Retail chain selling a range of grocery items, including produce, meat & dairy.
excellent shop, cheap price but good quality. but they dont have many variety
Great supermarket highly recommended
Very quiet when I visited at 7.30pm on Saturday, October 15th.There was heavy rain at the time. However, it is usually a good time for a quick shop.
Just another version of lidl
I like this store because the waiting is very short at the counter.
Always a good experience for shopping as you find something new to try in your food experience. Aldi are always introducing new suppliers of great Irish food.
Excellent prices for my weekly shop
Clean ,excellenr value and accessable
Good, clean and friendly staff.
Exceptionally helpful as always. Very highly recommended.
Nice 🙂👍
Nice 🙂👍
Aldi has excellent prices on a wide variety of staple foods, and speciality items like continental cheeses. Significant savings are easily achieved every week. The only feature I dont appreciate is their packing bench; I have selected my items AND placed them in a convenient order on the conveyor- I dont want to sling them back into the trolley and then handle them a fourth time to reorganize them.
Variety of products, alternatives and special offers
Very good coustomer service
Very happy with the reduced queues due to extra checkouts in use. Better choice too.
Good prices but the only problem is that food expires very quickly. You have to freeze most of your meats.
Absolutely sick of buying meat in the Sligo store only to discover that it is stink, well before it reaches its best before date. Its happened several times, Chicken, Fish, Beef and now my Easter Lamb. There are big problems at the Sligo store with storage and handling of coldchain products.
Had everything I wanted.nice fresh bread and well stocked
Excellent as always. Fionnuala was so friendly and efficient on the checkout.
Cheap shop with great selection of products from all Europe
I shop here every week great produce, nice staff
Similar to Lidl, this is a German chain offering low cost food, clothing, household goods and fresh produce. Aldis in Sligo doesnt have a kitchen but carries similar range of products including alcohol. Good parking facilities with wheelchair access and parent and baby spaces. Its also just opposite Dunnes Stores which houses both the supermarket and the clothes outlets.
My favourite Special Buy weeks are when the craft supplies are in.
Clean, well stocked and friendly staff
Great value. Great range of produce. Great for my baking urge!
Lots of variety of grocery available at the best prices ..u cant find cheaper grocery anywhere in sligo else than Aldi ..
Strangely enough I questioned a worker as to why lots of products had their prices turned in towards the shelf therefore hiding the costs of each product. He said he was only doing what he was told...it wasnt just one or 2 products. It was almost 50%..can Aldi tell me why? I thought this was illegal
Easily accessible, wheelchair friendly, well stocked with good selection of food items, efficient service.
Excellent as always! I love the Aldi products, they are very good quality!
My answer to this store is me and my daughter was just about to go to do our shopping we waited for the green light and this woman just walked by us with no mask as if she owned the store and just went through the door
Most of the staff are incredibly rude and the manager was just awful. He contradicted himself multiple times and seemed like he just couldnt care less and just wanted me out of his hair. Its the only shop Ive ever come across where I dont care how good the value is, Im never setting foot in the door again.
Shop is grand but I do not like carpark it is too confined. I will pass if its any way busy
Pleasant atmosphere, wide aisles, broad range of products, good prices. The staff seems to be a bit annoyed and harsh.
Nice shop, got walking boots for Benbulin hike plus sunscreen but make sure to wear a mask.
You cant do any better for your shopping anywhere else. Produce is overall better than the Major Supermarkets a fraction of the price, as is most of the other products such as dairy, deli can goods, dry goods & toiletries, at a fraction of the price. Add to that the other general goods that are featured there and you wont find shopping convenience and value this good anywhere not even online.
Good market, good prices. Nice employees. With the exception of one person the Polish is very racist and his treatment is not pleasant. Anyway, I havent seen him for a while
This is the place to shop if your on low income & you want to keep on living in this very cruel society but listen up you got to rub shoulders with the rich here buying up all your grub that you need to survive on & then they drive away in their flashy jamjars knocking you down in the process!!! Typical disrespectful toe-rags as if there more important than the common townsfolk...I say to all show some politeness, it might just bring out some goodness in you if you have any?
Food good quality.Could do with more staff at checkout and great opening hours😁
Decent selection of items, but you should check dates on everything you buy especially fresh vegetables. The place usually has a few odd smells floating around and staff usually leave pallets laying around on the isles with no care for customers with trolleys/prams/wheelchairs.Ques can be long as there is never more than 1 till open when Im there, but sometimes they will open a second till if the que is really long.If your looking for a place to buy a few yougerts/chocolate bars/frozen pizzas this is the place. If you want quality fresh food, this is not the place
There was nice prawn and cod, you can find fish here.
Nice price especially love super 6 every week get fresh fruits and vegetables on reasonable price but need to open more tills they just open two to three tills which is negative point
Love aldis stores, prices are great and new stock every week. The staff are exceptional and pleasant and the Scottish manager in the Sligo store is so helpful, upbeat and friendly.
Got asked for id on my 25th birthday which was great but the girl on till smiled and wished me happy birthday. All staff are friendly and helpful. If something isnt on the shelf they check in the workhouse for it to make sure you leave the shop happy. Great bunch of people just like lidl so Id highly recommend shopping here. Great value too. Way cheaper than tesco or dunnes.
Crowded parking, because the place is popular. And rightfully so. They carry a vast assortment of goods, the place is clean, the staff is friendly, and the prices are great.
Lovely staff. Cheap food..good quality. .did I leave anything out. .best in the West. .
A busy store. Shelves are not being kept stocked as other Aldi stores. Store is a little disorganised and staff seem under pressure. Offers sell out quickly. Parking is available but as it is a busy store you might have to wait to get a parking space.
Would have given 4 stars as some of the staff are lovely. However the car park and store size are a joke, both way to small.
Very good grocery store, well stocked compared to other Aldis. They could be quicker at opening more registers when queues form
Nice shop, good wide walkways between shelves, items are easy to find and shelf tickets are kept up to date. The car park is a bit tight, or it would be 5 stars.
