We booked a table for 14 people for a 18th birthday celebration, the restaurant was amazing, the staff very friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely gorgeous with a great variety of choices. We all had an amazing time, I cant thank them enough.

I go here every year for my birthday and every year for my Glasgow uni friends reunion and we have always came away with bellies full of yummy food & lashings of good drinks.My last birthday we had 12 people and about 6 of those have since been back themselves as they were as impressed as we were.Nan now makes it a regular before the opera house!They do excellent vegan options too - the nut roast was outstanding please bring it back!!Gin fizz cocktail is too easy to drink and husband loves the salmon.After dinner cappuccino was perfect 👌🏽We will be back year in year out.

Excellent food, location and service. Cant recommend Actons highly enough for a meal out.We attended last night for a family celebration as a party of 9 so got the chance to try most of the menu. There was a great section to choose from and everything was to a high standard.The food was all delicious and to a very high standard. We also tried the majority of the cocktail menu which were all excellent. The mango daquari was particularly good.Staff were also brilliant, very friendly and attentive. Thoroughly made the night a good one.

Incredible GF menu options, also available in the children’s menu because for some reason other restaurants don’t include GF options in the children ‘s one.When I asked if the ketchup was GF the manager was not sure. I explained that Heinz brand is GF, she said that is the brand they have but went to check anyway. That was good.Service was friendly and efficient.The food was nice.

Excellent experience in Actons last evening, the food was amazing with top class service. I would highly recommend Actons during your trip to Belfast.

This is my second time at Actons. We had the two course menu with a carafe of wine.. the meal was outstanding and piping hot. All the Staff are very attentive but a special mention to Gillian who remembered us and took the time to have a chatI would highly recommend

Just got here from London via Dublin, and its my wifes birthday. We havent eaten in hours but this place hit the spot. Big up the Scottish chef 💪💪💪

Loved this restaurant. They had many gluten Free options. It was our first real meal after traveling. They had Gluten Free garlic cheese bread for a starter that was amazing. Whole meal was wonderful and staff was very attentive. Great service! Highly recommend this restaurant.

Trendy spot for a bite or drink, great for dates or whatever. Friendly staff and great food.

Went here on a quiet Saturday afternoon for lunch and absolutely loved it - staff are very understanding of intolerances like GF. Really nice atmosphere and huge portions. Hope to come here again!

This restaurant is attached to the travelodge but there is nothing basic about the food, drinks or service. Group of six ladies post visit to matinee at Grand Opera House. Feedback of the three having cocktails, they were obviously very good as 2 had 3 of them. Everyone enjoyed their meals and 2 of us who selected from the pre theatre menu considered the choices were varied and excellent value. The real star was the service in particular the young gentleman who spoke directly to the vulnerable adult in our company and made extra effort to provide her with the dip she wanted. Recommend it to anyone even if street parking is not easy but the multi storey carpark at bus station is only a short walk away.

Got a soup and the acton burger, with some foxes rock lager. Girlfriend got the fried cauliflower, a veggie burger and some magners.Food was delicious. Good craft beer selection. Service was truly exceptional. Was made to feel very at home. Will be returning here again.

Oved this place. Food is great, staff warm and friendly, background music and atmosphere is great. Great value for money. Had the ribs and they were fabulous as well as the halloumi fries delicious.

We went to Actons for lunch and I swear it was the best meal Ive had in Belfast for a long time! The gluten free options were endless and I felt so comfortable and the thing we loved the most? The absolutely banging playlist!! A huge talking point at our table! I will definitely be back to Actons.

Very friendly staff. Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant. Food was delicious. My friend and I had scampi n chips, beautifully presented and tasted gorgeous. Will be back soon thats for sure.

We had a lovely meal on Saturday evening. The food was delicious and there wasnt a massive wait or anything.Our server Neil was super friendly, really chatty and very good at keeping us topped up and comfortable the whole evening.Lovely cocktails and a great vibe in the restaurant. 10/10

Oh so good !! Ive eaten here twice and thoroughly enjoyed both times. Friendly staff and delicious food. Please keep the Korean style Brussels sprouts on the menu all year, they were divine.

Just came into Actons restaurant for brunch. It has a limited vegan menu but the waiter, Neil, was brilliant, he bent over backward and was more than accomodating. Over all experience is 5 stars for the flavours of the food! And 5/5 for service. We will definitely be back.

GREAT GLUTEN FREE MENU.Just been diagnosed with Coelitis, so new to the whole gluten free thing. This was our first GF meal out. The menu was full of GF options which didnt spoil the meal. The staff were very good and the price was a nice surprise. Very clean and tidy layout with the whole restaurant keeping to all the current covid rules. We watched as they very expertly cleaned each table and chairs as other diners left. We didnt book and was pleasantly surprised to get a table for two. All in all, this will be a regular for us in the future.

Four of us ate in Actons last night.. We had the most amazing experience.. Two of is had the vegan poke bowl omg it was just awesome.. Such a choice of vegan food and certainly didnt disappoint. The two men in our group chose steak and raved about it too..the service and servers were so helpful too...

Lovely but of grub! Staff very accommodating and able to explain GF menu. Nice ambience and well laid out to not feel uncomfortable during pandemic. Highly recommend.

Big thanks to all the staff at Acton & Sons for the great service. We wanted to try somewhere new and this place didnt disappoint.We ordered a selection of the starters which arrived very quickly and were piping hot. The bread was so fresh it seemed like it was just baked that day, and the prawns tasted like they had just been lifted out of the ocean. Compliments to the chef and his team.The waiter made sure my drinks were well topped up much to my delight but not too much for my pregnant wife 🤣 I was drinking for too.All in all a great menu, fast and friendly service, and the food was to die for. We will definitely be back.

Just had really really good meal here, I had ribs, Alan had chicken enchiladas, both thoroughly enjoyed our mains. Then we both had sticky toffee pudding, absolutely delicious. Our waiter Neil was fab, really attentive and great chat. We will definitely be back. 100% recommend food and service.

I havent been here since they changed the name. Nevertheless, the quality hasnt changed. The atmosphere is great; the place is clean, welcoming and bright; the workers polite and quick to notice; and the food is absolutely delicious!In these times of covid, it was reassuring to see them clean the tables ever so often and also to see the waitress mindful of social distancing.

This place was such a pleasant finding! Staff was nice, service quick enough! I had omelet with salad as main and I also ordered the Halloumi Frittes which was unreal!! I definitely recommend it!

Good place, great cocktails, we tried the Orange Fizz Gin and the Chili Margarita. But the food was not as good as it looked. My pork fillet was overcooked! It remains pretty basic..

This is a wonderful restaurant! The food is delicious. I enjoyed the colorful plates and the little silver buckets that some of the dishes were served in as well. Very cool vibe and atmosphere. A mix between rustic and hipster according to my daughter. Im not sure if they were short on servers but it seemed so as the server didnt come around often. She didnt come by after food delivered to see if we needed anything or how the food was. I had to ask another server for our check to be delivered. Still I would go back anytime as the food was so good.

5 of us had a lovely meal here on Saturday night (pre theatre menuwas really good value... £20 for 2 courses and a small carafe of wine. We were served by Gilly who was great, he was very witty, had us all laughing and was very attentive. Really enjoyed. Will be back!

Great place. Informal and friendly. Good food,reasonably priced. Service was great- staff happy and welcoming.6 of us on Friday night stayed from 6.30 til about 9. No sense of being rushed.

Excellent meal, brilliant service. Prices reasonable on their extensive menu. The only thing lacking was an espresso cup for my espresso which was a bit lost in the bottom of an ordinary tea cup.
