Acuario Michin - Aquarium in Zapopan, Mexico
Cute aquarium with lots of different land and ocean animals. You also get a complimentary drink with a basic ticket!
Very nice and well organized place
A pretty enjoyable experience. Theres a wide range of animals and some interactivity available. Theres a play zone for kids. And food and drinks available at the pavilion.
Clean, so many species, shark tank is awesome and outside farm is cute. And food court with ice ream and beer its the cherry on top.
Needs a better dynamic for strollers, wheelchair ♿️, etc. It has a underground parking lot with NO elevator. You have to use the cars exit ramp to go up. Inside, there is an elevator 🛗 but we were not able to find the accessible exit, we walked all the way back and exited using the main entrance.
A really good aquarium! So many different animals and fish. Really clean and well presented. We fed the goats and the birds. The sharks were huge! Very impressive a good day out
The staff here are nice keep the place clean around the grounds as well as the restroom and around the park my granddaughter had a great time.
Great place to visit with your family !!
Nice experience, hopefully species are treated well
The fish tanks are not maintained. Some have excessive lime.
Great place to spend the day with family!
Great place, if you want to submerge yourself into the ocean adventure you must visit this place
Has a lot of interactive experiences. Highly recommended for families.
Super fun place to come over!! I bring my family, we really enjoyed
Wonderful place to take the kids. The lids lived the opportunity of feeding the birds.
Great place for kids for a late afternoon, as it comes with many activities plus food and ice cream available.
Very nice aquarium. Everything is clean and well kept. Ticket included access to mostly everything except “petting zoo”.
Great place to go with little ones and the whole family. We went through the whole museum and there was never a dull moment. The ticket or pass to enter includes a drink and time to visit the goats, the kids ticket also includes the drink and free use of bubble station, sand pit and scooters. Our tickets also included the entertainment area which had indoor trampolines and laser tag. My favorite part was seeing the many axolotes.
Great place to visit with kids, the only but is that food and drink lines get very large at some hours, but food is good too
Very cleanBeautiful place to bring kids small but lots of animals and fishes
Many emotions. Great place to visit with friends or family (children)
This aquarium is rather pleasant and full of colorful fish and birds. It is also not very crowded and easy to navigate. They even have some axolotl here, which are rather rare to find elsewhere!
Disappointing for adults. Its a normal aquarium, nothing special about it. Some young kids seemed pleased, but for adults its not really worth it. The tanks are quite small for the size and quantity of fishes and so they dont grow at their full length. There is a place to feed small colorful birds outside and young kids seemed to enjoy it.
Hardly anyone there. Great exhibits and you can feed the birds out of your hand.
Complete disappointment.go there if you really have nothing else to do.might entertain your children for a couple hours.you call this an aquarium? go to Lisbon and see what an aquarium looks like.Murky waters. Tanks need lots of cleaning.Guides are useless. No English spoken. All explanations about species in Spanish.what a shame
Great place but a little expensive for my opinion, they dont have discount for kids nor aged people.
Lovely place, very fun!
Great place to visit with kids, the little ones will enjoy it, reasonable price of admission, the food court no so good.Animals in captivity seem under good treatment, so its a good experience.
If I could give less than a one star I would. We left two very expensive umbrellas at their front desk with a ticket to get them back before leaving.Upon leaving we forgot them. But hey they, are an established business with cameras. Why would we be concerned we would get them back. After 2 days. It wasn’t 10 or 30 days.Well, we were wrong. Not only did they only have one umbrella they couldn’t account for the other one. They left us sitting, waiting. And I don’t want to believe a staff member walked off with it. But…they are the only ones that had access to them. This is a poor experience to say it mildly. What if it was my fiancé’s purse or something. If you have anything valuable don’t leave it at the front desk. Which you pay for by the way.Apparently this family oriented business is run by unethical youngsters that have no real control over getting answers when things get lost.Great place to visit but bad place to trust with your things thinking they will be safe.People can STEAL your items and no one knows anything.A huge thumbs down. After waiting spoke with Pedro, it’s Monday. They said they will have answer Thursday 7/22/21. I will update this then. To let you all know the credibility of this facility.****************It is 7/22/21 and I just met with Pedro E. He was the only one who did what his job title required. He got our umbrella back from whomever felt it was cool to take. They have redeemed themselves and my once 1 star rating has been changed to 4 stars.
It would be 5 stars if there was one single sign, map or employee that spoke English. Extremely frustrating as a tourist and good luck finding your way out! Shocking for a mainstream city. Aside from that, its an awesome place to visit and the bird experience is not to be missed!
Too expensive for what it is. Quite small. Good for kids.
Wow this is the best Aquarium Ive ever been too 😀 On top of all the beautiful fish and critters, you are able to feed the fish outside, feed the birds in the atrium, feed and pet goats, and feed the sting rays. It was so much fun and educational. Definitely a must visit.
This is so much more than just an aquarium! For 220 pesos you get to see lots of aquatic life with some interactive exhibits, feed birds in an aviary, feed and pet goats in a small petting zoo (all animal food included), plus access to a room full of trampolines and laser tag! Definitely worth a trip!
Its a very nice place to visit. The animals are used to visitors so they get close enough for you to take pictures or videos. There are so many animals to look at and its all so welcoming. You can feed the goats and they dont bite. You can also feed the birds and parrots.I wouldnt recommended the food much. Other than that, visiting the aquarium is a MUST.
Simply incredible. Want to see axolotls, sharks, eels, rays, unicorn fish, sea otters, and everything in between up close? Want state-of-the-art infographics, giant overhead saltwater tanks, and fish nibbling the dead skin off your fingers? Maybe some laser tag and swimming with sharks to boot? Go here, for only $220 MXN. Plan on spending at least a few hours here. Incredible!
This place was amazing. It was $250 MXN or $13 US dollars. It has a great selection . It has a small petting zoo for kids and small aviario where you can hand feed parakeets. It has a good selection of fish, rays, sea horses and couple of sharks. The only CON is there’s no place to sit in between the exhibits, perhaps due to COVID sanitary restrictions. It’s hard to keep walking if you are handicapped.
So much to do, great price, reccomend asking when feeding times of manta rays are we luckily walked past at the correct time and got to feed them for 50 pesos more.Tip: the only complaint was on a Sunday they only had one person at the desk to buy the entry tickets. It was very hot outside and we waited 30 minutes so perhaps buy them onlineOverall one of the best aquariums I have ever been to. Animals very well cared for
Great aquarium, definitely worth the price of admission, the kids loved it. Prices are extremely reasonable.
A lot of activities you can join and enjoy them.
Great place for the kids to learn about the marine life.
Excellent place to visit, you can see may species of fish and reptiles.
Perfect experience and incredibly interesting, you can walk with peace and take pictures of many extravagant animals, an unique opportunity to touch Manta Rays wonderful and noble animals. The opportunity to swimming with sharks and feed crocodiles. Not a expensive experience and its a friendly activity with your family, partner or friends.Pictures are taking for the personal of the aquarium and you can buy them at the final of the aquarium.
A wonderful, yet small, place to see exotic species. It is well designed but a bit confusing as you may not fully experience it on your first visit.
Great place for leisure and learning experience for all Family. My Daughter had a great time when we went there. We need to go again. Despite not being a huge place ( like other international acuariumsthey have distributed very well the exhibition and all the different fishes and other animals on display. Highly recommended for going alone or with family.
Nice place to take the family , lots of fun activities in the aquarium
Very nice place. Many signs provide English translations. the concession for Coca-Cola, which was provided free with our ticket, could use some optimization with service.
Awesome place , lots of animals on the exhibit, lots of interesting facts to learn. Theres a nice parrots section with Guacamayas. Ticket is expensive, but I got a 25% discount (not sure exactly why and I didnt ask :- also ,if you reach at the last hour there is an even bigger discount. Nonetheless- i think its worth the price.Transportation: I got there with bus line 27 ,there is a stop just outside the acuario.
I was a little disappointed about this place but I guess I just had very high expectations. This is a great place for children for sure and I love that they have a small outdoor area where you can get something to eat and relax before moving on. Its a nice place but unless you really like aquariums, then I would recommend you to do something else on your visit to Guadalajara. I was not super impressed by this aquarium. I thought the "big final" aquarium was more fascinating and I was a little disappointed how many reptiles they had compared to how many spectacular fish they have.
Great aquarium showcasing many different habitats of Mexico.
Fun place for the whole family. So many different fish and other aquatic animals.
