I had one of the greatest steak go vist this restaurant there lunch and dinners time is time limited . place is expensive for locals but it deserve your money

I came here with a friend and the food was very good. The cheesecake was phenomenal too. I got the beef lasagna and my friend got the ravioli filled with potato and spinach. Both were amazing dishes and I recommend this to anyone who want to eat a good meal at a clean place with nice respectful waiters and for a good price. Good for any occasion!

The started were very good.The "primi" were average, the main course were decent.The desserts were very good.The place is neat and the service is good.It is an expensive place for what it offers.

The food is good, the wine has kind of variety, the prices are expensive but worth it. The ice-cream was the best part.Excellent service.No a lot of options for vegan.

The food was the best thing about this overpriced, bite sized portioned, boujee restaurant and it was cold. Youre better off with room service at 4-5star hotel. Save your money and time, dont go.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS TERRIBLE PLACE. Ive been coming here for years and never been treated with such disrespect. I was very good friends with the manager(white girl at the frontsince it opened. She used to personally make sure I was served and treated excellently. I am shocked by the disgusting change in attitudes and new policies theyve created. I ordered 3 items to-go, costing me over 2,000birr (ridiculously overpriced and now smaller portions than everover the phone. I asked when my driver should come pick up my food and the waiter replied 20 minutes. My driver was late and ended up arriving 40min later. He was then told my food had not even been started yet. He called telling me the situation, which prompted me to call them myself and talk to the man who said 20min. He told me they have all been instructed by management(the white girlto NOT MAKE TO-GO ORDERS UNTIL THE CUSTOMER ARRIVES because of many people not coming to get their food after they order. He was very nice and apologetic about the situation and referred me to the manager(white girl). She gets on the phone and begins to insult me and my driver for showing up late and showed no remorse of the fact that I was told 20min and had to wait over an hour and a half for my food. She then proceeded to argue with me about how I should understand why they didnt make my food. At this I was fed up and told my driver to leave without the food since my family had now started cooking at home because we have kids to feed. All she had to do was be professional and apologize for the mistake/assumption that I wasnt coming and all wouldve been forgiven. Instead she took her bad experiences with a few customers from the past and now making us all suffer for it. Its sad to see such a great place turn into this white girls experiment. She should be fired immediately or not work directly with people seeing how she is immature and doesnt take responsibility for her stupid decisions. Shes instead projecting the blame on innocent unaware paying customers that simply want food. She will ruin the future of this establishment by not letting go of her jaded past. Wish I could give this disgusting women negative stars, but 1 shall do for now. GET NEW MANAGEMENT ASAP.

If you want good Italian food keep driving when you see this place. Im in town on business, this spot got recommended to me by a friend last night. Now were not friends anymore😅. But seriously the food was pretty good, but extremely overpriced for the portion size. This is NOT a gourmet restaurant, but they try and act like they are. And the manager was very inattentive, no one looked happy to be there. Miserable energy/vibe, but nicely decorated.

Wow, just saw all the other bad reviews from last night. This place really fell off. Glad im not alone with my feelings. Terrible service, the lady in the front is so rude. She ignored us walking in, but then stared at us the whole time we sat. It was really weird and made us very uncomfortable. Food was good, but very expensive for small amounts. Never coming back.

Great Italian restaurant with wonderful ambiance. Please make sure you come with a lot of money because this place is very pricey. I really enjoyed their pastas and their parfait desert. It’s still a nice restaurant to go to when you need a change from the usual Italian fancy spots.Bonus: They have a great wine collection.

A bit pricey but a great date night place or youre hosting friends from out of town and want to make a great impression. Their steaks are great and the parma ham salad is top notch. Try the apple tart too, you wont regret it. Intimate ambience and great wine selection.

i got the caesar salad as a starter and the mushroom risotto as a entree. it was DELICIOUS. my fiancé got calamari as a starter and beef steak as an entree, he really enjoyed it. Dessert was amazing too. ALSO really great service, very attentive and accommodating. Everyone was super nice. they have wifi. I had a great date. i will definitely be back. it’s a little pricey but 100% worth it.

Fantastic food, quality service. The osso bucco was extremely tender—which is harder than it sounds given the normal quality of Ethiopian meat, and the chocolate mousse just heavenly.

Not able to manage booking properly. We had a confirmed booking, but they mix up booking. Food qualify was low. Fish plate with very little fish.

It’s mostly Italian cuisine but there’s extra French style cuisines eg beef fillet ( what am having now and the presentation and taste is to die for😋. Not to forget the starters which are fantastic. The waiter was really lame when we come in, however there were not many people sit in. Portions are very small and food are very expensive, better to go to Andiamo or Sale e Pepe for more authentic experience. It is just overpriced.

Well, overpriced and portions are very small, if you are very hungry, must order much and pay much. The waiter is not attentive, doesn’t recommend, better not to ask him anything, very boring. I love Italian food but in Addis I prefer Sale and Pepe and Gusto restaurants.

This is typical Italian restaurant.. I have a Ravioli caprese and Butternut squash soup.Perfect taste.Finally I tried the Ethiopian Ethiopian espresso coffee.. was not bat but not like Italian one.Waiter kalib is a nice guy and introduced a nice hospitality.

Food is excellent. Try the Risotto and the Roasted chicken. Get a reservation in advance if you are going there on a weekend.

An excellent restaurant with excellent service, delicious food and it is fairly priced. The ambiance is great and it is nearby the airport. I would totally recommend this for a business dinner or if you feel like treating yourself or your loved ones. If you are driving, finding a parking spot is hard. So try to find a spot before getting there.

Google maps doesnt have the option of given minus five star, otherwise they truly deserve that. Horrible food. They will give you store bought Napolitano sauce on some over cook stale pasta. If you ask they will start fighting with you.

Great food (!and great service. The restaurant is pleasant and beautiful.Prices are typical for a big city (3 people - one appetizer, 3 main dishes, 2 deserts and one bottle of local wine - 3000 birr including tax and service)

Food was okay. Service was terrible. The waiter was rude and inattentive. Ended up leaving without dessert because of the bad service. The manager was polite and tried to fix things at the end but it was too little too late. For the high prices charged at this place I expected much more. Will not be returning.

I liked the food, the service, the environment. Great tiramisù! Its true that prices are a bit high compared to most restaurants in Addis, but I consider that money as well spent.

So good taste!!! Recommended! I had smoked salmon tagliatelle and salad, taste is something like a oasis in deserts. Posh interior design, colourful oil paintings, traditional ornaments on a wall which is perfectly much the atmosphere. Staffs are smiley and well trained; you will not be frustrated to wait for staffs to notice your order. Price is 330 birr for salmon pasta and 160 birr for salad; above the average price of foreign country restaurant, however, I think I would come back with my colleagues.

High quality food, great service, cosy atmosphere. Really enjoyed the chicken dinner. The raw beef appetizer was good, I was surprised by the generous portion size. Delicious wine offering. Nice job, Abucci.

At the prices charged one should be able to expect much, much better quality. The red wine was served at ‘room’ temperature (thus way too warm, being in Ethiopia). The food, on the other hand, was not exactly steaming hot when it came on the table. There wasn’t a hint of truffles in the dish I ordered. And to finalize it all, the tiramisu was still icy from the freezer. (And they only have 1 pepper mill for the whole place, it seems)

Service was very punctual and kind. Delicious good food but on the pricier end of the cost in Addis. Careful coming to the area, would not recommend walking by yourself but walking over should be fine.

I lived in Addis for three months and this is the best restaurant I`ve been to. Excellent food and service. It is more expensive than most restaurants in Bole but the food is definitely worth it.

Good and quick Italian food. Acoustics not very good upstairs and it is better to sit downstairs if you want to have a conversation.

The restaurant is good and we come here all the time. We are loyal customers. However, today, their credit card machine was not working and we didnt have cash on hand. We asked them if we can pay the following day, they were very hesitant and wanted us to bring the money that same night, which was already late. I was very disappointed in their response and how they treated us. Im not sure well go back again. They dont have experience in handling customers.

Been here a couple of times. The Caesar Salad is great, the ambiance is pleasant, and the food is wonderful. Its the best restaurant in Addis Ababa by far, and Ive been to many. Ill make this a regular lunch time place. Great service as well and bread with olive oil, which is not common and should be. Everything about the place is great -- its spotless clean, well decorated, nice plates and cutlery, good wine choices, and the best food anywhere.

The best of Italian food in town. the ambiance is great the meal is palatable and truly Italian. Staff knows how to handle clients. Above all, the place is clean!!! I usually avoid sea food while travelling - but I vouch this place for its fresh shrimps source with pasta!! If you need to treat yourself with a good meal after hiking or mountain climbing somewhere in Ethiopia, do head out to this truly Italian place - you will leak the sides of your lips before the meal is served. please call for appointment as the place fills up quickly especially Friday night and weekends.

What a nice place! Feels like an oasis in a post-apocalyptic dystopia. An incredible Tiramisu - I really mean that. ‘Deconstructed’ the waiter called it. A charming place.
