Acland Court Shopping Centre - Shopping Centre in Altona Meadows, Australia
Bin shopping here for years now. Always a pleasureable experience. Has convenience of Coles, and other food shops and alfresco dining at front entrance. Great place and friendly environment.
I love this place, theres a direct connection to the Melbourne Tram line and a huge variety of shops to look at. If you love eclectic, check it out!
Pretty good, its clean
Beatiful place to walk, have some coffee or food
Was very busy, the area was looking tired and needs a little TLC.
its better than Fitzroy Street Supermarket.at least coles and woolworths have variety.
Parking was a little exxy, but location, location!
Well every shop is getting past shut down .Some favourites have changed positions in the arcade .Lets see if this summer hum will bring back tourists to Kilda.
We often visit the Acland Court Shopping Centre directly opposite the route 96 tram super-stop terminal. As well as a 3-level car park, it has a Coles Supermarket, Cellarbrations outlet, Medical Centre, Pharmacy, Kitchenwares Store, Nook Jewelry, Vodafone Store, cafes and eateries. Theres also an interesting public artwork in the atrium with a number of features (e.g. models of the No 12 St Kilda Tram, Luna Park rides, skateboarders, buskers and a man boating etcthat capture some of the past and present characters and stories in the making of what St Kilda is. It’s colourful and thus representative of St Kilda. Acland Court Shopping Centre is a great place to shop and enjoy a coffee and snack. Its small but we like it.
The renovation of this place has brought everything back to life. The shops no longer look drab and acland court is now I place I enjoy visiting with its new vibe.
Good place but lacks cafes and the charm it did a few years ago.
Plenty of eateries coffee etc and selection of shops
Has its own quaint atmosphere with supermarket, bottle shop, bakery and food stores
Selection of eateries, shops, medical centre and Coles. 2 Levels
Always convenient, & actually stays open till the proper closing time, not closed 10mins beforehand when uve made it just in time to duck in & grab 1 or 2 things, but theyve already closed early like Woolies acland st up the street does all the time.!👍 Thanks staff, much appreciated.!😊👌✌️
Amazing atmosphere ✨✨✨Such a cute little shopping precinct.
Handy to get all your needs here. With access for me to Coles. Cellar rations, and Vodaphone
Very beautiful and peaceful place for relaxing
Must say all the staff at all the shops are super friendly. The superclinic is great. It might be small but its a lovely little hub for St Kilda.
Good doctors clinic, nice home store upstairs, great coles.
Only window shopped but was sad to see the Street was almost deserted since the pandemic had ended.
Nice clean and has doctors and coles shopping centers there
The place for us, living close by, makes us feel like home!C.A.👍👍👍
Convenient if you are a local i suppose, but a bit of a dive. Only reason i went there was the late night chemist did supervised RATs for travel.
The Coles experience was quite nice. The shoppers were friendly and overall had a easy shop.A decent sized supermarket that had everything I needed.
Great coffee and handmade cakes. Closed to cars except trams. Live music and night clubs.
Its a nice little shopping court. Its just sometimes, it can get a bit hectic in there.
I was able to get all my ingredients, for my apricot chicken. So yes, Im happy..😅
Coles , takeaway food shops, lock smiths with the Doctors, physiotherapy etc.. amongst others are located upstairs. Car Parking under cover & outside. Acland Street & Barkly Street shops & pubs very close aswell.
Small shopping centre with the new Coles recently opened the past year. This is a more fancy Coles than normal & well suited to the St Kilda vibe. Also there is a bottleshop, cafe & coffee place, homewares store, vodafone, jewellery shop & pharmacy, whilst upstairs there is the St Kilda Superclinic medical centre. There used to be a laundromat there too but this has recently closed. Public toilets are available on the first floor, open between 9am & 8pm which although cleaned regularly are always rather unsanitary in appearance. A multi-level carpark is attached which provides one hour free parking & then jumps to $8 once longer than this.
Honestly, this place is a bit of a white elephant. Of course, the big draw is the Coles, but it’s a weird hybrid of normal Coles and pretentious wanna be. Odd food selection, not the standard Coles range and, as always, too much Home Brand.Acland Street deserves better than the monolith to corporate profit that is “Acland Court Shopping Centre”. In fact, calling it a shopping centre is hyperbolic. Don’t bother - there are so many great independent shops that offer more in a better environment so close by.
Love Acland court has jeweller, supermarket, bakery/cafe/deli/cafe/fresh sushi/honeware,medical centre, parking, pharmacy and more great for the locals especially 1 stop shop
Good place to go, especially on Sunday. Sunday market, shops, cafes, Luna Park, or relaxing walk on St Kilda beach.
Great shops top cakes and coffee
Its as good as this little place can be. Not overly modern and often a few riff raff from around the area here but does the job and the businesses have lovely staff.
We went there to grab quick snack from Coles Local. Although most of the store was closed due to lockdown, I still enjoy this shopping centre with its ornament and painting. Free parking for 1 hour
Everything priceline pharmacy I impressed with the girl who helped me and said they would order it in but I actually went there for a lottery ticket. Coles supermarket is good and a jewelry and accessories shop there cant wait to see it open and be able to afford some of the bits and pieces in their windows
Good bars, cake shops and entertainment right in the centre of St Kilda
It’s one of the best shopping centers of St Kilda and if you are looking for one big umbrella with a lot of medical centers, grocery, a pharmacy and other retail shops grouped quietly together, then it’s a good place to visit.Doesn’t have a lot of variety but it’s still good.
First time in there so I was a bit "lost". But did work out what I wanted fairly easily. Was very disappointed with the Coles supermarket, very swanky, just remove the "s"!. Price and quality did not match ! Very poor service too.
Vibrant and can be exciting when the Victorian weather is good and the street bands is out there playing the good music is lot of fun to be there. This people can make it very warm feelings even the temperatures are not good sometimes because you know in Victoria state changes of climate five times in one daytime.
Excellent on site parking and easy elevator and escalator access to the various shops and levels. The parking is made even easier by being automatic access without ticketing, as their are security cameras installed that record your number plate and automatically let you in and out, upon payment via touch screen kiosk near the interval elevators. The Coles supermarket is not huge, but it is well stocked and convenient, and Ive found the staff to be very helpful. As a new local temporary resident Ive not explored around very much, but this a very useful location with easily accessed facilities.
It is a small court yet you can find what you are looking for, for your everyday needs, it is 10 minutes walk from my place so I find it very convenient, plus is on Acland Street that is always offering something for the community, right now is the pop up Ice Rink where you can skate with your children. If you dont know the area I recommend a weekend visit, on Sundays there is a craft and food stall market.
A variety of shops and restaurants. I do not recommend going into any of the cake shops, average cakes, not really tasty. A scotch finger is better than any of the cakes they sell
Its a nice little shopping center with a smallish Coles supermarket that still has all you need. The staff are usually pretty good and friendly can get reasonably busy at certain times of the day but other than that its pretty good.
Coles is bizarre. The while things a bit odd: cramming so much on such a tiny spot of land.. but, thats downtown St. Kilda for ya..! Seriously though, how much more construction can we take, & how many identical shops do we Really Need!? My 2¢★
The Acland St village has many bars, restaurants, cake shops, ice cream shops, clothing stores, supermarkets, convenience stores, banks, a doctors clinic and other stores. Many rooftop bars such as Veludo and the Village Belle Hotel. Not many tourist things to do here but worth checking out the street on a Summer day as its pumping with people.
Very depressing atmosphere. The security are following you everywhere you go. The only. Place I like in the plaza is they have a great food shop called ground yourself. But overall the plaza is not up to much. If you need the toilet before you visit go before you shop. They only have 2 smelly toilets each for both Male and females . hold into youre bladder
Went to doctors here. Bulk billing so good when you need things like doctors scripts or sick certs filled out. But if you want anything major I would suggest going to a normal doctors clinic. The doctors are lovely rho never had a problem
This review is mainly for the toilets.I used the Male toilets here and I saw a few used syringes laying there, so I have a feeling that drugs get injected there pretty often. It also wasnt particularly clean but thats not as major an issue as the syringes. The decor otherwise is very early 2000s. There was people asking for money when I went in, which is a bit disconcerting, considering it is inside but it didnt present much of an issue, its more just an observation. There is 1 Hour Free Parking (if you spend $15 or more at Coles).
