Aegan Blu in Kos

Awful experience!Our room was at the basement so we often had large cockroaches in the bathroom 😠 We had no wi fi down in our room.A lot of things in the room didn’t work. One of them was the shower! We asked to be repaired. They did it 2 days later and when we came back we found the bathroom and room extremely dirty from the repairing works (pictures attached). I asked for cleaning, but they came and just changed the dirty towel. I had to clean the rest dirt.We had some bulps that were not working. Some of the furniture was broken.It was very nosy most of the nights as drunk teenagers were making parties till 2-3 am.It was really a disaster!!!

Pros: The staff was amazing. They were always frianfly and tried their very best to satisfy our requests. The beds are comfy and the rooms were cleaned nearly everyday (even if they said they would do so every 3 days). You can order drinks at the bar 24/7.Cons: We were greated in our room by a baby lizard who just hatched and left it egg on our bed. 3 days later a giant cockroach tried to take a shower with me. Speaking of the shower, I know Im picky with that but I find it disgusting when you have moist everywhere on the walls and on the curtains. The WiFi is lame and works only on certain little spots. Only 2 switches out of 7 were working so it was difficult to see things at night. The breakfast was disgusting (even the germans wouldnt eat the sausages or the cheese). Pro tips: there is a supermarket with a daily bakery 100m near and its amazing.It was a good stay but this is definitely not a 4* hotel.

The apartment was disgusting. The toilet and the kitchen were dirty with hairs and stain everywhere, the cupboard and counter rotten. We asked for a refund because I didn’t want to spend a second more in this horrible place. Total scam, stay away from them.

Upon arriving we were shown to our rooms which was in the basement. When sitting on the “balcony” all we could see were ankles. When we asked for another room we were told we could get one the next day. We were then given keys to a very nice 2 room, which we thought was a nice compensation for the earlier bad room. About 30 minutes after getting situated in the room the hotel staff came and said we needed to leave because it was not our room. When going to the reception to talk about this the staff did not apologise once and blamed us for their wrongdoing. After telling us for 20 minutes that it was our fault, I then told the lady to stop blaming us when they are the ones who gave us the wrong key. Let’s just say that no apologies nor no compensation were given and we had to move down to another room.The hotel was extremely noisy, with first parties at night well after 11. And then some of the noisiest cleaning people, so impossible to sleep after 8. The room is also not cleaned everyday, and you often have to ask for cleaning.The wifi was non existent, and the few times it worked it was only for a few minutes.

This hotel feels like crashing an international teenage party. There were bunch of 20-somethings making heaps of noise around the clock, which is probably fine if you’re 20-something yourself, but it’s not a nice family hotel. Staff at the reception are nice but unfortunately can’t really recommend this hotel.

We went to the hotel and we saw a bug almost a rat size.the receptionist and I run out from the room. Even though receptionist told the rezervation team that it was a very big big on the sofa Rezervation did not want to cancel my room. They offered me another room. After seeing that much big bug, how can we stay on that hotel?.and booking.com did not do anything.we end up with paying $594 and we didn’t checked in the hotel.. we left the hotel and stayed in another hotel. We booked this room by Priceline and they used booking.com for the rezervation.i am not planning to use both companies again.and I will inform the kos and Greece health department for this issue.

Unfortunately this place was nothing like what its advertised online and in the pictures. Falling-apart furniture, tired-looking in general, very basic, many appliances not working or just cheap quality, inattentive staff (they try, and they were always friendly, thoughand almost no room cleaning while we were there. The state of some rooms was unreasonable, and we requested a different room the moment we got there, which we got the next morning The pool is nice but again, needs maintenance. If you arrive here with a 4-star expectation (and at a 4-star price!!), you will be disappointed and feel deceived.

Great apartment, had microwave, toaster, all the cutlery even got washing up liquid and a cleaning sponge! We had requested one of the rooms were ground floor this wasn’t available. The cleaner only came twice in seven days once to clean and once to empty bins and a friend in another apartment had to ask at reception twice before they cleaned it. Whilst staying there we heard others complaining about the cleaning side of things no clean towels, rooms not cleaned etc When it came to leaving we asked two days before if we could keep the room on because we were flying at 10.30pm, we was told yes that’s done you can pay on the day, the night before we went to pay and they said come back in morning went back in the morning and told there wasn’t a room available 🙄 no luggage storage it’s just left in the foyer and reception keep an eye on it, so not safe we were offered the office until 4pm but again not safe so had to carry our valuables around all day, not the hotels fault but the area is run down, there is a lot of empty buildings, abandoned buildings or half finished buildings. The beech is 5 mins walk and the town centre 20mins, don’t rely on taxis. On a night we didn’t feel we could have a drink, there was no one around and no music like you’d expect with a bar. Would I give it a 4 star ⭐️ no with a few tweaks and sort the cleaners out then yes it would be a great little hotel.
