Terrible place, dont ever go there... Website says that the kitchen is open DAILY until 10pm, but kitchen is closed by 9 pm. The guy attending to the tables was extremely rude. We arrived 9, tried to order, they just said the kitchen was already closed. Ive ordered a pizza across the street, was consuming another round of their beer and they made me leave because consuming the pizza is not allowed. I could be there still consuming their beer while their kitchen is closed. Bad management and service.

I had one of the worst experience ever in my whole live across 7 countries I had visited.I am not planning to be there again.

Me and my friends came hungry to this place. We ordered drinks and said that we want to order something to eat, so waitress guy brought us a menus. After like 10-12mins waiters guy came again sayin that kitchen is closed. I was really disappointed, cause me and my friends came from another city, to spend a good time in Hilversum, but our experience started from this.In addition, waitress completely messed up the drinks that we ordered, he brought 4 instead of 5 drinks, cause he “forgot”. Also he brought not the thing that we ordered…I hope that restaurant itself is good, but this waitress guy made my personal experience awful.

Great burger variety, served with delicious french fries!

The fries and burger were both almost cold when served ontop of that the crispy chicken burger didnt taste like chicken more like a vegan burger because they added a lot of spices to the meat. The Normal burger was overly cooked and thus very dry, while they stated that all burgers were served medium rare. This was sadly far from true.Overall disappointed, while the service and prices were good.

Nice restaurant to visit and nice hamburgers. The best Marten and Janita. We arrived late with kids and their attendance was fantastic. They were very kind and helped us a lot. When you arrive to a foreign country with your kids and you cant find where to have dinner.... and somebody helps you.... its something that you will really appreciate it. Thanks Marten, thanks Janita. Its for sure we will visit you, earlier this time.

A great place for high quality tasty burgers. Lovely service and nice atmosphere.

Ok I dont have any pictures, but that burger joint is really good. Food is great, they are missing normal Cola. The staff is also very polite and attentive, not being to pesky or nagging. Outside garden is well organised, separated from rest of the pavement. I really enjoyed that place.

Waited two hours for the food to arrive. The food was horrible. The fries and burgers were cold and the chef didn’t even try to present the food nicely. One burger was even raw. I just cannot recommend this place.

Burgers were great! Amazing selection, difficult to pick one. So we will have to come back. Fries were also good, and the nachos 👌Green salad was a bit plain, and the burger buns were really soft which makes it a bit difficult to eat. Burger becomes slippery. But the taste was still amazing. Definitely recommend this place.

Great food and friendly staff. The Bulleit burger and onion rings were delicious. If you have a sweet tooth like me, save some space for the white chocolate cheesecake. You wont be disappointed.

Excellent burgers, beers and prices. Try the onion rings. Everything was great, if I have to name any issues it was that the seating wasnt too comfortable. But dont let that stop you from checking this place out.

I would give this place a pass... Thought the burger its self wasnt bad it was definitely not worth what I paid for it. Due to taste and texture I suspect the patty was premade/frozen, and the barbeque sauce was unmistakably the same you can buy yourself at Albert Hien, topped with one of those fakes cheddar slices. With a price just under 13 euros for the burger alone I felt really let down.

We decided to try the burgers and it was amazing. I will totally be back.

Is it the best burger I had in my life, no. Does it come close? Hell yeah!! The burgers are perfect taste great and fresh! Affordable and instantly rewarding. Go and treat yourself to some great food!

The food is quite good and well priced. The service is a bit slow at times but the staff is quite friendly.

As my boyfriend described it: "one of the best burger Ive ever had." And he knows his burgers. Im easy to satisfy, but my boyfriend... So this is a great compliment for any restaurant I believe. I enjoyed the food, the view and the service. Nothing wrong with anything and Im happy to come back here.

Does what it says in the tin. Burgers, at a cafe. Actually one of the better posh burger places around, because they have focused on the food - which is tasty, well cooked and uses excellent ingredients.

I have tried nachos, onion rings and XXL Burger. And all of them are delicious. Onion rings are made from real onions. Burger patties are juicy.

Everything here is great: the service, the environment, the burgers... Music can be a bit too loud to have a normal conversation but thats really the only negative thing to point out. Amazing place!

For a Burger place in the Netherlands its a good one. Of course, it cant beat same type of restaurants in Canada or US. Average burger alone is 12-13€, add 5€ to make it a meal. Can become expansive quickly. They would benefit from a more diverse or changing menu. There is so much possibility to experiment with burger topings, i wish they would give it a try.

Really tasty food, very reasonably priced, big portions and friendly and helpful staff. All you can ask for when youre out for either a quick bite, or a full blown dinner.

No concept of service. I ordered take out for the family. They forgot part of my order (which I paid in fullbut were not willing to resolve the problem. There solution (“I want to meet you half way”), was to repay me what I did not get, but I had to go there myself to collect it. When i said I was having this for dinner they replied that they cannot do house calls. Who caused this problem to begin with? Plenty of other restaurants to choose from in the same street, just don’t go here if you want to be treated as a customer.

The food here is excellent! The atmosphere is a little too student for my liking, but definitely not bad. Service is extremely friendly and helpful, albeit a little slow at times. Overal, worth a repeat visit.

I travel too much: Vegas once a year. Amsterdam, Sweden, Paris and London every month. Of all the places I eat this is the one I enjoy most. A relaxed atmosphere, consistently good food and an awesome beer selection.On the high street of a relatively sleepy town outside Amsterdam this is by far the best burger place I know.The Spanish burger is good but the Ereburger is fantastic. Drink Affligem blonde with food then finish with La Chouffe.

Pretty okay down to earth burger joint. Not the best burger youll ever have but worth it nevertheless. Ask them about the Gooiburger.
