Tourist attraction with a soaring, 360-degree view from an observation tower & a restaurant-bar.
Aalborgtårnet in Aalborg
Description
Privilege
There view is nice but it feels like theyre trying to pack too much in the limited space up there. Theres a lot of tables standing close to each other, as well as a gift shop and people walking around taking pictures. Feels like one of those tourist attractions my parents wouldve gone to when they were kids.
MoreThis was the fourth time I visited Aalborgstårnet. I love to go there, take a coke and just watch the beautiful view. Its very relaxing. The staff there was very nice as usual. I recommend a visit.
MoreThe views are great. Café is a bit old and run down. But that’s part of the experience. A bit pricey to go up.
MoreWow what a great experience. Press the button at the bottom of the tower and wait for the elevator lady to take you up to the top. Enjoy great views of Aalborg from the tower whilst enjoying a nice cup of coffee (or lots of other thingsserved by lovely staff.
MoreGreat place to view Aalborg 🇩🇰👍
Food isnt great, the elevator is a bit scary, and the building seems ill maintained. The view is great though.
MoreWe enjoyed this quiet rather old-fashioned activity, ideal as a stress free activity. Good view of Aalborg, and great coffee :-)
MoreDefinitely a place to visit even if you are local. The view alone is worth it.
The tower is a lot of fun, but just enjoying the view from the hilltop over the city is worth the short hike from downtown.
MoreThe best!
A beautiful 360 view, but for the love of god please dont eat the food there. They dont clean anything, my mug had coffee cup stains at the sipping areas even though I ordered tea. The "Cake" was also very disappointing and not worth the price. And when having a peek at the fryer... dear lord that hasnt been cleaned for years probably. It was kind of disgusting. However the view was very beautiful and we came at a quiet time. The bell was also quite loud for when people want to go up.The stars are for the view, not the price or service
MoreThey should clean the windows and also add anti reflective coating, it is terrible to see outside or take pictures, also windows should open more, they allow too many people at the top and gets very crowded, with the price they charge it could be much cleaner and nicer.
MoreGreat place to get a complete view over Aalborg. Its small but theres a restaurant and you can sit down and have lunch with spectacular views. Prices are as expected from tourist attractions. When the wind blows you can feel a little bit of movement, so consider this if youre afraid of heights.
MoreThe food was a bit expensive for what it was, but I came there for the 360° view and I wasnt disappointed. Would recommend going there to others.
MoreNice tower and view, you can see the city from the top. It include a restaurent if u need to eat something special, every thing have a story there. You can ask the amazing women staff there about the story of your eat.🥰👍
MoreOld furniture. Just look is best
Nice view from tårn
The view over Aalborg can really be seen here. Its a fun but quite place to take your kids. So if youre looking for something that doesnt take to much time exploring and want a great view, this is a good place to consider.
MoreYou can get a beautiful view of the city. Worth to go at least once.
Although this is a beautiful area wander around, I had a hard time finding a bathroom, but maybe thats just me..
Moregot scammed, the tower was closed because they did not tell us when the opening hours where. they didnt tell us there was price to get in
MoreWent up there, place was packed. All tables taken and staff seemed terribly confused. They spoke amongst themselves that there was too many people but they also told guests they could sit as long as they wanted. Seemed disorganised, we left without ever sitting down. And due to that we didnt even manage to get close to the windows. I do not recommend. You have a high chance of just getting stuck up there. The cafeteria is like a 50s diner that could use some upgrades.
MoreVery nice viewpoint! It takes 40 DKK to go up, but there is restaurant and souvenir shop up there. The views extend beyond Aalborg and Norresundby.
MoreCouldnt go up as it is closed until march due to problems with the lift and the risk of freezing.
MoreSlightly outdated but charming and with nice views of the city. The quality and variety of food in the restaurant is quite limited.
MoreWe expected a tower you can walk around and have a 360 view, but when we arrived there was a crowded restaurant with no free tables. So we just stood there and waited. After 15 mins or so we could sit down and finally see the view. From this one point only, so we saw only little. It was a disappointment.
MoreVery interesting concept of eating in the sky, however the food is overpriced and not very good.
MoreLovely tower to get some excellent views of the city. Food was a bit for tourists (hot dogs, pizza, chips, etc.and they sell cheap souvenirs, but everything including entry was affordable and did the job. Great if you want to grab a coffee whilst getting some great shots.
MoreA very interesting place to have lunch, the staff was friendly and the place itself is a nice little attraction. The food isnt anything spectacular, just a selection between some deep fried fish, fries, sausages, and the likes, but that of course isnt that big of a problem since the restaurant is a tiny little booth 60m in the air built in 1930s. So if youre planning on going here expecting spectacular food you will be dissapointed.Didnt stop me from having a good time though.
MoreView is ok but the people attending were unfriendly.
Fantastic view, but a bit expencive. There is a cafe in the tower, but they mostly sell cheap ebay toys.
MoreLovely tourist attraction. You can see for miles and miles once youre at the top.😊Very affordable entrance fee. Quick service with the food. Great views. Lovely members of staff. Very friendly and child focused. Great family place. You can also hire it for business events (and maybe even parties?)
MoreAlways an experience going up in the lift, the rush of wind as the door opens. Then once up top the gentle swaying in the wind.
MoreDont expect something wow, but you have to visit it! Its a must do one in town!
Reasonable price n see the outskirts of Aalborg
Nice little cafė restaurant at the highest point in Aalborg. Nice for children too, but nothing for people who are afraid of elevators or hights. You can feel the building moving a tiny bit when up there. REALLY nice view though, and forest area on the ground. Nice for walks too. If you have nothing to do a cloud free day - give it a chance.
MoreGreat place in Aalborg and awesome photospot. I recomending it for everyone who want visit Aalborg.
MoreNice outlook and also restaurant at the top. Aalborg at hand.
A must see in Aalborg! If you dont know where you want to go in and around Aalborg, visit the tower and it tells you the hotspots with the distance you need to travel.
MoreThat is a nice 105m tower above Aalborg. A little bit old but it works with an elevator. You can see 360° all over the beautiful town. The fee for one person is 40DK and for a child 30DK. It is possible to drink and eat something at the top. One coffee 15DK is ok I think. Drinking coffee and look out of the windows was a nice break. The view is awesome on a nice day!
MoreReally good view of Aalborg from above.
Nice view over Limfjorden and Aalborg town. Tower is 55m tall and platform is standing 105m above sea level. Price 40dkk/adult, 30/child. There is a small restaurant on top.
MoreYou go up for the scenery - Skip the food. those frozen fries wasnt treated with care.
MoreGreat view over the city!! Reasonably priced drinks if you want to stop for a coffee at the top. Very quaint and friendly staff :)
MoreBeautiful views of Aalborg from up there.
View of Aalborg. There is a cafe on the top
Nice view of Aalborg from the top. There is an entrance fee.
Elevator with driver. Nice view from the elevator and the panorama all the way up.
MoreIts seem the top of the tower you can observe a beautiful view. Anyway, in a windy day, it wont operate. Entrance fee : 40kr for adult, 30kr for kid.
MoreVery nice place to look out over Aalborg, on a good day!
