Great food, good prices but they have a very big problem with the space. All the tables are so close to each other that you can literally touch everybody without making an effort!

Un local cu specific turcesc. Foarte drăguț amenajat. Mi-ar fii plăcut sa simt mai mult din aerul de odinioară din vechea Ada-Kaleh. Mâncarea bună. Recomand pida cu brânzeturi.!

Mancare delicioasa si oameni foarte prietenosi. Un loc deosebit care ne invata o lectie de istorie mai putin cunoscuta.

Није могло да се плати картицом па сам морао еврима. Солидна порција оброка и салате. Може и боље.

Locatie la care am revenit cu mult drag , anii trecuti cand am ajuns in zona fiind inchisa . M-a bucurat faptul ca a fost redeschisa , cafeaua la nisip a fost ...... cum trebuie sa fie , limonada turceasca la fel . Mancarea la prima vedere scumpa dar foarte gustoasa si suficienta cantitativ . Dupa prospectarea zonei , pe la terasele de langa , am constatat cu stupoare dar si cu placere ca preturile sunt printre cele mai mici ale zonei .

Ada-Kaleh is a really nice café in central Turnu Severin, where hands down, I had the best baklava from all the many Turkish-specific places I have been to along the years.The other Turkish specialities were also great, delights, coffee, tea, Braga, Turkish Lemonade and Salep, the latter being a very pleasant surprise, never having tried it before. Not sure whether the Salep was made of genuine orchid flour, but it tasted great anyway.Been to Ada-Kaleh twice because of the amazing Turkish sweets and surely will return the 3rd time as well, next time when in Severin.

O locație superba unde se poate manca excelent, bineanteles preparate turcesti și se poate bea braga și cafea făcută la nisip. Am venit la aceasta locație trimiși de ghida de la Muzeul Porțile de Fier care ne-a recomandat, cafeaua la nisip dar odată ajunși am descoperit și minunata bucatarie turceasca. A fost super frumos si nu am regretat ca am venit aici!

Ada Kaleh este o insula plina de romantism cu miros de pisat și clor din timpuri memoriale încă cad spărgeam telefoane cu fise împreună cu Colegul meu Manu, studenți integraliști mai puțin eu la analiza matematica că n-am reușit în viața mea sa termin o integrala. Așa și el era, eu pe gânduri și a venit Manu cu șperaclu și burete și vorbeam la telefoane prin oraș și seara beam rom fabricat in cada de la Ada Kaleh. In prezent locul este adus la cerințele vremii pentru multiculturalitatea Severinului. Au și cafea la nisip, specialități turcești, coniac Jidvei foarte bun, televizor pe canal de sport și Coca Cola. Lume pestriță.

Locație oarecum aparte datorită amenajării interioare, cu parfum de Orient. Curățenie și amabilitate dar servirea oarecum greoaie. Poate se gătește mai încet sish kebap, nu știu (prima dată când am mâncat așa ceva). Senzații noi🙂: mâncarea și braga, bune după gustul nostru.

The place is unique in this area and probably in the country, inspired by Ada Kaleh Turkish Island, flooded during communist times. The menu is diverse, with different dishes which are interesting adaptation of Turkish dishes you can get in Romania - very different from what we had in Dobrogea, Bucharest or even Istanbul. The dishes are good, though, even if you should not expect the regular durum, suberek or kebab. The kebab came with wedges potatoes, sour cream with garlic and it was in fact some sort of ghiudem sausage mid maturation. The durum has minced meat actually, fried in oil, and then the tasty dough is baked and it comes with our regional pickles. They have ayran and Braga, great. Service is ok, prices are mid and value for price is quite high.

Amazing place! Really good food, all the freshly squeezed juices are amazing, they also have different types of lemonade and a refreshing traditional drink: Braga. For desert, they have the best Papanasi in town! 5⭐️ for everything from food to interior design to atmosphere and kindness!
