This place is one of the most amazing place I have ever seen,it was agreat Visit to the eagles castle 🏰 and seeing this fantastic show .

If you are staying nearby and bought a Kärnten Card, you should definitely pay a visit. Shows multiple times a day (visit website for timestake approx. half an hour and show many birds. Comment from staff mostly in German (some short explanation in English), but that does not really spoil the show 😊. Location of the show is great - you are surrounded by mountains.Parking costs are 4€20.The Landskron offers very nice views of the Ossiacher See area. You can enjoy a drink or lunch/diner whilst enjoying the view.You can also visit the Affenberg. We did not as you can only visit with a guide and we would have to wait an hour for the tour. But cannot judge if it is worthwhile or not.

A very beautiful castle with an amazing performance. It is definitely worth visiting..

Amazing show with the birds!

Loved the show and the fact that they have a hospital for birds of prey that are then re-released in the wild ❤️

Recommended place to visit. The show is a combination of flying birds and a story about their wildlife.The birds can do what they want, get some food during the show. Or if they are grumpy ;fly away and come back days later.The narrator speaks both German and English. Bring some sunscreen in case of sunny weather and a bottle of water because the climb up is steep.If you are lucky and early you can park in front of the castle or at one of the 10 places inside the castle.Combine your visit with the Affenberg monkey park (same parking space)

The birds of prey park where one can see a few species of birds in cages and mainly the Birds of Prey Air Show when falconers demonstrate free-flying birds of prey. The show is in German only so even if the falconers commentary is very informative, for non-German speakers, especially kids, it can be lengthy.

The eagle show is quite impressive for old and young. The team also informs you about interesting facts about their birds. After the show you have the chance to take some picture with one of their birds and continue your trip at the monkey Hill.

Such a great spot and good idea to continue to use such an historical place. I believe its just genius who had the idea. Not a fan of enclosed animals though.

Great show but unfortunately it was in German only. Two years ago it was also in English so maybe it is just temporary.We were here on a Sunday at 1pm and it was not crowded.There is a small fast food restaurant at the entrance of the show (within the castlewith pommes, frankturter, pizza and beverages, it was great to eat someting there.

Very interesting experience. Our guide was great, spoke good English. You can tell he loves what hes doing.

Beautiful birds. Great to see, but also a bit sad as theyre in rather small cages for big birds that they are.

Hopefully the pictures will help Adlerarena Burg Landskron. Please spend money for the health station to help saving life of the beautiful birds.

Nice hourly show. Good that they keep the birds as close to their natural behaviour as possible, and not train as a cirkus. Bring sunscreen on a sunny day.

Very interesting to see the birds fying around while someone gives information about them. Good fun deffinatly worth it!

Very good hawk show. Not only can one see the flying birds but also lots of useful information was given.

A nice place to spent few hour in nature, close to forest. If youre going by car you may live before rhe barier and walk about 1 km by foot or you may pay 3.80euro nd go with the cre near the location. The road is accesible for active person but may be tricky for lazy persons 🙂 Is time for move 👍 Once you go there there will be a nice landscape with mountains and the lake. There is also a restaurant and a place with souvenirs.

Great expierence. It might be hard to understand for others since its all in German, but the show was spectacular and funny! I was here in 2011 and after 9 years, it still did not disappoint.

Entrance is cash only... So after 30 minutes in line you can turn back. Very corona unfriendly to handle all that cash. Plus its 2020.. Come on.It would be nice to mention on your website that theres a additional parking fee plus cash needed.

There are no Corona / COVID 19 measurements in place! Way to much people can enter.The birds are in small cages.Atm this should be closed, in order to protect peoples health.Pros: show presenters are very enthousiastic.

Not so spectaculair show. Nice and ok, but nothing more. No shade, so in full sun it is hot.

The show lasts about an hour, but 45min are bring used for mainly talking. Furthermore was the host openly very rude to his supporting staff.

Very interesting and informative experience! You can enjoy the beauty of eagles and falcons flying over the castle.The team is professional and you can feel theyre very passionate about what they do. They share a lot of stories and information about birds, eagles and falconry. The money goes to the castles animal clinic.

Very unique experience - much more interesting than just seeing the birds in a zoo. The presenter is also good (it is in german of course). Seemed like the birds also enjoyed the play, so luckily not a circus-like thing.

I had the most delicious burger of my life here + there was a nice bird show.

Amazing to see big birds flying so close to the audience! Great show. Even dog friendly, but be sure that the dogs are not barking to the fast flying birds....

Very nice show. The explanation is all in German, but the hawks fly in all language. Worth to visit.

The tour guide is amazing - fluently speaking bird facts for hours and hours even the birds were there with their own head. Actually it was presented in a very funny way. Special when the birds were doing what they seemed to make sense to them and not to the trainer. And they are amazing huge, hunting for food in their special way (stealing, attacking...).

A wonderful castle at a great vantage height with great views at all areas, and one of the best large bird sanctuarys I have ever seen with a great falcon show, also a loverly restaurant with romantic settings.

Really cool and love it the way how tutors explaining about the eagles and everything related, the show was really cool and the eagles live in clean environment

Nice bi-lingual bird show presenting falcons, Hawks, Ravens, and eagles. Birds are free to roam the area but return to cages for feeding. Hohen Salzburg show is longer, up close and more personal.

Nice show, s bit long for none German speaking, as the main commentor speaks a lot in German, and funny by most of the crowd, but the English commentor was very brief, so we probably missed a lot.

The best falconry experience. They breed and care of many raptors, in perfect conditions. Excellent exibitions, perfect staff, a very good restaurant, a wonderful location... You MUST go and visit it!

Great place for watching those animals only few meters away. When it’s sunny weather, don’t forget the hat. During the show you will definitely need it.

‏beautiful place, and very interesting all the stuff about beards. I was there in a show and suddenly just came an eagle out of nowhere, and they took him to be one of the beards in the show, that was beautiful, go for it

Not for sunny and hot weather. There is no shadow, since you wouldt see the birds and they would land in the roof. ... it can get really hot.Otherwice, wery good show, maybe more english ... but all in all, I would very recomended it.

Very informative and entertaining show off birds of prey. One of the most popular tourist attractions in Carinthia.

This is an absolute MUST to stop by when here around. The show is awesome for both adult as well as kids (mine was 6)!Very interesting information is given while the show is going on but there is no moment when the kids get bored as the hawks, eagles and others are around the heads of the visitors!

Show is nice and the birds are amazing.But they are speaking only in their language and i didnt understand and learn anything..they should also speak at least in English so you dont just watch the birds but you also learn something about them and the show.

Lovely bird show. They at least make you believe they dont force the birds into doing tricks. Great surroundings to see those birds fly!
