Aegean View Aqua Resort & Spa in Kos

Had the best service and time at this hotel my friend and I went for my 54th birthday and what a beautiful place to be the views from our room are amazing 👏 😍 we were greeted by two beautiful ladies PAGONA AND FIORI also met the other lady ANASTASIA any information we needed they were there to assist from showing us were the local busstop is to go into KOS TOWN as we were having that much fun at the hotel we lost track of time to get the free shuttle bus to town ❤️ and when they knew it was my birthday they put a beautiful cake and bottle of wine and left a msg in our room it was so nice to come back to after a walk around this beautiful hotel with 9 lovely situated swimming pools and the swim up rooms are beautiful 😍 xx all the staff we met are a real CREDIT to this hotel it was 100% CUSTOMER SERVICE we received from each and everyone of them from the waitresses and waiters and their father in the restaurant to the barstaff in the bar area cant remember all their names but you all no who you are DARLINGS lol ❤️ 😀 to NICK who showed us the hotel grounds in a buggy we loved it ❤️ and beautiful lillianna in the snack bar she is amazing and beautiful she MADE EVERYBODY laff with her wit and humour xx the food was amazing good choice and variety x and the dessert 🍨 🥧 🍦 🍡 🍧 🍩 🍨 🥧 🍦 🍡 selection was just mmmmmmmmmmmmmm no lie 😀 ❤️ as you all can tell from this review we had a brilliant time lol 😆 we are already looking to book our next stay here without a doubt the one and only thing was that the shower was broken off the wall attachment which then turned into a hand held shower but honestly it wasnt a problem as I have the same style at home but you could see it was ment to be on the wall and had broken off x nice deep bath if you wanted one and water is hot like 🔥 lol 😆 if you didnt want a cool one x All in all the stay was FANTASTIC BRILLIANT AMAZING and we met some BEAUTIFUL people so thank you AEGEAN VIEW AQUA AND ALL STAFF FOR A BEAUTIFUL STAY AND BRINGING ALL THOSE BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE INTO OUR LIFES SO UNTILL WE MEET AGAIN YOU ALL TAKE CARE AND EFCHARISTO = THANK YOU CORDELIA =DARLING LOL 😆 😀 XXX

Ill try to be fair here, the staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms were ok but could be better, cleanliness 80%, equipment 80%. Location is far from city you have to take a bus or rent a car. Food is ok also i give it 3 out of 5, variety is great and taste is acceptable. Now for the negatives: far from the city, taxis in kos are horrible to get, the room had a broken bathroom handle and most importantly it rained one day and my sister slipped on her head because the floor had ceramic slippery tiles, who on earth would use a slippery sleek tiles outdoors ... specially in an aqua resort!!! And yes be ready to buy extra mobile data packs because the internet sucks and not reachable in rooms. All in all would come again if the price was magnificently stood out like 50% less than the city rooms.

After reading some negative reviews close to our stay,we decided to approach with an open mind.An amazing location,away from the hustle and bustle,hotel provides a free minibus to town,and if you miss the bus back a taxi is €10Despite some of the negative reviews,we found the place clean and well equipped, friendly staff and was always something to eat at all the meals, depending on how picky you are,standard Greek food,if you want al a carte then try Mexico......Aircon was cold and a supply of drinks and snacks from 10am to midnight.Enough sunbeds spread around the 6 or more pools so no rushing out at 4am to grab the best spotThe only thing stopping me giving 5 stars for everything is the attention to detailSome lightbulbs blown in the entertainment seating,a few grates around the pool needed attentionOne of the curtains in our room had become loose.Overall though,a lovely place for a family holiday

+Good hotel for the all inclusive price.Lot of pools, very nice!Rooms cleaned up each days.Always free transat at pools, with sun umbrellas and tables.Very nice guys working here!Free shuttles each day to go to Kos City!-Sometimes no water in the rooms but for short moments thats OK.Menus are almost the same in the buffet.Thats sad that lot of things are closed due to missing employees : gym, spa, bars, other restaurants...You cannot pay with credit cards on the shop, because the machine is broken...

Food is delicious nice service good for a family vacation.

I loved this resort. Its far from the city, but this all inclusive resort has the best views. The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. There are multiple pools to enjoy during the day. Food was delicious with lots to choose from. After dinner there is a few hours of disco music and drinks near the main pool.Service is very friendly and responsive.Best option to go to town is the free shuttle but it fills up quickly, and it operates hourly. So advanced reservation is a must.

Great location with a lot of potential, but severly understaffed.Having said that, the staff are the best and really go miles beyond to give a great experience (to the best of their ability).

Great staff but poor management (or owners?which really shows. Abusive behaviors to staff members are never ok. Do not normalize them. To make money you need to spend money and that seems to be a concept hard to grasp. Do not visit.

Constantly violating greek labor laws and always kept staff unpaid

The park itself is beautiful, but the staff just doesn’t get to it’s full potential.The park:-Many long walks. There are golf karts available, but they are very hard to find.-A lot of really beautiful swimming pools.-A lot of damages that haven’t been fixed in a long time, like cracks in the wall and broken swimming pool drains.-According to the description and the map, there should be 3 places to eat: the restaurant, the Taverna and the rooftop restaurant. However, only the restaurant was open all week, which meant that it was uncomfortably busy.The food/drinks-The restaurant is way to busy.-The food was not warm enough.-The food is the same everyday.-The bar and snackbar staff was very grumpy. There are a few snacks available at daytime, however, due to the few bars and the many guests it was nearly impossible to get my hands on a hotdog, and the only possibilities left was ice cream or a sloppy toast.-Very small drinks. Because of this, people had to keep on going to the bar which only made the queue longer.The rooms:-Very spacious in the room itself and on the balcony.-No WiFi in the room, which really is a shame.-No fresh linnen in 8 days time.-The shower door was leaking, which meant that the bathroom was soaked after having a shower.-A lot of cracks in the wall.On a more positive note:-A big variety of cocktails are available and are made on the spot.-Many (calmpools-The view is amazing. You can see Kos town, the coast and Turkey.Kos Town is just a 10 minute taxi/bus ride away.I would really recommend to rent a car with Safewheels. They pick you up and drop you off at the hotel and the service is very friendly.I really believe that this park has a lot of potential. The staff just doesn’t do enough to make the guests enjoy their stay. Something that stood out for me is that the staff was the same everyday, and that they made long hours. Maybe this is part of the reason that they are so grumpy. If this is the case, than it is an excellent example of bad management.

The restaurant was not prepared on the number of People, result was cold food or some meals we out of order very quickly, the bus for free transfer to the beach was broken for all the period and the promised entertainment was not available...altough all this the work People were very helpfull

Great hotel to spend a summer vacation on. We could still see the struggles of the Corona period, but the personal did their best to welcome us to the fullest! Our compliments to Maria behind the desk and all off the staff!! Five stars!!

Very good hotel!The room was very big and the band was so comfortable that i didnt want to get up!The view from the room was b e a u t i f u l!!!We saw all the way to Turkish and the Aegean see is so beautiful like the beaches in the Maldives!!!There are a lot of pool (next to each apartment group an some main and big pools next to the receptionalso Operates in place of a shuttle array using club cars (for 2,4,6,8 peoplesfor free!!Also there are many bars (not only alcohol drinks, there are some juice there like Fanta, Coca Cola, Sprait and more...around the hotel.The food is very good and tasty and the service person is very nice and helpful!The water park was very nice with a lot of apparatus and its very sefaty and there are some lifeguards.I sure that I will came back to this hotel because its so good!!!!!!!!!

Great aqua park. Food is good value for money. Loads of pools. A free shuttle to town, fun animation team and Eline at the kids club is amazing!

Me and my girlfriend have been here for 7 nights and I can honestly say its the worst hotel Ive ever stayed at. The staff are not helpful in the slightest the customer service does not exist and the attitude you get from staff is unbelievable. We had problems from the moment we got there from not being able to get into our room to having to report our aircon unit leaking 4 times before they would fix it. The food is the same every single night apart from 1 or 2 things which changed. On the last day they tried to kick us out of our room at 12pm even though our transfers were not until 6pm meaning we had nowhere to stay for 6 hours. We had to pay an extra 30 euros to keep our room until 6 and for the entire time we have been here we have not seen or been told about any public facilities. The staff do not communicate anything with you and you are expected to find everything out on your own. I would 100% stay away from this hotel!! Not worth your money or your time.

The reception staff were rude and didnt seam to want to help with anything we had a few issues with our room etc witch got sorted but seamed like a big deal for them to do so but all the other staff members where fine friendly to. The resort is nice itself and has many pools and a small water park, kids club, daily activsties like aqua gym, vollyball etc they also do night shows, discos for the kids, quiz nights etc. There are 3 restrants to eat at in the resort the food is difrent in every one but its repetitive same things served every time you go. The indoor pool is not in use and I never found this so called gym they have at the resort aswell. They do how ever have a spa but... its just a table to do what ever it is they do massage etc and its outside with a fence around it nothing fancy at all.

I had a TOP holiday! very friendly people behind the bar and the food is very tasty. I enjoyed my vacation and will definitely go back there. suitcases are brought to the room by friendly drivers and you will be well helped if you have a problem. thanks Aegeanview! Excellent holiday location with some lovely views to the sea. The staff are ever so helpful and friendly and cannot do enough to help you with any queries you may have. It has 3 different eating places, the main restaurant, the Seafood restaurant and the traditional Greek Taverna, all offer excellent range of food available and again very friendly staff. There are a number of different pools on site, including a small water park and plenty of activities during the day to keep you active. The hotel runs a Fully Inclusive option where all local drinks are free as well as snacks upto 5pm. Night entertainment is ran by the regular crew.

Poor service people with walking difficulties have no chance of getting about due to different levels with no access to lifts or the buggy like we were adviced. Very frustrating and not a 4 star hotel we have stayed in better 3 star hotels. Still in holiday here. Jet2 holidays are getting a mouth full.

Good staff, good facilities and very helpful. All inclusive deal with a buffet, a fish restaurant on a terrace and the kids waterpark were a hit. Shuttle buses to Kos and plenty day activities to choose from My 7 year old and I loved it. The kids club catered to all children. Definitely booking again.

Upon arriving to the resort we were assigned a room. The room wasnt clean and towels were still on the floor from the previous occupant. We were then assigned another room, which again had the same issues. Third time lucky 🍀. The room we chose when booking was the refurbished junior suite. However what we got was not refurbished at all. It seems that Corendon had misled several people as we were not the only who complained about this. The resort is ok-ish, and you get what you pay for in the sense of quality. What this is not, is a 4 star resort. Its all inclusive but not all inclusive at all. Frappe (greek coffeeus an extra charge, as is the cappuccino or latte, as are the more popular cocktails such as a pina colada. 5 euros...... Although advertised that way. Having been coming to Kos for 20+ years I know every road, corner, nook and cranny of the island, and this includes the hotels. I took a chance on the unknown. And unfortunate as it is, it didnt pay off. A shame, as the resort has potential but they are chasing the facts in stead of striving to meet customer expectations. If this is what they have to offer to lure customers back again and make them regulars (something Kos needs vert muchthen it simply is not enough. People choose their destinations based on price nowadays and Kos is at risk of becoming a "getaway" for a week, in contrast to 10 years ago when Kos was the main holiday for 2+ weeks. Greece continues to battle Turkey for customers, but if they want to return to the glory days, they need to up the ante and return to the values that made Kos a fantastic island all those years ago: take time to know people, understand their expectations and show them you value them. Do this, they will come back. Go for the one time spend and those people will ne in Turkey next year in stead of spending their time and money at Aeagean View Resort, or any other resort that takes paying customers seemingly granted.

This is a review of Google Maps, this is NOT about Aegean View..... We visited Kos, had a little nice red car the whole week. We used my phone and Google Maps, which is the best GPS... Normally 😆... We put Maps to guide us down as the road map was not so good for us any longer. We were guided into the lovely Resorts walking paths and ended up getting no longer.... Thanks to Aegeans kind but head shaking employees.... Understandable 😁... We were manually guided out by the help of a golf car. Dear GOOGLE MAPS You REALLY need to delete this review so it wont influent Aegean. And then You have to send the Street View Van and put in some stop points in Your road guidance of cars, so we in that case prevent more cars in some innocent hotel resorts or place where cars should not be. Thank You in Advance. @Google

Top service, good dinner options, good pools and friendly staff. Theres only a few negatives here;- Only 1 keycard per room, which also controls electricity to the room. Rooms also have limited sockets available.- Due to the terrain, some rooms may be a bit far (steep walk-wisefrom the buffets and store. Fortunately almost every area seems to have its own poolside bar for drinks and snacks, and you can have a golfkart ferry you up and down the slopes for free at nearly any time.- Mosquitoes. Many mosquitoes. Its an island wide issue though, so bring (or buy in the resort shopyour repellant.

A view things that arent good here based on my experience:-The little cars are racing over the complex with little kids walking around. The guests are screamimg for more and the drivers are giving it to them. Jackass all over again.-WIFI works almost everywhere but not in our room. (tested it in other rooms and it works fine)-The area where the guests with young kids stay is between de bars and upper rooms on the hill. Drunk people are noisy and the cars are breaking speedrecords at midnight.Its nice but theres room for improvement. If I was here at high season with the corresponding price Ive would go mad.Nice to visit once but thats it for me.(sorry for my english, not native)

Apart from the more out dated room (bathroomthe stay was perfect. They are renovating building by building which means that this is a not a general case.The food, the personnel, the animation, the 11 pools,... was all more than anyone could wish.Even though it isnt located near the coast, there are multiple ways to get there in 10min. The resort has a free shuttle which is well used to get to Kos city.

We had a great vacation in Aegean View, but when we where home we discover that the money in our bag is stolen. Its about more than 80 euros. The bag was always in our room and we locked our door every time. We don’t want to accuse anyone. But we know the person who did this. It was the cleaning lady with the dark brown hear and the slit between her front teeth. I just wan’t to tell this for other people who visit Aegean View.

A wonderful place. The complete staff are friendly and very helpfull. At first we didnot have a room to our sattisfaction. But within 2 days they changed it to a room we really liked. Spevial respect to the manager who trys and succeds to keep every guest happy and maintains the quality.Even tho it was all inclusive, we like the fact u can choose different restaurants and different swimming pools. Ou kids (9 and 5had a superb time here and we will surely return.Thank to all from team Aegean.

We stayed in a superior room. Had a private pool shared with only the other residents in our block. The food is great! Great variety and some changes to the buffet menu every other evening. When you rent a bicycle the city of Kos is only 15 minutes away, although it might be a bit too hot to cycle at times. There is also a free shuttle bus every 2 hours, but do come early because there are limited seats.

End April we spend 8 days in this fantastic resort, and we miss it already. The staff are friendly, they gave us a homelike feeling and made our stay something to remember. The view we had at the resort was breath taking, looking over at Kos city and seeing the sun going down behind the mountains of Turkey made it all worth going back someday.

Greatest resort Ive ever been. Great food, great pool with a nice Aquapark at the top! Clean rooms, everyday. If you wanna go go the beach/center you have to take a dolmus. But this is very cheap. Very friendly!

Worst experience of my life. the staff have no clue of how to be honest with or or how to communicate to one another. the resort is nice and the food is good but if something goes wrong dont expect help.

My visit was in June the hotel was clean, Staff very friends polite. Rooms cleaned daily very tidy. Pools lovely well set out, one outside my room. Food gluten free which I didnt expect but good. I loved to go back again
