I grew up listening to Abba. Visiting this Museum was such a wonderful memories for me. They have such a wonderful collection ranging from clothes to cars, guitar and their personal belongings and other stuffs. You can even buy a good collection of T-shirt, badges, and other souvenir from the shop. If you are Abba fan then please do visit.

I would say the entrance is a bit overpriced but if you finnally decide to go in you must think of it like a musical amousemnt park for ABBA lovers, you must dance and be willing to have fun and dont be afraid of ridicule. Beside the story of the group you have the chance of experiencing singing in a Studio Booth and also on stage with "them", etc.. I f you want to watch all the videos they provide, there is even a movie, I recommend going with enough time.

What a treasure! Well worth the expense of the tix if you love Abba. Their story came alive with photos and displays, including the recording studio and the opportunity to sing along (via karaoke:)There are multiple immersion opportunities to sing songs and view their tours, which was pretty cool.

It was a fantastic experience! We had a great time. I recommend to book tickets online so you don’t have to wait for a longer queue. They also have audio guide to help you more understand the information inside the museum. If you are Abba fanatic, then don’t miss this out! ❤️

What a great museum. Everyone was into it and having fun. Very well presented. This will be one of my favorite museums of all time. Going through the forming of the group, the career, concerts, excitements, and finally the sorrow of the breakups. Laughter, happiness, and sorrow all in one. Well done ABBA The Museum. Every ABBA fan should come to Stockholm and experience the ABBA museum.

If you are in Stockholm you must pay tribute to ABBA, the only band I can think of outside the UK or US to go global. Yes, it was pure pop, but fun. The museum in pretty basic, with clips and costumes, but fun nonetheless. You can sing ABBA karaoke in a recording booth or with a hologram of the band.

I had to choose between many museums that required an entry fee and I decided to come to the Abba museum. It was worth it. I learned a lot about the band and the individual members. There are quite a few activities that are pretty nice to do. Like singing alongside the holograms as a 5th member or karaoke or knowledge tests. I took many pictures and I bought some nice souvenirs. The toilets were clean and cute. I totally recommend.

This is a wonderful museum telling the history of the band Abba. The exhibitions are amazing and a great tribute to a great musical group. They do a good job telling the story of the members and then showing their time together and their post Abba works. There are a lot of interactive areas to let you song, dance and also a virtual giggle flight in a helicopter flying over the Archipelago’s showing where some of their hits were written. If you have some time while in Stockholm and enjoy music you need to visit this place.

First of all the entrance fee is way too high.Secondly I did not think the museum was that great.Often you would stand in one place and hear the music and voice sequences of several screens and boxes at the same time. So it was hard to focus.I also did not find the exhibits overly exciting.Maybe it is worth it for real Abba fans. But for someone like me, who likes their music an wanted to know a little more about the band it was not worth it.Everything was really superficial. Especially, the split and the time after are barely mentioned. And yes I saw the "boxes" for each member for their time after Abba, but I felt that was presented rather poorly and boring.I dont know what I was expecting to be honest, but I left the museum with a sense of disappointment and regret to having spent so much money on it.

What a cool museum! You need to love the ABBA world to fully appreciate it! I recommend you to book your spot online at least the night before your visit. When we visited we had to wait for 1 hour because we hadnt book online and the spots were all taken.

Its got some amazing memorabilia but the site is too small and it doesnt explore the breakdown in the members relationships. Its that that made songs like Knowing Me, Knowing You so special. You have to buy tickets in advance.Truthfully the Beatles Story does the job of telling a bands history much better.

Loved every second there. If youre an ABBA fan or grew up listening to them, it is a must visit. If youre a person who generally loves music, its also a great place to visit. Brings back so much childhood memories for me. Has a few interesting fun interactive sections, the narrative really lets you in on who and what makes them ABBA and how huge they were in the rest of the world. My only criticism is that they should place better direction or guidance on the flow of the whole experience. We ended up starting from the end because we went the wrong way. And had to go against the flow to get to the start point. We were not the only ones I believe.Place can get quite crowded as exhibits are pretty packed in to each other. Also, youll revisit all ABBA songs after the trip 😊.Do:1: Get your tickets in advance through their website. We got ours 24hours before the time slot and generally most slots were still available.2: Go and queue up 10-15 minutes before your booked time as they let in 10-15 ppl at a time so as not to crowd the entrance.

Plans for a dedicated to an ABBA exhibition in Stockholm, inspired by the Beatles museum in Liverpool, England, were first announced by founders Ulf Westman and Ewa Wigenheim-Westman in 2006.The exhibition was expected to open in 2008. Organizers estimated it would draw half a million visitors annually.[6] The exhibition was to be located in the former main customs building in Stockholm harbor. After several years of financial issues the project was abandoned in 2009, and the building was instead set to hold a new contemporary photography exhibition, called Fotografiska.[7]New plans for a permanent ABBA exhibition were announced on 3 October 2012. The exhibition in Stockholm, called "ABBA The Museum", is the permanent home for the traveling ABBAWORLD exhibit that toured Europe and Australia in 2009–2011, and houses stage costumes donated by the band members. There are also several interactive audio and video stations that allow visitors to perform the bands music. The exhibition is located in a building near the Gröna Lund theme park on the island of Djurgården.

This immersive museum is full of fun and dynamic exhibits that anyone that is a fan of ABBA will not be disappointed. Theyve recreated a variety of settings from various points in the bands history and have costumes, video montages and more. That said, its a very busy place and so it can be tough to actually experience each element as it is so crowded.

I swear, this is the best thing I have done when visiting Stockholm, I have no regrets. Its such a funky little museum - I was in awe seeing all the iconic original costumes worn by Abba as well as all the cool photo opportunities we had. The Abbatar experience was also fun, getting to pretend you were in the band. Its a very interactive museum, with a guided audio tour and lots of things to do.There were also lockers to keep your stuff in when walking around the museum.

Love their music! Love this museum! At first it seemed like it was going to be cheezy and small, much to my surprise, there was a lot to see and learn about. It kept going and going! I walked in just fine, walked out dancing! And then Waterloo was stuck in my head all afternoon….Did have to make a reservation and we got there 30 minutes early and they wouldn’t let us in. Not an issue as we had a cocktail at the connected bar and people watched.

As an ABBA fan I really appreciate unique pieces and how the museum put together Abbas’s history for those who are not into their history. But personally I don’t think the museum should charge you an extra 20 kroner for audio tours, considering that the audio is exactly the same as what you can read on the walls next to everything and that the entrance fee is very high and included in less expensive museums.

This was my first choice when I was in Stockholm for the day, and I wasn’t disappointed. Go early (10am when it opensto beat the crowds, and to take people-free photographs. Book online to be just waved in.The museum explains the four growing up, first musical performances, meeting each other, the romances, the Eurovision Song Contest (1974), those magical singalong songs, the breakup of the band, and their activities since (films, shows, etc.).The museum is filled with stage outfits, the lights, records and gold discs, memorabilia and mementos. There is a recording studio, a cinema, you can even perform yourself.Of course, exit is through the gift shop. You walk in, but you’ll dance out. Truly it’s excellent if you like ABBA!

We loved it. Lots of interactive exhibits. I would suggest buying the tickets in advance for a timed entry. Allow about an hour to get through the exhibits. But take as long as you like. You can purchase an audio tour but there is a QR code for a free version if you have your phone and headphones.

Beautiful museum showings the full history of ABBA, including many objects belonging to the band members. The studios, the silicone replicas and dancing with holograms were my favourites. The only thing I didnt like was the weird "put your face on an ABBA member" animation. But it was so bad that it became fun. There are nice t-shirts in the shop as well.

For every ABBA lover, this is a must-see! There are several floors, each of which is jam-packed with well-crafted material. From personal stuff to each band members personal past. There are several fascinating interactive exhibitions where you may mix your own tune or even join the band as a fifth member. The exhibition also has some fun interactive features, such as listening to music and even sing certain songs. I went on a weekday and it was fairly crowded. Its jam-packed with memorabilia, costumes, vinyl/CD/cassette releases, publicity, and news. I would suggest setting up at least 2 hours to really explore the area.

The best place ever. Was here in 2013 and loved it then. When i knew i was returning to Sweden from Australia to visit my friend down the south, we decided a trip to Stockholm was vital and the Abba museum was first on our list.Well it was even better the second time. We spent nearly 2 and a half hours there reading and watching things an participating in the fun activities .Highly recommend. We even decided to stay in the hotel attached to it. Wonderful.

Very nice museum that travels through the story of ABBA, from the childhood of the four members to their legacy after they split up. There are both items typical of a classic museum, like memorabilia and costumes from their concerts, and interactive stations where you can sing or mix their songs. The ticket price with audioguide included is 270 SEK, too high in my opinion (average for other museums is 160 SEK).

Such a great museum. Especially for ABBA and music fans. The detail here is fantastic and since I was there last in 2018 so much has been added. We enjoyed the museum. Nice story about ABBA, their members, the crew and management, the history and projects. Off course enough music and music related, but also about the outfit, sound and lighting.Nevertheless I think the price is a bit high for what is offered. A price of 150 SEK would be more appropriate.
