Less than 1 star. For sideshow cinema tickets, it didnt say exactly location even no postcode when i purchase tickets 4days ago. Finally they showed location is located in Loxton and takes 3hours from CBD.If they showed the location when I bought the tickets I wouldnt buy them!Waiting for 30mins to talk to call centre.. the answer is there is no refund for this case...The price is not high for these tickets but feeling like what is different from scam....Must be there are bunch of good stuff for Fringe fest, but I am not happy for customer service. Dont buy the tickets for Fringe fest when they dont post location.

Hugh Sheridan “My Way 2022”Totally disappointed $59 per ticket ( no discountsfor 1 hour EXACTLY.Unfortunately Hugh was totally unprofessional & oblivious to his audience. His band saved him & really we paid to see Hugh not some other act who he bought along. Not worth it!!

Went there last Sunday night, the security entrance staff have some serious training issues.Beside having attitude, some of them are far away of even being civilised!! (One of them arrested the night before for assaulting a young teenager, heard from news later). This is ridiculous, as a customer you have to receive a good customer service but here we are talking about facing some uncivilised people working as security staff 🤦🏻Never go there again, also feel very sorry for small business working there and struggling to survived after covid restrictions smash them and now these guys.

It’s always a flamboyant event to visit. The crowd, music, lights and drinks make the time there worth it. You can enjoy as you like. You can go to rides or experience different activities. The foods and drinks are a but pricy but we all go there to have fun right.

Less than 1 star if you want a refund. I have booked several shows before I found out I had a conflicting event. The response was "you have not met the requirements and therefore are not eligible for a refund", despite being a member and generous supporter.

It is an absolute joke that the Fringe Festival ends up with perfect conditions in the Covid Restrictions with 75% OUTDOOR capacity and standing consumption OUTDOORS, while the rest of us in the hospitality industry are shafted by Steve Marshall; mate you should be ashamed of yourself.Hospitality has received the strictest and harshest restrictions all through covid, and Fringe gets away with minimal and ideal restrictions. If it’s good for the goose it should be good for the gander!

The Sheeple will rejoice at the Fringe next year in the safety of their Vaxx Passport. Good on them. I hope they have a great time wearing their, masks, social distancing and being herded and treated like sheep. God help the artists who simply want to earn a living in such a tyrannical atmosphere.

Booked an event but when we were sent our E-Tickets they were for the wrong date. Completely unhelpful "customer service" who stated a cancellation needs to be before 48 hours as is policy... but they sent the E-Tickets only 24 hours before... now Im no maths genius but that doesnt quite work out does it, theres a missing 24 hours somewhere!"Customer service" also unwilling to move the date to the one we originally wanted which was available too.Made up policies that dont work with the companies procedures, if theyd have sent the tickets 48 hours before the event we obviously would have resolved it... its almost like its designed that way right...Its a shame as the event we booked 1looked really good, 2as we cant attend and given the short time until it start its unlikely well be able to give these tickets away in time, so someone who could have attended wont be able to and 3Fringe refused to sell our places away at the door, despite the high chance that they could have done, again their made up policies prevented them from doing so.All-in-all unhelpful with a typical cant be arsed attitude, its a shame that the public and the artists have to put up with this second-rate, lazy attitude towards hosting events, for the second largest of its type in the World I expected a lot better. We wont be wasting our money in the future.

(Review mainly for 2021 Fringe)Year after year, the Fringe provides our small city of Adelaide with a huge burst of creativity, passion, colour, happiness and love. Even with the overbearing shadow of Covid, the staff and organisers have managed to retain the magic and sensory bending vibes of this event in a way that can only be commended.Whether you love comedy, magic, live drama, acrobatics or just want to get out of the house on a boring Wednesday arvo, this event provides something for all but the grumpiest of people. Kids are catered for in many areas as well, and there are shows rated G and PG13 too. Prices for shows remain cheap, starting as low as $10AUD and reaching up to $50AUD for international acts that usually charge double that amount outside of Fringe.Feeling peckish? With two giant areas in the Garden of Unearthly Delights and also Gluttony, youd be hard pressed to not find something to suit your taste buds. A huge number of local places have been included in 2021, showcasing the states amazing ability to produce all manner of cuisines at a high quality and with a smile. Plenty of food for the little ones too with many of the outlets carrying a childrens menu as well.Booze is not to be forgotten either with plenty to be found within the two main areas. Even better has been the decision to bring more shows out into the local city areas, with a number of pubs and bars playing host to shows. This gives you the perfect excuse for some bar hopping up Rundle St as you soak in the entertainment around you. The only gripe I would have is, despite the states incredible and diverse offerings for liquor, theres still a bit of a lack of local breweries/distilleries operating within the grounds. If you havent been to the Fringe in Adelaide yet, youre really dropping the ball champion. Get in ya motorised transport of choice and get amongst it!

The only negative things I can say about the fringe is that its very busy and that its hard to choose from all the shows available.Public transport is fine but it depends where you live and what time youre going. Parking is hard to get near the east side but if you park further south such as near hutt street and south terrace there are heaps of parks available. About a 10-15min walk from the main venues and parking is free on weekends and after 6pm during the week.Lots of shows, the bigger ones are likely to be good because they have to be! The smaller ones are swing-and-miss sometimes but it is worth going to a few to support real fringe artists and vagabonds. If you dont want to see any shows just go for a wander and look at some street art/street performers. As for food avoid the garden/gluttony as it is overpriced with long wait times. Support a local restaurant instead.

Thoroughly enjoyed the magic show of the Extraordinary Guests of the Hotel Richmond. You get up close and personal to the performers and get to make comments and ask questions and still wonder how they do what they do. They deserve a bigger.audience. Please go and then spread the word.

One of major events in Adelaide. Offers Amusement Park rides, performances, shows, food, drinks and alcohol. A major tourist draw.Has great atmosphere and one can chill to soak it in. Best to avoid driving during evening hours. Weekdays tend to be less crowded.

Google map confused Gluttony (Rymill Park/Mullawirraburka, Corner of East Terrace and Rundle Rd, Adelaide, SA, 5000with this place (136 Frome st). Sad to say Ive lived in Adelaide for a couple of years and still went to the wrong location and missed the show. Should the names of the Fringe venues are more distinguished for people who are new to Adelaide let alone international/state people.

I saw Tom Gleeson at the Fringe last night and was terribly disappointed. He used vulnerable members of our society (people with disabilities and those who have been abusedas material for his humour and when questioned by the audience he berated them. Would he be so quick to make fun of vulnerable individuals if the shoe was on the other foot.

My wife and I attended the show on Friday 1st March as a surprise for my birthday on 28/Feb, we had a great time with all the cast members acting and getting the patrons involved. The food was well presented and just enough but the highlight of the show was the detail that went into the characters, with the person acting the role of Basil as tall as the original John Cleese and Sybil had the voice down to pat and controlling the whole night but the man who played Manuel had us in stitches with his misinterpretations of the English Language. Thanks to all involved for a fun night would recommend this show to any FAULTY TOWERS fans but dont ask for the fish as we are assured that on the night it will be definitely OFF.

We loved our afternoon at the Fringe! We saw Le Petit Circus and Splash Test Dummies. They were perfect for my two 6 and two 8 year olds, and the 8 year olds in particular loved the interaction in the Splash Test Dummies show. The older two werent as in love with Le Petit Circus as they were last year, but the younger two still loved it - so Id recommend ages 7 and under for that one :Also keep in mind that you cant get food in the Garden until 5, so make sure you pack some snacks!

What did I think if the Fringe night market...instead of just getting off the train and the Fringe was there we had to walk miles a hard call for some if the older people who I saw struggling and the ones with little kids..there was a whole parkland but everything was jammed in one corner so we had thousands of people trying to work their way through the crowds. The market stalls were in a dust pit the shows preview was on a tiny little stage so cramped and only a minor amount of people could see anything we waited an hour and half for the light show which consisted of and emu kangaroo jabaru lit by gas flames and some water feature you all probably see if you were a giraffe the bars were so noisy and packed out it was like a front bar of a pup not a relaxing beer or wine on the river.. last year it was 100 percent this year 5 percent for Hans the German and listening to the conversations of people around us while we were waiting for the so called light show we all felt the same...so funny every one was waiting for the light show and after it finished which consisted of turning on the gas bottles everyone was still waiting everyone was saying is that it...lol

We saw Josh Glance at the 2018 Adelaide fringe at Pinkey Flat. Very exciting excruciating theatre under development, in a not so big tent.Only sit in the front row if you are an extrovert and like getting up on stage.Fringe food and drink setups all worked very well. Boys dunnies were pretty agricultural.Probably not a good idea to take the kids unless they are very mature.

***WARNING - IF YOU HAVE NOT GONE TO THE FRINGE, I SUGGEST YOU DONT***My partner and I had booked our first ever show last night for the Fringe - our first ever! BAZINGA! Nerdlseque Nights. The email you receive is their typical generic email. They claim they can send you the tickets via post, but whilst booking, that was not an option. OK, so pick up it is. DO NOT DO THIS IF YOU CAN HELP IT UNLESS YOURE WILLING TO SPEND HOURS RESEARCHING LIKE WE UNFORTUNATELY DID NOT KNOW ABOUT ONLY TO BE SCREWED AROUND.Google maps - when clicking on the supposed location of the event - took us to a building between Worsnop Ave and Dawkins Pl. The email said "please collect your tickets from the box office venue" - no problem, we thought, until we got there - under the assumption this is where the show was playing, as thats where it showed on the map itself when looking at the show itself. The link supposedly showing where the performance was, had send us to their head office, which did have a collection point. Oh! But they forgot to mention that they shut at 5pm! We were there half an hour to 15 minutes before our show. And do you think the email had that information? Nope.Oh, it gets better though! Rang my parents - Im on the verge of a panic attack here (the people, lights, traffic, noise...I remember why I hate the city so much now...I was sweating profusely, my heart was pounding in my chest, and I was short of breathe. Not only that, but I was so pissed off because at this point in time we couldnt find the "venue". - so talking to my parents, finally figured out that was the collection point. Hang up. A few minutes later, parents ring back...they told me they closed at 5pm and the venue was 15 minutes from where we were...by this time, the performance would have been half way through, oh plus we didnt have the tickets so what was the point? However, if there was a box office to collect tickets from there, we had no idea because they didnt provide the Goddamn location of the show in the first place! So a very upset me and my partner walked back to the car and drove off. Not. Happy. Jan!Ive now also discovered that - SURPRISE - they dont give refunds for YOUR OWN MISTAKES. Excuse me? How about you change that to YOUR INCOMPETENCE TO PROVIDE THE CORRECT INFORMATION. Because YOU provide so little information, that we were running around like headless chooks! We have a show today as a family, and are now worried we may get the same run around. We better not, and Im hoping I get an email back rectifying the issue - either via moving the dates or giving me a refund.Im not happy in the slightest. A very negative experience. After this show today, I will NEVER be going to the Fringe ever again. Very, very disappointed. So a warning to you all, dont bother with the Fringe. Waste of time, waste of money. Unless you enjoy being given the run around, this is the activity for you!I expect a response from you, Fringe, regarding my email. I want this rectified. I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks.

Billed as a "Family Event" my father recalls seeing a giant dildo float during the parade one year. More recently they had a male transvestite mascot, complete in womens burlesque laundre. Another year they held an event called , "Come heckle Christ". Dont believe the "...suitable for kids" tagline.

What Would Spock Do was a really entertaining and highly enjoyable show. Gary Thompson was very engaging in the role speaking for a variety of people with authenticity, and the storyline was both interesting and able to be related to. The use of audio was sufficient without being overdone.I really enjoyed the show and highly recommend it.AdditionallyI had never been in the White Queen Theatre before. Adelaide continues to surprise me with hidden gems and experiences

We struck gold with "Take Five - The Dave Brubeck Story". Four brilliant musicians blended beautifully to play some fantastic jazz. Visuals on a screen behind the musicians were also excellent.A "must see" for all jazz enthusiasts. The best show at the Fringe by a mile. Congratulations to the Brendan Fitzgerald Quartet and thanks for a memorable evening.
