No means of heating food so had to have takeaway (more expense). One room and bathroom for 3 people.

Amazing quality and value motel. Run by a lovely family who are extremely friendly and welcoming

It isn’t worth ur money , $160 is ridiculous for that and when we booked they didn’t say nothing about what time to check out the staff is rude I wouldn’t recommend that place and got charged an extra $25 for a late check out

I canceled a one night stay here due to Covid. And am being refused a refund. I would accept not receiving a refund if I was replied to sooner then two weeks later. And was actually considered. All I got were straight no’s. Wouldn’t recommend

It was a room, nothing was outstanding. A little disappointing to find a used face washer left in the shower, what else wasnt cleaned properly. Location was fine on the outskirts of town.

This is a great motel. Well off the road so the rooms are very quiet. Well sized room with some recent upgrades. This motel has pet friendly rooms. A very large area at the back of the motel to walk dogs.

Clean, tidy, room had everything we needed, bed was comfy and the pool 🏊‍♂️ a an amazing bonus. No issues with check in or check out.

One of the cleanest motels ever. We arrived after midnight and there was contactless checkin which was perfect. Bed very comfy, room and bathroom really clean, very warm. Highly recommend if passing through

Rooms are generous in size. Neat and clean. Service is excellent. I just hope the new owners will maintain this standard of care.

Excellent stay for 5 nights in May 2021. Dog/Pet friendly - our little hound was most welcome. However we pet owners, book ahead as they do have ‘set’ rooms for dogs. We took our own dog blanket and bedding. Room is typical motel room. Not large but good for 2. Yes it’s a bit dated and some things scratched (honestly what isntbut it was clean and bed really comfortable as were the pillows. Beds had nice electric blankets.Room has a little fridge, water jug, coffee and tea satchels, and a small long life milk. If you need more milk there is a Coles Express 300 metres up road. It also has a microwave and split system. Large flat screen smart tv on wall - you can watch YouTube on it or even log into your Netflix/Stan account and watch movies etc. Free and strong WiFi in room - never had a problem with download quality but then there’s was an antenna outside our room. Motel also has a guest laundry (round the back of room 12). You can buy drinks, alcohol and snacks at the reception to have in your room. Unfortunately no breakfast offered in morning to the room (even buying).Another strange thing; you have to turn on some ‘master switches’ to activate the power to the tv and some other items before you can use them - that threw me as I thought the battery in the remote was dead.Two things - parking is marked for each unit but due to the shape of the motel may not be immediately outside your room.Secondly; sometimes guests can be rude and stand outside talking loudly as if they really the only people there - as some rooms have chairs and tables in front. Not an issue during the day but not at 10pm+ when a lot want to sleep or have travelled long distances.Owners friendly and approachable. Would certainly stay again. Enjoyed our stay.On road leading out to Albury or Beechworth/Bright (Ovens and Kings Valley wineriesor the Rutherglen/Chiltern wineries and an hour south of Yarrawonga. Very central.

Managed to squeeze in over the Easter break and couldn’t have been happier.It’s exactly what a motel should be, clean, convenient and close to town.The shower was hot with excellent pressure, the bed was firm and warm, best of all the dog was welcome.Will definitely stay again when passing through.

Really nice motel! Very clean and tidy upon arrival. Dog friendly also which is a bonus for people travelling with a pet. Very friendly staff /owners. Nice area to sit out and soak up the sun as well as a pool and a spa. Short walk to the town so a perfect location.

What a lovely little find. We had 2 caravan tyres blow out on the Hume Highway, somewhere between Benalla and Glenrowan Victoria , on our adventure trip relocating to Qld, RAC towed it to Tuff Tyres in Wangaratta. As it happened late in the afternoon, and we had our pooch Kiki with us, we were pleasantly pleased when finding pet friendly Advance Motel Wangaratta. Molly in reception made us feel very welcome, rooms were exceptionally clean, warm and after a bit of a stressful day..Foxtail bonus!!

The room was clean, comfortable and spacious and had everything I needed. Great value for money. I was really happy with the service and would definitely stay here again & will recommend to friends and family staying in the area.

We stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment and it was great. The staff are lovely and easy to talk to, and very easy going. The pool was nice and clean and the kids had a blast, while the parents enjoyed the relaxing spa. The kitchen was modest and useful with plenty of cooking equipment. The lounge and bedrooms were also very nice.Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this establishment to anyone needing to stay in Wangaratta.We also had our King Charles Cavalier with us and he was great.

One of the best motels I have ever stayed in. Clean and comfortable and well presented. Lovely pool and spa area also. Fantastic customer service.

Excellent because right from when l rang to book the room Molly was professional , helpful & happy to answer any questions. Directions were easy to follow. Room was neat , clean & tidy Staying here was an easy walk to the local RSL fo dinner.

We used this as a half was stop on our way to Melbourne. The room was clean, staff were friendly and helpful. When we stayed it was NYE and tgere were a number of guests staying at the motel who were partying in the pool, no issues there. They continued well into the night which again wasnt to bad but when they started letting fireworks off in the forecourt it got a bit much. Not the hotels fault but they did seem to go unchecked all night and tgere were plenty of guests not partying. I put this down to me getting boring in my old age though cause it was NYE. Id happily stay again.

Lovely owners tidy rooms lovely fresh clean pool, PET FRIENDLY without restrictions, dogs allowed in accommodation, owners even have pet blankies at the office. This is what all motels Australia wide should be like!!! Think about it how noisey sticky and badly behaved children are compared to other family members like the 4legged furbabys.....

Management and staff were so helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and extremely clean. My husband I had a wonderful relaxing weekend out of the ring of steel thanks to the Advance Motel and great service. Pooch enjoyed it too.

Have stayed here twice now when visiting family in the area. Rooms are clean, staff very friendly, and love that we can bring our dog!

Stayed for a couple of weeks for work. Great staff, cold beer and plenty of parking. There was a gaggle rambunctious nurses one of the nights. What I wouldn’t have given to be 20 years older that night...

The Gentleman at the front desk was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable, exactly what we thought we were getting. Great wifi signal and the smart TV was a big hit with the kids. We would absolutely stay there again.

We found our first ever quick power stay home from our 2 week interstates travel. We all felt refreshed the next day. Place is quite, well maintained room. Quality beds!! The pool and spa is the best!! ,after traveling 45 deg on the road.. highly recommended.!!

Highly recommend!!!My fiancé and I had to evacuate our home due to bushfires so we stayed here. Michael was amazing and went above and beyond, we could not fault anything. The service was absolutely fantastic and our room was large, comfortable and super clean. We hope to come back again under better circumstances because it was just lovely. Thank you again! Nice room for the night. Plenty of power plugs and comfy bed. Wifi was quite slow but still good enough to watch YouTube. Very nice place and owner very generous.

Between my initial call to Mike, then the amazing accessible suite, super-comfy bed, quality milk & superb tea / coffee / biscuits on offer; followed closely by a life changing shower & the extremely attentive Molly, not to forget the outstanding efforts of housekeeping staff team Diane & Kaitlyn, Wow, Yes, Yes, Yes, A+++, 100% magical, cost effective, excellent accommodation.I have paid out more money for less appealing accommodation in the past, never again, as when Im anywhere near Wangaratta, III be only staying here...

Lovely accommodation. Clean and well resourced room with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Very friendly and considerate staff. Had the heater on for my arrival. Will stay here again when in the area and would recommend.

Love this place, especially if you are travelling with puppers or kids / teens. There is a pool and spa (heaven after a long day on the road, and at the rear of the motel is a beautiful walking trail through eucalyptus and billabongs. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. The family room was huge. We will be back!

Lovely, dog friendly accommodation conveniently located close to the Hume. Always has great staff and customer service. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Reasonably priced. Great area for the dogs to run around.

Hi stayed at the Advance Motel last week and found this place to be the Go To Place for Accommodation in Wangaratta, Rooms are very clean, beds are very comfortable, Linen and Towels are spotless, Rooms have ample power points for charging Phones/Lap Tops, and a bar fridge with Milk and coffee supplied, Breakfast was brought to my room on time and let me tell you their Bacon is to die for !I met Michael the owner and his family and found them to be very kind harted and generous people, their contribution to the local community is outstanding !Highly recommend this place Ill be back !

We were so impressed with the hospitality and great service from this establishment. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and the owners so obliging with any requests. On return from a three day bike ride we were greeted with the Spa all prepared for us and cold drinks were brought to us as we enjoyed the spa. A room was opened up for us to change in and even though we wanted to make some monetary compensation for all this trouble none was taken. Totally recommend this Motel any time you are in Wangaratta

This motel was great for our one night stay. Reception is very friendly and helpful. Room is average size, comfortable bed, good pillows and a brilliant hot shower. The tv screen I found too small and the bathroom showings its age. But all in a very clean and comfortable motel room.

Great place to stay if you are travelling with a Pet. Its clean, basic and located just on the outside of town. Can get a decent breakfast delivered to your room.

Pool. Oldish motel rooms but with all you need. Everything worked. TV even in the other bedroom for kids where we had two single beds. Was comfortable but the main reason I would stay again is the shower. Wonderfully hot and great pressure, even after Mrs and 2 kids! Location on edge of Wang is also great to get off in the morning.

Erratic room servicing. We had a 5 night stay and only done once. We got back from a long ride well into the afternoon and no room service or clean towels.No discount offered and no little bickies. This doesnt happen in Asia.Also, we had a late check in and had to ring to get the details. Why cant people use email? Much easier and less chunce of misteaks.Basic TV with several of the channels not working. Why cant they bung $1 a day on per room and get decent cable.Enough of the negatives. Nice clean room on ground floor. Comes with kettle, microwave and toaster (which was not advertised).Great location for cycling. Only an easy quiet 500m to the wonderful M2M/Beechworth and Wangaratta/Milawa paths plus the obvious road riding.Probably the best lit place Ive stayed in with wonderful lighting. Most motels have a single 25 watt globe to light the whole place.

I have stayed here several times with my doggies. It was just perfect each time. I loved having the dogs in the room with me, and the walks were great behind the hotel. I would recommend it to anyone, particularly those travelling with dogs.

Warm , inviting reception over the phone and in person.Very clean, tidy rooms, including bath room. Best shower ever!!Heating/cooling provided with all the regular motel features.Close to town but far enough to avoid the noise.Would book again on our travels!Thanks Michael!

Great hospitality, dog friendly, warm and snug. Short walk to town, which has a great welcoming atmosphere even on a cold winters night. And the breakfast...unbelievable!! Scrumptious, huge.. the best value youll ever find! Will definitely be heading back.

Walked in with two kids at 6pm on a Sat night, tired after a day in the car - got a 2 br room, quickly and easily. Very friendly front desk, helpful tips for a meal in a local pub, clean room. (Pick up a Golden Chain card at reception when you arrive and get 10% off)

Micheal and Tiffany have been the perfect hosts making our stay enjoyable and convivial. The rooms were clean with the grounds and pool well maintained. You couldnt ask for more.
