Disappointed! Came all the way from Gujranwala cantt on 28th Aug with family. Found closed whereas website said it is open. Stupid guard kept telling lies and didnt share contact of Mr Arif to seek permission to open. Same is the state of affairs for arts at national level.
MoreBeautiful museum
Worth it

Chughtai Museum is just northwest of the intersection of Ferozpur Rd and Gulberg Main Blvd. Recognised as Pakistans greatest painter and credited with a single-handed renaissance in Islamic art here, Chughtai (1897-1975produced almost 2000 watercolours, thousands of pencil sketches and nearly 300 etchings and aquatints. He also designed many of Pakistans stamps and coins.
