AD Delhaize Junglinster - Shopping Centre in Saint-Avold, France
Great shop since the upgrade and the staff are still friendly and helpful. In particular the chilled food displays are secure in modern cabinets now, which helps keep the food colder than the previous stores approach. The only thing I do not like is the new quick serve counters, in short they are not very quick serve I always prefer to be served by a human rather than doing it myself, so to me the old approach was better hence why I removed a star. Parking is also a challenge, not enough spaces really.
Its just another delhaize
Year after year quality is going down in meat. Their complete renew is nice but some of the staff are really not friendly
Unfortunately this market became one of the worst supermarkets i have been to in the area. For over two decades this marked was absolutely gorgeous and had pretty hard to find items. In fact it was my favorite Delhaize in the country. Since the owner changed and for my knowlege the marked fell back to the Belgian chain, it became worse and worse. Items are scattered all over the place what makes it hard to find anything. No logic whatsorever, lots of products are no longer available, often floors are filthy, pallets are cluttered everywhere. Fruit and vegetables rott in a day or two, local produce almost vanished completely, prices are still going up but in my opinion at this place it has nothing to do with inflation.Since bags where prohibited in the country and people balancing their super expensive products with both arms to the car like apes i always apreciated Delhaize to put out empty cardboard boxes i always used. Unfortunately they are now located at the exit in a way you cannot reach them while checking out what defeats the purpose. Newly self check out counters are constantly having issues, i almost bought a bottle of coke for 10€. Products with QR code are only scanable when covering it, meats from the counter have multiple barcodes on it for whatever reason so you fiddle around to find the one that actually works. While having all your stuff in hand you need to scan the reciept at the exit to make the door open what also is a pitty when there are two differend barcodes on it…All in all its sad to see what became out of this once wonderful place….
There have been renovations with entirely new sections that make things easier to find, and add more variety.

Nice choice offered and now after the recent renovations there are also self checkout machines which is great because before you had to wait so long for the cashier during peak hours.Floors were quite dirty though but maybe that was because it was the end of the day.
Unfriendly cashier lady, understaffed and slow.
Ive been going there for years, but unfortunately since the change of ownership in summer 21 plenty of things changed for the bad. Narrow choice, empty shelves, not so fresh fruit and vegetables, broken bottle deposit machine, long waits,...hope they will find their way back to former quality level
Delhaize has a good choice of products but the prices are on the high side!
Very disappointed after the renovation in June 2021.Positive:- You can finally buy sandwiches made by Delhaize instead of that dry and soggy stuff from Siello.- New and higher caddies.Negative:- Delhaize in Junglinster does not participate in the fidelity program concerning sandwiches.- The space next to the exit where you could get free boxes disappeared! :(- No self service cash registers!- There are like in Action now indications, where you can only pay by card.- The caddy has a place for a scanner like in Auchan, but the funny thing is, Delhaize Junglinster doesnt even have scanners to use 😂- Crisps are spread over the whole shop! If you are searching for Lays small, then you have to go at the end of the shelf on the right side, whereas the big bag is on the left side. If you are looking for bbq flavoured crisps, then you have to look two rows behind you, the same for sauces. As it came to my ears, that you planned to kick Luxlait products out of your supermarket... I just tought "shame on you!". People living in Luxembourg like to support local producers!
I changed and re-edited my previous positive note. After recent changes in June 2021 the quality of the shop dramatically lowered. It was a place where you could find a great selection of products not only Delhaize but local, gluten free, it was a real quality. Now it is just a basic Delhaize where a great lot of products sold before disappeared. If you look for the products I mentioned and you remember the choice that this shop was know for you might be disappointed
They have a good butchery and most ladies are always friendly. Its been a year I posted this. After a year Ive been going to Del Haize, the only big supermaket in Junglinster, which was a plus when we moved to this commune and closed down for a week.New management they said. Now the place is close to terrible...the new management cared nothing about clients, buying habits and confort but bussines I mean food for them but.might need to remember clients make bussines. They know people living here is a captive market. Most people who live in Junglinster buy in Junglinster Supermaket and butchery. And go there at least once a week. The usual.selection of products you can not find, besides that it seems the cashiers are less skilled since they are not able to weight fruits and vegetables and now you have to line up for a while to use one of the only 2 scales they have in the area...and for bakers same thing they are not able any more to use a machine to sliced the bread so as clients that go there every week need.to.do it.Client service they call it and it is close to dead and impersonal now in the New Del Haize in Junglinster.By closing down a week I had to go to Aldi where theres less variety, I was expecting after opening a nice and comfortable supermaket like in the past with a good variety of products and no its not.A big...huge.. Buu! to the new Del Haize in Junglinster.
Ok
They have great deals sometimes. Their assortment in vegetarian options is astounding! I love their two for one deals on all veggie burgers etc, but they also have a wide array of vegan ice creams and other frozen vegetarian gems. My ultimate favourites are the vegetarian bitterballen, which I havent found anywhere else in Luxembourg!
Good butcher - try their Filet Americain and Rieslings PaschtéitFor the BBQ tasty meat with great marinades
Complete
Good parking facility and lot of stores near by in the complex.
You have everything you need and it is not so busy.
Best supermarket in Luxembourg for vegetables. Their potatoes are great and flowery.
OK
Sadly very small choice of vegetarian and vegan options, but apart from that a super market where you can find things for your daily needs.
Ok
good small shop..but prices to high for most products
Bla bla delhaize
good food and nice staff.very helpful.
Good supermarket
Very crowded cash registers and a very small parking lot.
Good shopping place
An average supermarket, nothing impressive, nothing bad
good mall
Belgian quality and great selection at a good price. AND a super team to serve you.
Nice produce
Its ok. Like some, dislike some.
Not really beautiful but got everything that you need.
My favourite grocery shop in Lux. Good balance as far as range of products and a bit cheaper and Auchan or Cora.
Nice calm atmosphere. Great place to get the weekly shop
Pay attention to the best before dates.
