AMELIA BEIRUT in Beirut

Very nice place, authentic architecture, it took us back to old Beirut architectural shapes modernized to fit the current era. Nice food, recipes and ingredients are well married together to give a unique flavor. Drinks are diverse, wide choice of cocktails, tasty and quality v/s price is of a good level. Good service, professional and friendly staff, you feel that they are doing their best to make your experience worth it and a good one. Ive been there more than once for a dinner, weekends or weekdays, always busy place.

The Vibes 10/10Toilet cleanness 10/10Food :The raw Salmon 8.5/10The goat cheese salad 9/10Shrimp Halloumi: 9/10 (excellent and recommended)Grilled chicken : very normal and basic and i believe it should be removed from the menu6/10Wasabi prawns : 6/10 (lots of mayonnaise)Pizza: Brazaoula ( was good and clean but nothing special 7/10Service : 10/10Toilet cleanness : very clean and tidyIm giving this place 5 star because its considered one of the Top places in Beirut. Just avoid to order the low rated dishes and try something else

Food, Service, Ambiance excellent! The truffle pizza, yellow tail hamachi were my favorites.

Gorgeous restaurant, but that’s it.Food is trash and service is horrendous. Manager is conceited, and doesn’t accept a guest’s feedback or opinion. Definitely not stepping back in there.

Great place to have a drink

The place is amazing! The drinks are off the chart! The food is savory. All the items on their menu are a must-try! The waiters are extremely friendly. The downside is that it is a bit expensive, and the music isn’t that great.

I choose 1 star because I can’t choose ZERO stars! No one starting with valet is professional! Place overrated. Plus I noticed that specific type of people enjoy it (stupid ones).

Place is so overrated.. unprofessional stuff and zero customer services . Very bad quality of alcohol specially whatever they use for pouring.. better have with you some headache pills if you ever decide to go there and grab few drinks , because of the bad quality of alcohol they use … 0 stars is more than Enough

Visited Amelia Beirut on Thursday 16/9/2021in a party of 6, overall the place is nice, the vibe is good.I specifically ordered multiple food items, including slamon ceviche, crab salad, truffle baby potatoes, and a truffle flatbread.(that was just my orderThe waiter didn’t mention to me that that’s a lot of food for one person.Both the crab salad and the salmon ceviche were rather warm, had a ton of mayonnaise, and got my stomach upset for the next day.The service was over exaggerated, we had one of the assistant waiters remove our napkins or half empty glasses non stop, jumping between conversations. I’d advise them to tone that down, allow people to socialize without continuous interruptions.Our drinks were good, nothing out of this world, we ordered 2 rounds of shots as well.We noticed that our bill had a few extra items charged that we didnt order, which they corrected afterwards. For a table of 6, and a place half full, I’d expect their waiters to be better.As we are leaving, the floor manager asked us about our experience and my wife was pretty vocal about it, they ended up offering us shots, that we took but that doesn’t change our overall experience.I went with 2 stars due to the food mostly, I wont be coming back unfortunately.

Very hip and vibrant ambiance with nice music, exquisite drinks and delicious mini platters.

It will remain my favorite place in Beirut. Reservation in advance is required!! Don’t miss thier Prato Pravda, shrimp halloumi roll, truffle pizza and salmon ceviche.The music in the restaurant is out of this world “AMAZING”

Amelia till that moment is the best pub/resto not only in Lebanon but also worldwide...ambiance exquisite...any plate you eat is unique and super delicious...stuff highly trained...

Amazing place

A hidden spot in the middle of Mar Mikhael street! The entrance is beautifully decorated with plants from both sides. The lighting is very well designed and the continuously flying plane adds a lot to the place.The food is very tasty, the waiters are friendly but very busy.The only downside is that its very crowded and there are more tables than the place can handle! Removing some tables would optimize the circulation between the tables!!!

5 stars for the incredible venue, 3 for the food and drinks (we only had dessert and drinks). Brownie was a complete fail, drink was overly sweet but really beautifully decorated. Such an unsuspecting beautiful bar/restaurant with an open roof (but still airconditioned- you would never guess this place was hiding on such a busy street. It has a bit of a spooky vibe, but in a good way, although the lighting was a bit strange, they’d make the lights flicker every once in a whilefor dramatic effect. Otherwise stunning location. Definitely recommend you check this place out if you’re in Mar Mikhael area.

A very nice atmosphere, a delightful cuisine and an exquisite place where you can gather with friends in a selective and high end ambiance. Age average is 40s, the music is nicely picked-up and the interior design is mixing lebanese traditions and modern style. I definitely recommend this place!

Hello,We visited the restaurant on the 21st of August for dinner.Although we had booked at the restaurant in a early hour at 8 pm because we wanted to have dinner with friends and we arrived on time,we were given a tight table.When we asked to change because the restaurant was almost empty, the waitress didnt accept first to give any other table, pretending that other tables are for 6 persons. After half hour the table was given just for two persons.Finally we were seated on a dirty table and no one from the staff showed up to do the cleaning and set up the table.The waitor suggested to us the Amelias drink. After ordering it, it turned up that it is not available.The staff was unprofessional and despite reporting the issue to the supervisor, he was not helpful and didnt show any kindness!The restaurants service is very bad.We decided to leave the restaurant on the spot. We dont recommend it at all!

A lovely restaurant which serves a delicious variety of food items that satisfy everyone regardless. Prices are reasonable and acceptable while the service is prompt and punctual. Hygiene is amazing and up to conditions and the staff is also friendly, dedicated and professional. The ambience and music also add to the whole experience.Highly recommended restaurant to anyone seeking a lovely dining experience.

Not really on my favorites list, as the age group of people there ranges between 40s and 50s.The music is weird and annoying.The place is over crowded, and the tables are too close to each other.The food is good and exotic though.

Cool venue where Terminal B used to be. Love the ambiance and old style Lebanese building that has been preserved and integrated into the design. Music was nice (but loud), air circulation could be better (wasn’t a fan of all the cigarette and cigar smoke that wouldn’t dissipate), food was delicious but a bit pricey (Angus steak dish was 38,000 LBP), crowd was sophisticated with a diverse age range, bathrooms were new, clean and tidy, and staff were friendly and accommodating. Among all the grungy bars in Mar Mikhael, this place stands out for offering much more and not being a typical hipster spot. Would return to this place!
