Alemdar, Yerebatan Cd. No:37, 34110 Fatih/İstanbul, Turkey, Istanbul
Overlooking the nearby Hagia Sophia, this upscale hotel in a 1905 building is a 7-minute walk from the Sultan Ahmed Mosque and 3.1 km from Taksim Square.Featuring colorful decor, wood floors, and unique wall murals, the striking rooms offer free Wi-Fi, satellite TV and minibars. Upgraded rooms have 4-poster beds. Room service is available 24/7.A breakfast buffet is included. Additional amenities consist of a chic lobby bar, and a polished Turkish restaurant with striking, panoramic views.
Stayed here for two nights and enjoyed it. Hotel staff upgraded our room to a nicer one. It was very cozy and clean. This is a high rise building and our room was towards the top. I was shocked to see when you open the large windows there is no netting. Someone, especially a child, can easily open this and fall. The breakfast was pretty good and the dining area had an amazing view. The staff was very nice and helpful. They remembered to arrange a taxi for us when leaving at 3 in the morning even though we mentioned it when we first checked in.
After a long, beautiful but overwhelming day. We escaped to the rooftop restaurant just in time to catch the sunset. We planned on just a couple of drinks to decompress. We stayed for the friendly atmosphere and absolutely amazing Risotto and Seabass. The staff was amazing and Ilhami Murat was a most gracious host.
I was really impressed with this hotel on so many levels!1You CAN’T beat the location! 2 min walk to Sophia & Blue Mosques, 10 min walk to Grand Bazar, surrounded by restaurants and a taxi is always available up front.2The rooftop restaurant where you will have a breakfast and you should have dinner has an incredible panoramic view and really good food!3The rooms are exactly as advertised, or at least my room 104 was- small but in a really nice Turkish theme, with a great shower, fridge, vault and AIR CONDITION that was a life safer as I was going back to my room to cool of during the day.4The people working there are wonderful, always smiling, helpful and overall very friendly.
Adamar not only has spectacular views but also amazing service! Staff are very friendly and helpful. You cannot go wrong with this hotel, it is close to all istanbul attractions and their rooms are very hygiene.Thank you Ilhan and Murat bey for your friendly hospitality.
Absolutely an amazing hotel with spectacular views. The panoramic restaurant upstairs has amazing food with staff who are very attentive and friendly, especially Murat bey who is upstairs in the restaurant and Ilhan bey who is at front reception . Will recommend this hotel.
Rooms were very clean Service was excellent
Very cosy hotel, super friendly stuff, modern rooms and fantastic view.I love it and will come back!Thank you so much!
I had very bad experience at this hotel. What u booked . U will not get it. What u see photos at advising this is at least 10 years old pictures. Room is like clubhotel for 2 hours stay place not for over nite . They only have good thing breakfast place nice. Other then forget about it . After stay over nite we wanna get out. We get free transfer from airport so when we told them everthing very bad we want to get out and they charge us double price for tranfer fee good luch who stay there
Very good location.Amazing and helpful staff specially Senol.Definitely would like to stay here again.
Needs a bit of an upgrade but phenomenal customer service and location. They have a panoramic restaurant where you can see Bosphorus strait, Hagia Sophia, The Blue Mosque etc. Also, MUST try the restaurant across the street from the hotel called Otantik Kebab ❤️❤️❤️💯
Nice place local to Hagia Sofiia & Blue Mosque
Had wonderful experienceFrom reception to house keeping all the staff members were caring and friendlyI gave 5 ⭐
Everyone was welcoming, the staff were extremely helpful. They were extremely accommodating when our flight was brought forward by a day
Good room. Great breakfast view. Friendly staff
Very good hotel!!! In the center of the city and with a very good view from the rooftop terrace.
Best hotel very nice staff front dest people very cordial and welcoming. Amazing view fron Rooftop.
Super nice terrasseDinner at the top is a mustStaff vert nice. Good serviceFood just okBut the view is perfect
We only ate at the restaurant, but the restaurant was the most one of the most beautiful and romantic venues my wife and I have been to. The view from the restaurant on the roof was incredible! One of the best Ive seen in Istanbul, especially when the Ayasofya mosque lit up in the evening. The music was perfect and romantic, the staff was really friendly and entertaining, the food and drinks were SUPER quality. I highly recommend this place if you want to have a romantic dinner, or a beautiful view, or eat at an amazing restaurant. The restaurant gave my wife and I an absolutely 10 out of 5 star experience. I hope to come back before we leave.
I stayed in this hotel for about 16 days and i enjoyed everyday of it. The staff is very friendly and very professional. They helped me with everything I needed help with and they make you feel like ur at home. I definitely recommend this hotel. I don’t think any place can beat the service they provide here
Amazing friendly staff and a great location too. With easy access to public transportation and access to most touristic attractions. Breakfast and dinnee is also amazing. Definitely staying here again in the future.
Booked this hotel after seeing positive reviews Ans it turns out to be the worst stays so far. This is my room, can you believe it? And they are too dumb to even change it. Everything is priced at twice the normal. Only positive thing is their breakfast. Please do not book this and see other options around available at much better prices with unbroken walls in your room.
Excellent location - the Basilica Cistern is literally down the street and the Blue Mosque + Haga Sophia are at the end of that street.Rooms are presented well and have heat pumps to cool off after a hot day outside, but lean towards the smaller side of things. We got a very small room for our first night, but then got upgraded to a family suite which was much better. Actually getting sleep is fine, though. Service is very friendly and helpful; laundry is typically expensive however. The best part besides location was the views you get for breakfast; you can see both the Haga Sophia and Blue Mosque from the rooftop restaurant. Superb to see at sunrise!
The hotel is beautiful. Perfect location. Most of the must see sites of Istanbul are within walking distance. The staff are pleasant and extremely patient and helpful with all queries. Would definitely recommend.
Lovely hotel, right in the centre of all the tourist attractions. 5 min walking distance to most of the attractions. Staff are lovely and go out of their way to help.Breakfast in the rooftop is beautiful and amazing view of Istanbul! The restaurant there has a really nice a lá carte menu, and the views from it at night time are spectacular!
We booked a family room. Small bathroom. Ineffective ac. The room is not spacious. Breakfast starts at 8 which is late for the ones who has things to do early, if it starts at 7:30this will be better. Receptionist are very kind. Overall not bad
This is an extraordinary hotel in the Old Town district. We enjoyed a charming corner room with windows looking down to the colorful street below that let us take in all of the ambiance of the area. The service was truly professional and personalized as well. The Terrace Restaurant provides memorable views and delicious meals. We enjoyed a moonlit dinner looking out to the beautiful lights of the city. We hope to return on our next trip to Istanbul.
Best location in Istanbul Old Town, also have greatest view in roof restaurant, nice reception with passion explanation, everything in Adamar is great. Never miss the roof view, if you stay in other hotel, I also suggest you to have a drink in the roof restaurant, enjoy the trip.
Good location, convenient for sightseeing, breakfast is ok, at least you wont go hungry, but the rooms were quite small. For a family of 4 adults, we were given a room for 3 people. Most of the rooms are small. Not really recommended.
Amazing view from the roof top terrace and the dining room which is the top floor of the hotel. The rooms are new and good sized. Good modern bathroom that look and feel like its newly remodeled. The hotel is also close proximity to all the important old town sites. Reasonably priced too.
Pros:Stayed here for 12 nights. Great location in sultanahmet area close to historical attractions. Room was clean and air conditioned. Staff were nice and helpful giving us tips on where to go, what to see. They even loaned me their istanbulkart for public transit. Housekeeping services were excellent. Breakfast included was good. The real highlight was the amazing rooftop panoramic view of the city.Cons:Rooftop restaurant food was not good and expensive. There are much better food options around the area. Elevator was super tiny (max 4 people), was hot inside and slow depending on demand (6 floors). Lobby and hallways were not airconditioned.Overall, would stay again in a heartbeat.
The hotel was in the old city centre, close to the Hagya Sophia, the Blue Mosque and many other cultural attractions, rooms were clean, staff extremely polite and friendly, the shower had some minor issues but it was an awesome room with a huge king-size bed. Breakfast was awesome with a big variety of food, and in the top floor with a stunning panoramic view of Sultanahmet which is worth visiting because its breathtaking.
I would definitely recommend this hotel. Its a 5 min walk (or lessto Hagia Sofia and the Blue mosque. The rooftop restaurant has an amazing view of both. Rooms are nice and beds are comfortable. Concierge staff is very friendly and helpful. Really good location and great hotel overall.
GREAT location. You will not be disappointed by the location. Staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. They orchestrated our travel to and from the hotel. On our way to the airport, they called our cab back to the hotel because I forgot my wallet in the safe (silly me). Breakfast was great. Great options for both hot and cold breakfast. Tea and omelettes are available upon request.Highly recommended and would definitely stay there again.
