Great area to stay at to walk/explore Limerick. The staff was absolutely wonderful and took the time to give us some food suggestions as well as site seeing attractions. They truly made us feel welcomed and we look forward to being able to visit again!

We booked the Absolute Hotel in Limerick for lack of being able to gain accommodation at The Savoy. We chose it based upon its reported Four Star rating. At best, it is a 3 star property. We are well seasoned in finer and bespoke travel, so we understand.Upon arrival, there was no bell staff offered to assist with baggage. Once gaining entry to the room, we noticed it was clean but also a tad worse for wear with things such as a flickering bedside light that was resolved by extinguishing the lamp. There was also a lamp out in one of the mirrors in the bathroom and a floor lamp in the corner of the room had seen better days; bent and twisted a bit. I did my best to fix this and align the shade properly. The last thing of note was a poorly repaired carpet in the room of which the repaired/replaced bit of carpet materials pulling back from the floor.Something to note regarding in house WiFi. The property chooses to restrict access to certain "blue" sites and applications. While this is their right as it is their private property, a notice of their foisting their own mores upon hotel guests would be nice.As for the property itself, while it is clean, decor is a bit out of fashion and austere. This is a risk of when one designs for trends of the moment; the favor of the decor lasts for only a brief moment.We did not experience the on site dining or bar.It was an Ok experience, but one of the more forgettable properties we have visited.

Rooms were very large. Pretty modern feeling inside the rooms. It wasnt dirty. The washroom door was glass and everytime you close it the closer would snap shut making it feel like it could break the glass door. Washroom was clean and the waterfall shower had decent pressure. There was an onsite gym thats good for a workout and free parking. Its a little outside of the core area but not too far, still walkable distance. Its pretty close to King Johns castle and Marys Cathedral. Staff were pretty helpful.

I like this hotel. It is modern, well-located yet in. a quiet corner and reasonably priced. The room we had is spacious and clean. There was a bit of mold in the shower, but it was acceptable. You can eat a decent dinner at their restaurant with views of the river. Breakfast was included in our rate and it was also not bad. Will definitely come back to this hotel.

This is a cool, modern hotel in Limerick! The location was about a ten minute walk from downtown. I loved the modern look of the rooms. The bed was comfortable and the shower was excellent. The AC kept the room nice and cool. Staff were friendly. I had a great stay here!

Cant say enough good things about this hotel. Great rooms very clean property. Very Good restaurant. Had a great stay here . Recommend to all travelers to stay here.

We stayed at the Absolute for my Sisters Hen Party and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. They offered a fantastic package and superb value, the staff were incredible, couldn’t have done enough for us and the entire group commented on that. We dined in the restaurant for Dinner and Breakfast and both were beautiful. I’ve stayed in Hotels for Hens before and you just felt they cut corners, but not at the Absolute. I would highly recommend for Hen Groups!! 4/5 on location just because you will need to get a taxi back to Hotel if out in the City Centre at night.

What can I say other than you MUST stay at this hotel! From the friendly staff to the beautiful decor, you just couldnt fault. Im here on a three night stay on buisness and Ive stayed in a good few hotels around the country and by far this was the most refreshing and breathtaking. I have to sincerely thank the wonderful Lynda from the restaurant, your a lovely human being, very friendly, sincere and a real asset to this hotel so thank you very much for all your hospitality.

Rooms a little too hot, air control doesnt really work. Had to change rooms as the shower doors were not working properly, due to a lot of foundation cracks in the Bathroom walls.

Had dinner here last night and must say the food was excellent 👌 😋 full bellys and a lovely venue staff very friendly we will be back 😀 q

On probably the hottest day of the year I arrived at the hotel tired, hot and two hours early and my room wasn’t ready. I explained to the lovely Croatian lady on reception that I had some work to do and asked if there was a coffee shop where I could work, but instead to my delight, she upgraded me to a premium room that was already ready. On arriving at the room there was a very friendly young man cleaning the carpet. He told me to hang on whilst he went down to reception to get me another room, because he was cleaning the carpet and it was still wet. When he came back he told me I’d been upgraded to a suite on the top floor. The room was amazing and had panoramic views of the river and a balcony. To say I was over the moon is an understatement and it had air conditioning which was a good send. Both staff members were polite, friendly and professional and went out of their way to help me, so they deserve recognition. I come to Limerick two to three times a year and I will most definitely stay at this hotel again. Overall a fantastic experience.

This hotel was not the best at all. To start the front desk didnt mention anything about the hotel like any other hotel would (welcome here is where things are). Then the bartenders didnt even know what they had when it was clearly on their menu and right on the bar. Lastly my group had dinner schedule for 6:30, got it changed to 6:00 a day in advance, but when we went down the hostess said our reservation was for 7:00.Lastly the location is a 10 minute walk to historical locations and a 10 minute walk the opposite direction for the city center. So pretty much you either walk all day or pick one destination.

Service, rooms, coffee from the in room nespresso machine.The wonderful bar man Christan whos professionalism and friendliness will not be forgotten.Breakfast in the morning was fresh and fantastic. Could not have asked for anything more.Do not miss out on The Absolute Hotel.

Great location to stay! Beautiful rooms. The bathrooms aren’t very private, but we got used to that quickly. The showers are fantastic. Staff is friendly. Didn’t have a chance to try the food but I heard good things. Will stay again if we find ourselves back in Limerick!

We had a great stay at the Absolute Hotel in Limerick. It was a short walk to pretty much all the city attractions. We have to hand it to Chloe at the front desk she was absolutely amazing. I asked her a borage of questions about things to do and places to eat and she delivered. Chloe pointed us to a restaurant called Marco Polo, a modern European restaurant, and it was so great that we pretty much used that as a stand of where we wanted to eat in every city we visited in Ireland. If your in Ireland you should go see our friend Chloe at the Absolute Hotel!

Stayed here for a hen, great location. All staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and very varied, especially breakfast. Great cocktail at dinner. Rooms were very spacious with all amenities except we had no hanging wardrobe space, only shelves. I would definitely return and fully recommended.

Just about the worst hotel I have stayed at for quite some time. Paid almost £800 for 3 night and where do I start, firstly I am am a director of a pub and restaurant company and I happily gel with bar staff, however when all bar staff were stood around at the end of the night, the level of bad language and swearing used was completely unacceptable. Yes it was only me and a friend present but this does not matter. Follow this with no towels in my room on arrival, coupled with the dirt around the showers door and damaged seal to bath panel . This is only added to by tonights service, i do like the guy but lack of training meant he was unable to answer the questions i asked about the menu. I will say he did try his best but the fish cakes I ordered were far too big to be classed as a started and once I had finished the waitress asked if I would like the dessert menu, oh dear me, no communication between servers and no dedicated service areas so the server knows whats going on. The main arrived within a minute and I could have done with a little time to digest the large starter. Came back after going to visit the bar that my brother used to run as he passed away 2 years ago and asked front desk if the bar was still open, he said "yeah maybe" to which I replied is that "yes or no" he had no answer, I went to the bar and was told it was closed. Oh ps. I forgot to mention the hotel that advertises 24 hour room service but I was told when I called this afternoon to ball back as they were busy and then the guy hung up. Ill be Avoiding the place and booking the savoy next time. 4 STAR HOTEL WITH 2 STAR SERVICE

We got free upgrade to a suite which was great. Huge room, 2 TVs , sofa, balcony with table and chairs overlooking the river, great bathroom, nespresso coffee machine, queen size bed so comfortable. Great breakfast friendly staff throughout. Highly recommend!

Communion Meal with family was great. The food and service were excellent. We were also allowed to bring in our own cake and cut it after the meal.

I’m puzzled by the good reviews of this place. I paid around $300 – in Limerick! – for a room with a depressing view, a broken toilet seat, and a coffee machine that didn’t work. The parking spaces in the garage are too narrow. The front desk staff can’t really be bothered, and had no spare umbrellas, which is the sort of thing you get at places that charge this kind of price. The toilet off the cafe area smelled foul and the ceiling over the tacky lobby was leaking water. At least they’d put buckets on the stairs.

The absolute hotel in Limerick offers nice views along the river with a spa and restaurant. Unfortunately when we arrived back from our graduation we were greeted by the most unfriendly and uncompromising hotel shift manager who refused entry to my guest and to my friends girlfriend who had to spend the night in a service station because of this. One of the rudest and most ignorant individuals I have ever encountered in my life

Very polite and professional staff. Stayed 11 days and room was only cleaned 3 or 4 times. Had to keep calling down for towels. Parking situation is pretty bad. Probably wouldnt go again.

We were two people and stayed there for two nights. The room was spacious and clean, although there was no cleaning service during the day amd the air conditioner was broken. They brought us another portable heater. We only had dinner for one night and liked it. Also had spa service, which was good. Additionally, we were expecting to have pool/sauna. However there was no any such service, which was disappointing for a “spa hotel”. We paid €458 for two nights, very definitely expensive price for a spa hotel without proper spa services, not breakfast or dinner included

Staff very nice all over the hotel food and drink was excellent. Our room was fabulous just the bed was a bit on comfortable. The lovely lady on reception was very nice and helpful and couldnt do enough to help for that reason alone we would come back and stay again in a heart beat.

Room was basic, and not very clean. I found dirty tissue paper and an ear cottonbud next to the bed. The price was €249 for one night plus breakfast, which would have been expensive even if the room was acceptable. The bed was small, lumpy and quite lopsided as the foot of the bed was much higher than the head - so it was a very uncomfortable sleep. The shower was extremely low, so my partner who is 6ft had to bend to fit under the shower head. The bathroom door was a glass panel so toilet privacy was non-existent. The breakfast was the only good thing about the place.Definitely would not stay here again.

We stayed for 2 nights, great location, rooms were big and comfortable with a lovely river view, the food was delicious and staff were so lovely especially Kate and saoirse who looked after us in the bar they had great customer service, we would definitely stay here again

Had a fantastic stay staff were friendly and very welcoming. Anything I asked was done no hassle. Food was great I had no problem with getting gluten free items. Very stylish bar good selection of drinks. Room was very modern great shower. A proper coffee machine. TV had many chanelles including apps. Would highly recommend.

The room was large, clean and comfortable and the food was fabulous! The staff were helpful and attentive. Charge points are provided in the Hotel car park, which is especially useful for electric car drivers.Altogether highly recommended as the perfect place to stay for a New Year break!

Honestly one of the best hotels to stay in. The rooms were very clean and modern. There is a very nice scent to the room. Both breakfast and dinner was super good. The staff were very friendly. The quality of the shampoo, body wash and soap were decent with a nice smell to them. However, I stayed there for 4 nights and they had only serviced the room once which was kinda dissapointing.

Stayed here for a birthday weekend away.. Great place to stay & relax, rooms were warm & welcoming, Staff were very helpful & obliging.. Food was amazing! Something to suit everyone.. Would definitely recommend!! Look forward to staying again.. ⭐👍👌

Lovely hotel in a very good location in Limerick city. The hotel is located in the old quarter. The room was lovely and spacious with an expresso machine, a balcony, rainfall shower, large smart TV and a massive comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent. Probably the best Ive had ina hotel. Lovely granola yoghurt and a pancake maker for the kids. The evening meal was very nice. It did take awhile for the seafood chowder to come out but it was worth the wait. Not a lot of parking available in the hotel but more available across the road. The hotel also has a gym but didnt try it out. Well worth a visit. The staff in the restaurant were great, efficient and very friendly.

Everything used to be perfect. I used to really enjoy it. Food was Delicious. fabulous room.But I had this review at five stars ye r lucky to get three. Staff ignore u on the second night of your stay. Housekeeping dont want to do up a room. Screw your policies theyre ridiculous if someone complains and if they want a refund that is their right. The stay in four weeks from now Is cancelled and we wont be bribed by duty manager either. We will upgrade Ur room and free drinks big wow like. What would that be ten euro is it. For 454 euro people should get better and they rip people off and dont want to do anything because of a pandemic. Good luck to ye.

Stayed in the suite and it was a beautiful room!! Very clean and comfortable with a huge balcony & beautiful views overlooking the river. Check in and accom staff were friendly. Strawberry daiquiris were delicious. Only thing that brought the experience down was restaurant staff forgot our table a few times during service. We sat for 20 minutes waiting for dessert menus we asked for.

We didn’t want to leave after a 2 days stay because from the very minute we stepped inside the hotel we felt so comfortable and the atmosphere was lovely we would give a 10 star rating if we could because from the room to the staff and to the food it was so amazing, we had a river view which was gorgeous and we WILL be back.Thank you for a wonderful stayMargie xx

Room was a good size, view over the river. Bed was basic, not the most comfortable. Great shower/bathroom amenities. Onsite car park is good, although on weekends its "first come first served" and it tends to fill up fast in the evenings. Limited other places to park so watch out for that. Service was average unfortunately, they were supposed to deliver breakfast to my room each morning but several times it didnt show up or the bag was half full. When they serviced the room, several times they didnt refill the hot drinks which is puzzling. On one occasion it all just disappeared and I had to get reception to deliver another. The elevators are annoyingly slow. Food from the restaurant is comparatively poor for the price. Not an easy place to get to if youre commuting there everyday through traffic, but a 10 minute walk will get you to a few shops/food options etc.

Stayed with my daughters for 2 nights. First time to stay in Limerick. First thing to notice was the hotels proximity to the city centre and shops it is well within walking distance. Next we were bowled over by the friendliness of the staff, have never met nicer. They were upbeat, funny, full of the banter and so informative and obliging. They seemed to love working there. Our room was a wheelchair accessible room. It was excellent in size, comfort, and cleanliness. Well done The Absolute Hotel. We plan on returning to this hotel and friendly Limerick again soon.

This hotel is beautiful. The staff are the friendliest and most helpful. The rooms are gorgeous and very spacious. We ate at the restaurant for breakfast and dinner and we were not disappointed.The hotel is quite central, about a 10 minute walk to OConnell Street and a 5 minute walk to the amazing Locke Bar.Theres nice views of the Shannon from the restaurant and beer garden.Definitely try the French toast for breakfast. Its so light and fluffy. Absolutely delicious!Ill definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for one night and will definitely be going back again, the hotel itself it top notch and the staff were fantastic, very accomodating. David at the front desk sorted us out with a free upgrade which was a lovely unexpected surprise.The restaurant downstairs was nice and had a good selection of cocktails.+ Friendly and accommodating staff+ Big and very comfortable room+ Food and cocktails in the restaurant were great. Reasonably priced+ The whole experience was fantastic.- Room service needed cash, no card machine on hand.
