Adolfo's Mexican Food - Mexican restaurant in Pueblo, United States
I recommend the carne asada fries
Yummy fast Mexican food! I got the Carne Asada burrito just wrapped up with no wet chile on top. It came wrapped in paper, not foil. It had fried onions meat tomatoes and guacamole inside, I think. Maybe it had pico de Gallo too. Anyway, it had alot of meat. Not gonna lie. It was mostly meat. The meat was seasoned nice, and not too salty. I didnt weight the meat, but Im guessing at least 6-8oz was on that burrito. I was so full afterwards and I wasnt hungry for the rest of the day at all. The people who worked there were friendly, and it took maybe 7 minutes to get my burrito. I ate it at a table there. It was a clean table. I got green and red salsa with it. This location doesnt have a drive thru, but it was fast and good.
Very good flavor and excellent service 👌🏻
I love this place! The California burrito is so good! Great service too. I’d recommend this place to anybody.
Really good burrito. Really good price.
I wish this restaurant was located in the state where I currently live! I’ve had the carne asada and the fish burrito so far and it is great!!! I got the California burrito as well, but I’m gonna have that a little later on. Overall, this place is above 5 stars. I love this food!
Too overpriced for a place in pueblo. Quality has gone downhill over the years. $6 for a single tostada along with everything else is not worth it
if you get tired of those overrated taco and burrito restaurants, just drop by to Adolfos - the most legitimate mexican burrito in town. fresh ingredients at affordable price. the staff managing the counter is amazing. this place is quite small and hard to spot for dine in but food is superb. well definitely come back and order online.
Do not order chicharron it is slimey they do not deep-fry them. So basically they are half raw.
Oh my God you need to eat here so so good communication is hard sometimes but there food is very good
This isnt gourmet food or anything, but it is completely delicious. Adolfos is also open late (I always seem to crave a breakfast burrito when Im working nights), the employees are extremely nice, and they arent stingy with the hot sauce like most other places.
Best place in Pueblo to get a California burrito
Worst experience of my life and I will never return…. Sunday night I decide to take out dinner for my family , I ordered 2 California burritos no pico no guacamole with sour cream , my kids meal and XL drink. I spent over $30 on food. The guy up front takes my order and rings me up for the wrong burritos , I don’t look at my receipt as my hands are full and a line is forming behind me. I get home as my husband and I bite in to our burritos we realize several ingredients are missing i unroll my burrito and realize it’s completely wrong! I call the guy and he remembers who I am, he tells me I can come back to the restaurant for a remake or a refund just for me to bring my food and receipt… I return to the store and hand over the wrong burritos in hope for the correct ones , the cashier dude puts on ONE glove and unwraps my burritos and touches them all up and waits a minute to say , “ I am sorry but because these burritos are bitten in to I am unable to remake them or refund you at this time” at this point I’m just beyond frustrated he refuses to help me and turns me away so at that point I turn to a different location for help on what I should do being im about to loose out on my $30 dinner , we’ll anyways after the guy starts touching up my burritos that were bitten in to he continued on helping customer no washing his hands no disposing the eaten food NOTHING but a disappointment ! So disgusted and disappointment feel like I was robbed basically 😭👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
Food is great, wait time is usually pretty short and the staff is very friendly.
A little tricky to find but worth the effort. Great breakfast burritos.
This is it guys... This place is #1 GOOD FOOD GREAT SERVICE FRESH.... HOT...... ON TIME...READ YOUR ORDER BACK TO YOU.... NEVER HAD ANY MISTAKES SINCE IVE BEEN A CUSTOMER. IF I COULD GIVE 10 STARS I WOULD JUST THE PLACE TO GO EAT PRICE OF FOOD IS JUST RIGHT. ..
Purchased two big containers of menudo, but sorry it smelt horrible when my 11 year old son opened it to get some, did tell him DONT eat that !!!!!!! Im almost certain the menudo was not washed right or it was old one of the two. Either way not be returning.
Loved the steak burritos. Best Mexican food in Pueblo in my opinion.
Always a old time favorite and usually very delicious, be sure and ask for your fries extra crispy when getting the Cali burrito, it taste much better.I only have had a couple bad times here and wasn’t major.
We eat here every time we’re in Pueblo! Fantastic breakfast burritos.
Smells exactly like a locker room. We walked in and right back out. Wth Pueblo? Are there any clean Mexican restaurants in town or what?
Delicious food! Great food and large portions for what you pay for. I ordered the Carne Asada Fries and it was delicious. Definitely would go back there again, as the interior of the restaurant is very clean and tidy. Short wait for the food and friendly staff.
For me, Adolfos has been hit or miss. Admittedly, I moved from Texas, and that may have left me with a tex mex bias. I find the full plates to be a good value, with plenty of flavorful meat, rice, and beans to make up a couple enjoyable, filling meals. The restraunt made tortillas contribute as well. The salsas are flavorful, and ler me control the heat. This is the reason for 4 stars. I love taquitos though, called rolled tacos on Adolfos menu. Theirs are...not good. The literal only time I have taken a single bite of restraunt food and declared it inedible. Soggy, bland, just awful. I would never have gone back, except I have friends who really like the place. Im glad I reluctantly gave them a second chance, but Adolfos is not my first choice.
I went to Adolfos to purchase a simple breakfast burrito. When I entered, I noticed the cook was not wearing his mask correctly over both his nose and mouth. He was standing there cooking, breathing on the food he was preparing. I politely told the man taking orders that I had planned on ordering food, but that I had changed my mind because of the risk involved. I told him that several people in my orbit had died in the previous week and that I was very concerned. He pointed toward the door and told me to get out, which I did (and will never return). If you are as concerned about this type of business attitude as I am I would ask you to ethier express your views to the people who work there -- or the owners -- or boycott the place entirely.
Ordered the number 19, steak rancharo plate. OMG it was amazing. They were courteous, fast, and the food tasted awesome. The place is small and only offers 5 tables to sit at... However it is worth it to wait during the busy timesAlso it is priced way to LOW for the quality and amount of food you get
First time eating here, I sure wasnt disappointed. I ordered a carnitas breakfast burrito, and they rocked it!! The only thing that kept it from getting a 5 stars was I called and ordered ahead for pick up, as Im a busy dude, and I got there 10-15 minutes later and they hadnt started on my order yet. It wasnt until after I paid and I had to wait about 10 more minutes. There was 3 other customers in the restaurant when I got inside.EDIT: Twice Ive called and ordered ahead, and they dont start the order until Im there and paid. I dont see the point in calling ahead to pick up an order if theyre not going to start your order before you get there.
Stopped in here because I had been a while since Id been here. I was impressed at the remodeling that had since been done and the upgraded digital menu. Staff are still just as friendly as I remember. Food is still delicious.
Went in to get a coworker a burrito for breakfast however the burrito wasnt to his liking (he didnt realize what came on it and was displeased with it. However it was correct.Went back to swap it for something else and Micah was very polite and generous. He helped out without a problem. Great job by him and the others working, thank you!
I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, I’ve always loved their food, but lately Bernardo has made it even better! I have a broken leg, and it’s hard for me to carry things with my crutches. He’s always so gracious and happy and he even brings my food to the car after I order so I don’t have to carry it.I’ve never had a complaint about the service here, but bernardo’s service leaves me compelled to leave a great review (and also keep coming back!Thank you guys for great food and service!
The first time I went there in a long time. The food was fresh and tasted delicious. I had a California burrito. Despite it being a little on the skinny side of a burrito it was hot and fresh and was the best burrito I have ever had from them
Worst Mexican food Ive had in a long time. Everything we tried had NO FLAVOR. They have no actual salsa (how can any Mexican restaurant on the planet not have salsa??), their red sauce is flavorless, meats are flavorless, and not remotely the caliber it should be. Majorly over priced for the food you get. I am from Texas, where beautiful Mexican food flows, and Tex-Mex if that is your mood for the evening. Will never go there again.
I had the lengua burrito. Not only the best Ive had in a long time, but it wont drip on your shirt! Very good, I will definitely be back.
This place is a hidden gem! HUGE portions of food at great prices. Horchata was best Ive had in a while and the customer service was good and informative. If you are passing by I recommend this place!
Great prices, food is always fresh and on point. Staff and service is always friendly and fast. Great find, Thanks B.N.S.F. Railway crews. Not sure if they are still 24 Hrs open, but I remember they used to be......
I am vegetarian and I ordered off of DoorDash but wanted a breakfast burrito. The only breakfast burritos they had, had meat. I didn’t know if it was possible but wanted to attempt at placing a special instruction to swap out the meat for eggs and Adolfos came in clutch and did just that!
They have good food, pretty clean, not really friendly but not unfriendly either. I ordered the Enchilada plate but they do not give you a choice of red or green chili without paying$2.50 more. The price was not much less than a full service restaurant with a nice atmosphere and friendly waiters. If you only want a burrito this is a good fast food place, their burritos are very good.
Anytime we drive to Pueblo or through it we always have to stop at Adolfos and get the California Burrito. We just love that burrito. We have not found another burrito that can come close to this one. I live in Denver with all their restaurants and taco trucks around still no California Burrito, so it is a treat when we get to have one. Everyone in Pueblo knows about Adolfos and their California Burrito. If you ever make it to Pueblo and wanna try an amazing burrito stop by Adolfos and try their California burrito. You wont be disappointed.
One of our favorite Pueblo joints! Some of the best burritos weve ever had anywhere in the world. So glad that some of them are open 24/7 as well, that is how we found out about them!
The food is amazing!!! The service is very fast and super friendly. The prices are almost too good because the food is really excellent. If you need a starting point on the menu, the California burrito will make you happy (I prefer to sub grilled chicken for the steak - try it both waysand the Guacamole cheese fries are a standout. It is truly magical that they can load up fries that much and they are still crispy!!!
A local favorite and not for the higher class. Cheap white to go bags and material for the food but your not gonna get a better burrito to go then here. Always stop by when Im home and I always leave satisfied. Not to many places can you get food in the middle of the night either so thats a plus.
3.5 stars. Decent enough place. We got carne asada fries because a co-worker has brought them for lunch before and they looked delicious. Portion is huge and they are indeed quite tasty. Recommend having it with the spicy sauce as it makes the fries much much better. They have a couple of tables inside so you can sit and eat if empty.
The food is incredibly delicious and is as close to Cali-Mex as it gets. The flavors remind me of the border at San Diego. They are open 24 hours and the rowdy drinkers know it. Sometimes they go there for a fight and the food is optional. I was told this by a fighting drinker. Daylight hours are fine. Decent prices.Update: Shorter hours have curtailed the rowdies.
This is absolutely a great place to eat incredible food at a very reasonable price. We particularly like their individual item menus but their plates are really good. We like their tacos and burritos for lunch. Their enchiladas with red chile are incredible. Their burritos are huge in both flavor and size. I do not understand why anyone goes to Taco Bell when this place is right around the corner and they have drive-through service as well. We have not met anyone here that is not super friendly and truly interested in ensuring your visit is the best it can be.
The Cheese enchilada were pretty yummy. I got them to go and brought them home luckily because the cheese inside wasnt all melted. It reheated well though.I also got a horchata which is very sweet and delicious. The service was very fast and the prices are great! My meal was around 7-8$There was no wait in line and the wait for my food was around 5 minutes.Facility was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. Usually they are open 24 hours but when the weather is bad like today, expect them to close overnight
Relleno burrito and torta were awesome! Will definitely be back.
The prices are ridiculous! $.95 for cheese. $6 for a bean and cheese burrito that tasted horrible. The beans tasted old and were dry. Tortilla was hard. $7 for a California burrito that had old fries and spoiled sour cream. Staff was very rude.Dont waste your money. Go to Vasquez tacos where the food is worth the money!
Walked in and they were busy, but not letting that hinder their work speed. I was in and out within 15 minutes. Only reason being that most food they make, is "made-to-order," and even then with four people in front me they still got it done in a timely manner. Thanks very much. Food was fantastic.
Excellent GrubExcellent HoursAdolfos is PuebloCali Burro muy Bonita! If you cone during the day Plan to walk parking is LIMITED!
Honestly I’ve been coming here for fifteen years. I absolutely love it. They’re a staple any time I’m back down in southern Colorado. Can’t go through Pueblo without a stop. My favourite for years has been the California Breakfast Burrito. The fact that they’re open 24 hours a day is just a cherry on top.
Food is amazing. Love the California burrito, and fries with cheese. Prices have went up quite a bit from what I remember them being but the burritos are pretty decently sized for the price. You will never leave here still hungry. Bathrooms are not in the best conditions. Staff are always very friendly.
