Adachi - Japanese restaurant in Kampong Spoe, Cambodia
Fresh food, good taste, service & clean.
Adachi Japanese Restaurant. Hands down and undebatably the best Japanese restaurant in town, especially in terms of their base broth, ponzu sauce, and fresh sashimi. Plus the most experienced Japanese chef in town. For the quality, the price is very reasonable. Their course menu starts from 48usd which is a steal. The recent unbelievably expensive Omakase restaurants are most of the time just a joke. First of all, Omakase just means up to the chef, and in all occasions in Cambodia, it just means a set course menu, and most places are just charging too high. Adachis dishes using their broth or original sauces and sashimi is at the same level of a best restaurant in town in Japan and at a similar price range. Absolutely recommended
Food is fresh and delicious
Blown away by the quality and sophistication of the dishes. Had the yellowtail and daikon, the fish meat was fluffy but not dry. Every bite was flavourful and you start thinking about the wisdom that was poured into preparing this dish. The chawamushi was another home run. The complex layers of flavours and smokiness redefined how chawamushi could taste like.My only gripe was that this place serves "whale bacon".
Always great food and service. A must try would be the eel rice and anything uni!
One of my japanese food! Always keep the same quality
Entered an absolutely empty restaurant alone at 8.20pm. Told the staff I would be happy to sit at the (emptycounter to have dinner. "No, cannot, we want to close the counter by 9 sharp". "Very well", I replied "I might take a leave in that case". And no one seemed to care. Never experienced this level of carelessness before. Its truly a first. Losing returning customers and being happy about it.
Good location , good taste! Like it, recommended!
a great Japanese restaurant and the food is very goo! the Price of food was a little bit higher than other similar restaurant.
This place is very bomb! I have tried Japanese cuisine from other restaurants but this one is the best so far! The price might be expensive but this restaurant provides real Japanese dishes!
experiences of quality Japanese foods in private environment? here is a good choice. booking in advance ix recommended.
I think the quantity is less than before, perhaps due to the effects of inflation. With this level of satisfaction for the price, I will not be returning. The price is too high.
Best sushi in town
Very reasonable and very good taste for every dishes.Sashimi is very fresh and they use authentic method for dashi and other things. They have many vip room and service is stable and good.
One of the few Japanese restaurants I really enjoy: good quality of seafood, lunch set and a la carte menu. Good for a quick lunch with a friend and for a special occasion.Highly recommend. Just a few pictures for the reference.
This restaurant serves very delicious food.I think it is one of the best Japanese restaurant in town.Staffs are also very kind.
Food is fresh & nice but bit disappointed with the unagi sushi rice was bit warm and the rice was bit overcooked soft (my first ever). The tempura was perfectly done with umami salt at side (something special), lotus fried dumpling too is new to me. Price at the higher side, servicing can be better by offering hot tea once seated, dont see many customers but service not that attentive..3.5stars
Food is good, have nice private room, good service but but pricy
Food is really nice and fresh. Absolutely, price is according to th high quality & freshness.
Quality is consistent and service is okay. Love their mixed sashimi , their tuna belly , tuna belly roll and salmon head. Highly recommend!
Fresh sashimi, tasty sushi and tempura, love their cold udon! I wish they have cold soba tho... Price is on the higher side, but you wont be disappointed.
The food was fresh but the portion sizes are small and more expensive than most similar places Japan. Its not a good place for shared dishes because there is nothing to share. The wait staff do not know the menu well and brought the wrong dish three times but they were hopelessly lost so we didnt bother trying to correct it. Overall its a popular place with fresh well-prepared food but underserviced and overpriced.
Food is good. The staffs is Very noisy. Shouting at each other. Blaming each other. Not polite. Talk loudly while customer is inside
Fast service but very noisy. Unlike other Japanese restaurants, I feel like I was eating at a crowded market. The staffs were constantly shouting the orders and chatting. Not a a high-class Japanese environment you think you can get here.
It was Ok, nothing special, food was fresh, service friendly, but a fraction too expensive. Value for money! 6/10...
This is good and clean restaurant that provides delicious japenese foods and drink in town.
wow , best of the best food. sashimi is well taken care of.
Good quality of food, good service, good atmosphere
Scores high in all the right areas... service, ambience and truly good sushi.
Got invited to come here for a birthday party. Very good environment, staff were very helpful and friendly. The price is definitely up there, to me for the money you can find it somewhere else. Tasted good but can’t justify with price.
I am quite a frequent customer here. Normally walk 20 minutes from my workplace to the restaurant for lunch or dinner. It was so far my favorite Japanese restaurant here. But my last trip felt like a betrayal. I ordered a special lunch set of a salmon rice in a hotpot. The order came out with just the rice hotpot without a lunch set. The person who took the order tried to justify her order taking, which I am not interested in arguing with. I asked her to talk to her management to see if the order could be corrected because simply there was no change in dish, theres just need to be additional food items, which I was happy to pay extra for. Whatever they brought to me didnt need to brought back. It was already part of the lunch set menu. The management refused to provide the adjustment. For that, I felt like a betrayal. I consider myself their loyal customer. I didnt ask them to change the food. I only asked them to add additional food items and I would be paying extra for that. For them to refuse to that, I felt like that would be my last trip.
Feeling real Japanese food we can enjoyMy favorite is Buri Daikon as fantastic taste
Nothing special. Price too high for the quality. Should admit that the service is very good. Will not come back. With the variety of Japanese restaurants in Phnom Penh, Adachi is not on my list.
Upscale Omakase style Japanese restaurant. Inaniwa Udon is a must to try. Pricey but worth your money.
Japanese-style decorfresh food, just the right amount! The price is a bit high, but acceptable!Recommendation: salmon head!Cons: The waiter speaks loudly
Here is most delicious japanese restaurant in Phnom Penh.Especially SASHIMI is very fresh and good.We ordered various dishes. Some dishes are delicious others bare normal.I think that they are good at cooking simple taste as ingredients.Highly recommend this restaurant if you want to eat japanese food.
The adachi gave me the fantastic experience in cambodia. All of the dish was the high quality.
Fantastic service and great Japanese food. Without a doubt, one of the top Japanese restaurants in Phnom Penh.
Very bad experience, bad service, normal food, and expensive price. I dont recommend this restaurant unless you have too much money.Theres a strong waitress services with bad mood and bad attitude, forgot out dessert order and murmured in front of us. This experience is couldnt be any worst.
Great Japanese foods, friendly staffs and good atmosphere.
Excellent food, service and ambience. Perfect for a quiet private meal. Top quality sushi and sashimi. Also highly recommend the tonkatsu.
I am loving this restaurant! Should have try them out faster. I ordered Sushi, Makarel grilled, cold soba, and green tea, they all taste amazing. The foods and service are nice! It might be a little pricey but it worth the quality of the food, I’m my opinion. I highly recommend! 👍🏻🥰
Excellent place! Best Japanese restaurant in Phnom Penh. Loved it and highly recommend anyone who wants to have the best quality food!
Im happy to eat in this restaurant. Im Japanese, and I dont eat high quality japanese food like this restaurant. In addition, these food is reasonable. So, I suggest eating to everyone.
I wondered it is really Japan? their atmosphere and food taste is real Japan. fresh seafood ,delicious sushi, I enjoyed very tasty Japanese food in Adachi
Adachi is the best if not one of the best Japanese restaurants in Phnom Penh. The place has all the best ingredients and the chef is great. The staff are also great. What else is there to say about this place. The place is quite pricey though but it is the price you are going to have to pay for an experience this good. I recommend the sashimi if u dont know what to order and yeah the rest is for you to decide.
Sometime, only the beautiful set up and the friendliness of a restaurant are not enough to make clients coming again. Adachi is a nice & friendly place. But what it porposes are really expensive when we compare with other Japanese restaurants availalbe in Phnom Penh. Moreover, there arent much varieties in the menu.
Authentic Japanese food with Japanese speaking waitress. Food is okay.. price is similar to other Japanese restaurant. Private room which is good for meeting.
a bit pricy but worth spending there..more choices and fresh sashimi and great sake and wine selection
Best Japanese restaurant in Phnom Penh. Very fresh, delicious, recherche, authentic Japanese cusine is worth trying, if you like Japanese food.
