Kids age 17 and under stay at no extra cost with an adult. There's a laid-back restaurant/bar. Other amenities include a 24/7 gym, meeting space and a business centre. Breakfast and parking are available for a surcharge.
It wasn’t a good experience because someone block 6-7 cars way and I had to leave early in the morning around 4:30 and I was stuck till 9 o clock and I missed my appointment.Sadly, the night staff lady she wasn’t helpful, she didn’t even bother to check who has parked the car, the next hotel guy checked in their system and it wasn’t their customer but the AC staff didn’t even bother to check. They said we can’t help, it was very bad experience I had.
Very welcoming, helpful staff, a comfortable room and great location for our visit. The breakfast was good.
After waiting for 30mins via Marriott App and 2 calls (1 didn’t even get through), they told me they don’t have cotton bud. This is not up to standard to its price and stars level.
Stayed at this hotel recently and it was mostly good but I have to leave a note about my dining experience. I ordered a Mediterranean vegetable pizza and was served the most bizarre pizza I’ve ever had! No Mediterranean vegetables to be seen, instead it was broccoli, spinach and carrots!!?? I queried why I wasn’t given what I ordered and the chef’s response was that he uses whatever seasonal vegetables are available!! They should really make this clear on the menu, I really struggled to eat the worst pizza I’ve ever had!
Excellent value for money, spacious and comfortable. Nice to have a fridge in the room and a shower with good pressure also (two must haves in this day and age).Currently undergoing external renovations which had no effect on my stay and the staff were friendly and helpful. Will be staying again.
Fantastic hotel bedroom really good staff very friendly and helpful plenty of space to chill out tables to use your laptop etc and a library to chill outBreakfast great
Lovely hotel, not too expensive and great location across the road from the quays.
Very clean hotel, great location. Room was on the 8th floor, nice view, comfy bed, friendly staff.
One of the better Hotels in Manchester , Think her name was Natalina was very accommodating and took care of complications for me very well cant praise her higher .
A nice stay at the hotel for business. Food was nice in the hotel and breakfast had a good selection. Room was nice and bed very comfortable. However, the scaffolding around the building was an eyesore and there was also roadworks going on outside which was noisy.
Would never go back there again. Me and my partner went here 7 months ago. The person on the front desk offered to put our number plate in the system as we had so many bags. To find out they put it in wrong. Then to know that we have a £100 fine. We tried to appeal it and got rejected to this, even though we have all the emails and receipts to prove all this. Then as my partner found out the parking company tried saying he would get a ccj and try taking him to court from this (baring in mind my partner is in the military and doesnt live at home to sort all these letter out). How disgusting. We then rang up to find out that the staff couldnt do anything about this as the car park is nothing to do with them. So we told them to look at cctv to see that your staff member put it in wrong. Waited nearly 2 weeks for a refund they told us we would get and the fine to be disregarded- still no money in our accounts the hotel and this parking company have not been not helpful at all. The hotel apparently cant get hold of the parking company because its a private company. How bad is this customer service… from both parts. Do not stay at this hotel its so much hassle for what a good night away was suppose to be. So disappointed with this.Absolutely awlful. How can you treat customers like this.
Comfortable clean rooms. Staff are friendly and helpful. Ideal location for several venues, small car park behind hotel but additional public parking is available over the road
Here with work. A very nice hotel and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was cleaned and tidy. Likes the fact there was no carpet. Although felt I needed some slippers 🙂. Breakfast was ok. Sausages a little over done and food being kept warm was barely warm. Gripe I have with hotels I stay at is they dont use a plate warmer, which would help a bunch. Other than that, was a pleasant stay.
Location would be good there wouldnt be a major road construction around it. Hotel has a cold atmosphere, while check in staff was friendly. Breakfast is mediocre. Scaffolding around the hotel ( no advice upfront), so even on a Saturday you need to have the blinds closed to avoid workers being able to look in.
Lovely and clean, 12pm checkout time was great after a concert the night before. 2 trams away from the City centre and AO arena (tram stop is over the road). Staff were all great.
Awful experience. We were part of a coach tour waited about an hour and a half for a meal which was booked for 7 45! The next night was equallly dreadful! A buffet.. with all selections foreign and spicy. I couldnt eat any of it chef did cook plain chicken and chips..which i had the evening beforeThey had absolutely no idea. However breakfast was good buffet style. Thanks to Wendy.. a lovely waitress who did her very best to pacify diners..On the whole.. the result would be.. never return.
Very nice rooms, comfy and modern. Lovely lounge and bar. 😍Most staff are extremely nice but have ran into 2 with bad attitudes so far. Please hire people who understand not to argue with guests when the guest is simply asking for a solution over a misunderstanding. As a business owner, it was very distasteful to come ask if my food could be reheated bc it was cold (we misunderstood over the phone, due to accent barrier, that I was OK with the surcharge for room serviceto be met with an argumentative girl who kept talking over me & getting snappy instead of focusing on the solution. I didn’t come downstairs with an attitude nor was I rude - I even said “I Don’t mean to be a bother” before asking for help. Why would you be arguing with me like I came for your neck?Another staff cuts me off early every time I ask a question.Other than that, the young guys are pleasant, the older women and men were pleasant as well.
Lovely hotel to stay at, but if you’re working here don’t bother. It was my first time cleaning the rooms and now doing house keeping, despite my effort. I was sent home early, tried speaking to the manager telling her it was my first time, she listen one thing I did badly (couldn’t make the bedsand ignored everything else I did, (cleaning the toilets, windows, mopping and hovering). She told me that because I was an agency member I would not be trained. Then I found out through another agency worker that he had been trained when he first started. Left my power bank in the room. Went upstairs to go and get it and the manager had taken it. Then I proceed to knock on her door and she shuts the door in my face. Absolutely disgusting that they treat workers like this.
Friendly and helpful staff, nicely presented rooms. I would have taken off 1/2 mark for lack of parking because or works in the area but the night manager was super helpful and managed to fit my car over night with a touch of innovation. Highly recommend
Excellent stay in the hotel as the receptionist Ben has been extremely helpful and friendly. Will be back again if family goes to Manchester again. Thanks AC Hotel and Ben.
I had finished work and came in for a drink. The bar man Sean was so lovely! He recommended a drink that I tried which was delicious and is now a favourite of mine! Sean went above and beyond and even though I wasn’t staying for the evening he had enquired about upgrading me! Had I have been staying I would have been upgraded! Thank you for such a lovely welcome Sean and Ben! I will most definitely be back again! Thank you for your kindness and hospitality! Xxx
Remember to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking your room. They compare hundreds of hotel sites and typically will have rooms much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This resort is one of my favorites in the area. I have been staying here for a long time. If you choose this place you wont be disappointed.Stayed here the last 3 weeks with work. Absolutely fantastic service from the team, Laura, valentina, Shane, Vanessa, Iuri, if sure Ive forgotten a few. The rooms were very clean, tidy and well presented. The food in the restaurant was lovely and nothing was to much hassle for the staff. Would defo stay there again.
I stayed here for 3 weeks for a work event excluding weekends which meant I moved room each week (due to bookingsand each week on the eighth floor. The hotel staff are absolutely lovely, very welcoming indeed and the food in amazing. However, the House Keeping team had absolutely zero continuity, some days my items (shower gel, shampoo, water, tea, etcwere replenished and other days they were not meaning I had to heaad down to ask reception to fetch these items. Also, 2 of my 3 rooms had no working air conditioning meaning my room was quite warm ( did report but wasnt sortedand with road works happening all through the night immediately outside the hotel, I couldnt really keep my window open. Also the beds are on castors meaning any movement during the night sounded as if the bed was being dragged along the floor. Overall it is a nice hotel but not for the price they charge, I think these prices would better suit a fully functioning hotel.
Nice hotel with a great location if you are working or visiting the Quays. Staff are friendly and checking in and out is quick and painless. Rooms are nice enough but could use some improvement, Ive had leaks and other minor issues over the course of the year but they do the job.
