Advent in Zagreb in Zagreb
Description
Privilege
Very happy and nice place to be these days…it looks and feels like Christmas!🎄
MoreFuliranje, advent kod Hotela Esplanade. Izvrsno mjesto za provod. Fenomenalna atmosfera. Cijeli prostor, i sve kućice imaju fenomenalnu ponudu i još bolje osoblje.
MoreBeautiful parks, and squares with lot of excellent music, food, and beverages. Really worth visiting.
MoreGreat place to visit when we have our Christmas market. Sometimes a bit too crowded...
MoreNajbolji advent u Europi, godinama zaredom, ne bez razloga. Zatim preko Strossmajerova parka i tzv. "Fuliranja" stižete na prekrasno okićen Zrinjevac sa cjelodnevnom glazbom uživo, pa preko neizostavnog Trga bana Jelačića do Gradeca i Klovićevih dvora, odakle se pruža predivan pogled na katedralu i grad, sa klizalištem i koncertima. Gastronomska ponuda je na svakom koraku, a ako adventske događaje kombinirate sa obilaskom par muzeja, crkava i par odličnih koncerata dobijete jackpot... Preporuka!
MoreVery nice decorations and Christmas spirit around the Zrinjevac and main square.
Best place to extend your Christmas feeling!
The place it’s nice, the only problem I found was parking the car.!
STILL ITS NOT TOO LATE!!! The sound of Christmas bells, the scent of gingerbread, mulled wine and various other delicacies... Just forget everything and enjoy all these wonderful things! During the Advent season, Zagreb offers a variety of events that will satisfy even the most demanding visitors. Plenty of fun, excellent food, unique events, art, but also a genuine Christmas atmosphere, await you
MoreVery nice
Best House ist "Stara Preša" on Zrinjevac. Good vine and cooked ham. Sausages are not bad. Come and enjoy!
MoreAmazing. Great atmosphere that excites all of your senses.
horrible: overcrowded, overpriced, too loud, too shiny... food is fine, but im used to sausages in bun, not this fancy, expensive gourmingle.not to mention that the money earned goes to selected few of our mayors buddies, insted of city as a community.the whole thing is so questionable that it got the mayor under police investigation.i try to stay away, theres mulled wine elsewhere
MoreSuper
Definitely overcrowded during weekends but a great on week days.
Best decorations and a true xmas feel, a lot of people though - hard to progress through town
MoreSoooo cool and funny jungpeople
Beautiful Christmas market with a big choice of good street food and drinks. Nice atmosphere, highly recommend.
MoreMagical!!!
Zagreb, glavni grad Republike Hrvatske, Europski grad, postaje BOŽIČNA BAJKA !!!U prenesenom značanje, naravno, sve je okićeno... ceste, drveće, kuće, parkovi... miriše kuhano vino, gastronomske delicije, božični ukrasi i pokloni... prigodna događanja, koncerti, eventi, predstave, klizališta... grad ljudi i događanja u Božičnom štihu starog belog Zagreb grada !!!Dođite i Uživajte punim srcem !!! ❤️🎆🎄
MoreAnd thats how it is done. We were never ever rich as some other European capitals, but notice the architecture, smart landscaping and statues ... along with xmas lights ... lovely jobly, I would say.
More2018. Kellemes, szép karácsonyi vásár! Talán a főtér dekorációjától többet vártam volna!
MoreOk
Nice
Excellent attraction in Zagreb!
A lot of fun!
The best European destination is in Zagreb at Christmas time 🎄🎊🎋
MoreSuper !
Same as all previous years.
Xmass in Zagreb is really beautiful. It has so many options you cant go everywhere in a day , but even in day you can go see amazing things. It is important that you organise before visit. If you are staying for a few days you will be able to see almost everthing that Zagrebs Advent has to offer. Prices are resonable so a family of 3 can find apartment in centre of Zagreb for 50-100€ for 1 night depends of what you want of apartment. The parking is payable almost everywhere.
MoreLiving abroad in an Orthodox Christianity country, Catholic Christmas can be a major bummer; its a regular day for everyone around you and its easy to feel terribly home sick. However, this year we decided to go to Zagreb and experience advent. It was really special and incredible. First of all, if you can stay near the event, everything is completely accessible by foot. Its Christmas market after Christmas market. The food is great and super interesting and there is Christmas decoration and music everywhere. The parties on the street the night before Christmas are tons of fun and highly recommended. Also, you must try the boiled gin, its the best! The only bad marks Ill give it are that the tunnels looked super impressive on photos but in reality are pretty basic. Much more effort is put into the decorations around the markets. Also, there isnt too much variation in food between most stands. Its mainly sausages. You have two markets that specialize in more interesting and diverse food and we spent most of our meals there. Lastly, the fact that everything is walking distance is a double-edged sword; yes its easy to get around but its also too easy to explore everything and just keep repeating over and over again. Three days was enough to do almost everything.
MoreIts beautiful, but really crowded (especially during weekends), but I guess thats what you get when you have the status of the best Advent in Europe :)You definitely wont stay hungry or thirsty!
MoreGreat Christmas market. Lot to see in very many placies. One of the best in Europe.
MoreSuper
Fantastically beautiful evening spectacle!
Really nice when not crowded, but too many food stands et very very restricted choice of x-mas decorations or souvenirs. Expensive.
MoreThe best one.
If not the best, than surely among the top 3 Advents/Christmass Markts in Europe
Best advent in Europe, beautiful and unforgettable place to see
Zelo lepo mesto! Vredno ogleda.Lepo okrašeno, z ogromno stojnicami in dogajanjem!Super sprehod po centru mesta in možnost drsanja.
MoreSuper!
MoreFor people who call it the best Christmas festival in Europe, they have not seen a lot of other ones. There are lights, a lot of them. Really shabby ones. There are people, a lot of them, just waiting for the tram. Most of the area is full of people just eating Langosh, Hot wine or Hot dogs because 90 out of 100 shops are selling just that. There is little in terms of what is offered as there is a limit to how much one can eat. Budapest is so much more vibrant and diverse in that regard. Overall, the whole mood is very monotonal and repetetive. Has a lot of glamour, youth but lacks vibrance and colour.
MoreYour best choice for buying unique Christmas decorations and original souvenirs. There are also a lot of food and drinks stands, but I find the offer at J.J. Strossmayer square (which is about 200m awaymuch better. Often too crowded.
MoreMany choices of food and drink street
best part of christmas fair
