Historical place
Stunning old Abbey with marvellous old architecture and amazing history. The inside of the Abbey is serene and calming and well worth a visit when in town. There’s a free history museum in the Abbey and also don’t miss the underground ancient crypt to truly go back in time!
MoreAmazing visit. Lots to see on the grounds let alone inside. Their cheese and beer were outstanding.
MoreIs ok..very tiny
A very sweet small town, seems perfect for a short trip. Also the hiking trails around are worth it if you are into that

Must visit. Well recommended for family and friends 👍👍
Its a huge church with buried saints. I get the feeling there are a lot of saints.
MoreSuitable for walking and having lunch. Its like a very small part of an old street in italy.
MoreSpecial place if you believe
Beautiful, fascinating church. Well worth a visit.
Beautiful!
Wonderfully historic building! It houses the remains of one of the patrons if Luxembourg.
MoreBeautiful
The great acoustics in this wonderful church made our choir and orchestra sound really good. We were kindly given a drinks and nibbles reception afterwards.
MoreAmazing gothic cathedral.
It is a beautiful old cathedral with a magical vibe
Ok. So the abbey is ok. It is not as good as the Notre Dame Cathedral in Luxembourg, but that being said this is a small village not a large town. There is a quaint market and some lovely restaurants in which to dine. You are a stones throw away from Germany but not close enough to walk to any German towns. Bus takes around an hour from Luxembourg city.
MoreCultural place. Great to see
Nice looking, but often closed
The Abbey was founded by St Willibrord, the patron saint of Luxembourg, in the 7th century.
