Adršpašské skály - Tourist attraction in Nowa Ruda, Poland
2-4 hour walk. For 2+2 family ticket was 15 euro, also 2eur parking. Rock formations are suprisingly tall and interesting. No drones allowed. Some areas were quite steep and narrow.
Beautiful place, worth to visit. During the weekends might be crowded. You can save the money if purchase ticket online.
Amazing rock formations, well preserved flora and fauna and very clean walking trails. Well documented maps available to take self guided tours. No restaurants around which is very wierd and hence have to carry own food and water but eating inside the park may not be allowed to preserve the cleanliness.
If you will ever be in Czech Republic or in the South of Poland I would highly recommend visiting the Adrspach Rock City. You will be transported in the magical scenery of rock high-rises with lakes and little brooks surrounded by a beautiful forest. There are few different trails, some easier and shorter than others but be prepared to walk a lot with many steps up and down.Summers tend to be very busy so it is recommended to buy tickets online in advance. If you would like to get something to eat, there are few places with decent food but remember to bring cash, though there is an option to exchange money at the park. Restrooms are available before you enter the park.
Once upon a time this lovely place was admission free, wild camping possible as the tramping folks paid respect to the rock formations and mother nature. Massive tourism, however, does not allow this approach any more - on the contrary, the endless crowds are pestering the vicinity and entrance fee shall be doubled namely for the people in "shopper outfit" and "shoes on heels". The extreme Instagram Barbies shall be banned from entrance completely in their own interest, as the terrain is not suitable for their gentle movements...
GENERAL STUFFA perfect, 2-hours long walk even if the weather is not nice. Its recommended to book in advance (via the website). You can get some discounts (for example if you choose particular visiting hours). The website tells you how many entrance tickets and parking spots are left for each day. The parking is for the entire day, it costs 150 kc. It is open from 7:00 till 21:00PARKINGThe parking is not that big, the road coming from Poland is narrow but passable. Im not sure what it might look like in winter, but in the fall its totally fine. To enter the parking, you need to show a QR code with reservation (printed or a smartphone). In case you dont have a reservation, you can pay in the mashine next to the entrance of the parking.ENTRANCEThe entrance is to the rocks for a particular hour (for example 10:00-11:00), it means you enter between 10:00 and 11:00, and you could stay as long as you wish. The ticket cost 110 kc (for 9:00and 160 kc (for 10:00). The visit is done freely, so no need to search for tour guideFrom the parking, flow the entrance sighs, leading into the direction of railway station of Adrspach. On the way, you could meet small souvenirs stalls, where you can get some postcards, magnets, local beer or Kofola.ADRPARSSKIE SKAŁYThe route inside of the Skalne Mesto is well marked. Upon showing your ticket (QR code or printed version), you will receive a map (available also in Polish and Germanwith most important places of interest. You start next to a lake, then folllow a blue marked trail amongts impressive rocks. The view start almost immediately. There are quite a few steps, so it could be tiring, but in general there were no steep climbs. There is one narrow part (mysia nora), it is 50 cm wide between two rocks. My favourite place is Brama Gotycka, which is absolute must to see in here.ADRSPAARCH I TELPICE W 1 DZIEŃIf you want to save some money and see both Adrspach and Teplice, you can totally visit with just one ticket. With the ticket from Adrspach you can walk the yellow trail between the towns. Its 6 kilometres long and leads through a forest. Your car needs to stay in Adrspach, so after sightseeing youll need to come fetch it :
You need to book online ticket to park a car , otherwise there is no place for booking offline place. But the nature is awesome😍
A most spectacular natural wonder!! A must visit if youre in the area.My only recommendation would be to either arrive when the gates first open or go for a less busy day during the week.We arrived around 10 and managed to avoid the masses for the first half of the loop by going in reverse. Once we got the crowds it was a completely different experience and not as enjoyable.
I liked that Great Panorama spot.Fun park, nice trails between the rocks, the lake has great colors.A superb place to visit..A place i recommend for an easy hike. You can eat there, has a parking lot.Seems they even have some small train going there and lot of different trails.
Amazing, great and easy walk
Beautiful picturesque place worth visiting. I recommend saving about 2-4 hours to see everything.
Beautiful place. You really want to see it.
Very nice place for visit with the whole family.Big parking, easy access - worth traveling and not very expensive.
This is an amazing place!!! Worth visiting! If you like walking, hiking this would be perfect, views are stunning. There are lots of walking paths throughout the forest. We walked at least 15km! The price for the entry is dead cheap comparing to what you can see. We stayed there for about 6 hours. If you are in the area come and check this out. One of those places that you would want to come back to. Highly recommended!
You have to buy tickets online and it is recommend to do it a few days ago, because tickets can be sold out on your arrival day. And if you want to go with boat, you can pay for it only in cash.
Amazing hiking experience. The lake and the rock formations are fabulous. The trails are very easy for all ages. Definitely you need to visit if you are in Czech Republic
Incredibly beautiful rock formations amidst great natural beauty. Unfortunately, the trails you can walk on are all fixed and there are hardly any side trails. That, coupled with the huge crowds, creates a feeling youre riding a train. You move along with the flow, like in an attraction park -- which is essentially what this place has been turned into...
First of all - there is no information anywhere that tickets must be bought online in advance! Guards are nervous and aggressive. If you dont have tickets in advance, you will be kicked out and there is not even a place to park your car. Moreover, check the information on the availability of tickets on the website, as the mornings and weekends are usually sold out.Information for families with children - keep in mind that there are a lot of stairs in the park, sometimes dangerous and high. But the park is very beautiful and well-groomed. We enjoyed walking there.
One of the most beautiful and epic places to visit in Czech Republic. Its a national park with giant rocks you can walk through along a guided path. It takes about 2-3 hours to walk the trail, you can also walk around the lake. The path is very manageable but you do have same climbs/stairs along the way. There is a boat trip at the waterfalls but we did not find this worth the trouble as the artificial lake its on is very small. The rocks are awesome and walking between them was really an amazing experience would definitely recommend going there when in Czech Republic. The tour as well as the parking lot can be booked in advance which is recommended.
Breathtakingly beautiful! Must see this if you visit Czechia. Some of the trails are very physically demanding, but worth it!
One of the most beautiful places we have ever visited. One of such places as Plitvitskie in Croatia. A must see on a every bucket list out there
Beautiful place, we visited this park at late September, it was nice period: not cold yet, not too hot. We’ve drive to there from Prague, it worths it, beautiful nature in the park and during the road.
Great views! So many rocks and a beautiful lake! Lots of stairs so it really becomes a great workout. Totally worth seeing tho.
Great place but practically unknown by foreigners. Nice way to be active in a sunny day. Boat trip is short and funny but guide speak czech only. Take some water for the trip. Unfortunately not all areas are available for strollers. The trip takes a few hours-depends on route you choose. If youre there remember that theres close Riese - visit Książ Castle and Osòwka
What a great place this is. The rocks look fantastic, route is not difficult. If Ypu are in the neighborhood just go there!
Beautiful place. Some might find it a bit short (Ive done it in one hour), nevertheless its a pleasant walk and definitely worth a visit. Well organized (buy tickets online and then just scan the QR codes on parking entry). Highly recommended
Spectacular place to visit, kids liked it. Friendly for dogs. Warly recommended
Beautiful place. Better to come between weekends. And be sure to go for a boat trip.
Iconic place "must visit".Nature location entrance is paid due to "tourism compensation fee". Parking is paid because this village has no other income. Access road is not well maintained. Arrival by local train possible. Free toilets in the welcome centre - not by parking lot.Reservation for entrance might be needed in the main season and weekends.
Great view, easy trail, but super crowdy;either way, worth visiting.
Amazing place for a lazy weekend hike. I recommend not to go back to Adršpach but takie is very beautiful and not crowded yellow path via Vlčí Rokle to Teplice. From Teplice you can go back to Adršpach either by train or just by taking a red path.
Lovely walk with the dog. One section was 400 steps. Another section was a long narrow gap (down to 50cmto squeeze through. A couple of waterfalls and lake to walk around too. Highly recommended
Amazing place, a must visit for any nature and trail lovers. The main trail is not long - 3.5km, but has a lot of stairs/elevation, so allocate 1. 5 to 2 hours. Beware -i n the main paid parking area pay for the whole day which costs 200czk / 8eur / 9 usd. There are cheaper options nearby. Entry in the park is paid - 180czk for an adult ticket.
Its really magical place! Recommended for All. So beautiful 🥰
Here you will find a large number of rocks that form a rock massif. Both in winter and in summer, this place can really interest you with interesting forms of rock formations. The trip is not long (about 30-50 minutes in one direction), you can safely walk with children and even dogs. In early spring it was slippery because of the ice, but in late spring and summer there should be no problems. I definitely recommend you to visit this place.
Amazing views, I highly recommend going further to the higher parts. Its quite exhausting, but worth it!Take good trekking shoes, because it can get slippery at places.U must try the honey 🍺 at the entrance to the park.
Amazing place. I bet it looks even better during summer. Definitely coming back in summer. Good place to spend the day !Its better to buy ticket online. Its cheaper and faster. No need to wait in queue. Its possible to make all payment with cash and card.Car parking cost 50 czk for whole day.Recommended!!
Amazing natural scenery. Well worth the visit. Let your imagination roam when looking at these natural stone sculptures.
Absolutely beautiful place. We got there early and took the train. Train station is right across, because I heard that parking is a problem. Also, we got there early to avoid the crowds.
Incredible, mystical place.Could be reached from almost all EU within 5-10 hours (or fasterby car.Enjoy walking, breathing, viewing.Especially thanks for boat captain and his crew.!!! necessary to sail a boat !!!Its a place you can come many many times
Unbelievable and breathtaking views. The park consists of three parts. Take- green route: has enough views and everything people come for- yellow: if you want a boat trip in the mountains. Its cheap, but the boats are overcrowded.- new part of green route: if you are ready for thousand of stairs. The panoramas opening will partially pay back🙃In summer big waterfall looks like small. And the small one is really tiny.
Its a great place to visit in the Czech Republic. Whole trip - green road takes about 1.5 hours. At the second lake there is a counter where you can buy a boat ticket. It costs 50 Kč (adult ticket).
Wonderful place! Must visit and see with tour own eyes! Its miracle of nature! The reason of lower rating is the fees for parking and entrance. They are way higher at the place than if you pay online. And online payment was not working (payment could not be completed at their website). So the advice is: try to pay online in advance (hope it will work for you), and save money.
Truly spectacular, photos or words can not do this place justice, its a very easy walk that can be done at any fitness level. From start to finish the views are breathtaking.
I won’t repeat how spectacular it is. Just add some interesting insights. Many routes suitable for strollers. It gets harder later down the route. Can be very crowded in the top season. It’s walkable in 1-2 hours.I’d gladly support the caretaking organization, but I’m happy the access is free and open also outside of operating hours. The organization that operates the park is very careful, rangers patrolling around, lots of dont-do-this signs everywhere. One cannot walk a tiny bit off the routes - I understand this, but we personally enjoy wild nature much more.
Splendid place, one of the top and most scenic in Czech Republic. Recommended. Just avoid weekends and high seasons since it could be very crowded.
A nice place to walk in and make a lot of great photos! The entrance is 120 KC for a grown up, 70 for children 6-15 y.o.Important! There are no toilets on the territory of the park)
Amazing place, such a natural beauty spot especially in good weather. Really worth visit. Good boots are recommended if you want to get the whole route done. Quite a few steps and stairs.
Great walking tours through the rocks. The boat ride is kind of weird - the stories are told in Czech and they regard some random figurines placed on the islands and coasts of the lake (not sure if they are suitable for children, at least the version we have been told). There are a few resting areas throughout the park, but keep in mind that a toilet is only available at the entrance (very clean and nicely equipped).
A fantastic place to visit all year round! In summer and late spring can be a bit crowded, but in winter its almost empty. The views are amazing! And the walking paths shouldnt cause problem to anybody.
