do be patient.

Excellent view. Fantastic beach, not many swimmers though. I did swim few times and the sea water is very good quality. Beach is protected by reef and fairly sheltered. Be ready for waves washing the beach. Very safe and friendly atmosphere

African beach has a very quiet environment, and its a good place to go in terms of relaxation. Absolutely serene and clean environment . And I loved the service and the food as well.( theres lots of variety to choose from). The resort also has a section demacated for smoking only.The pool however is not so wide and sharply moves from shallow to deep, so one must take care especially if youre with kids and theres little or no supervision. (theres always a life guard around though)Would totally recommend this place and would definitely come back at anytime.

Beautiful hotel with good service for this area. You can enjoy a wonderful morning view when its cool. Towards the evening, the atmosphere becomes "loaded" and almost suffocating, especially when the humidity increases. Few days for tanning and during the midday, ultraviolet with very high values that can do you more harm than good.
