Potentially THE best tuna tacos I’ve ever had in my life - fresh, bursting with flavor, and complemented by an excellent pisco sour; the perfect snack!! (We didn’t have time to stay longer or else we would have tried more!)

We stopped by because we were looking for something light to eat and ceviche sounded like the right thingThe place looked nice so we set outside, there we enjoyed the breeze, the view to the park, the friendly service and of course the foodNot only that it was really good, the dishes are all creative fusion combinations that makes them very interestingPlace prices are on the high side, but we got our mom worthAs a comment to the Cevicheria team, before writing my own review I read some of the previous reviews, and I noticed that most of the replies to one star reviews are cut & paste. Consider a more personal and relevant response

What a place! We went here shortly after we landed in Lisbon after a long travel day. The food, atmosphere, staff and of course, the delicious Pisco Sours, were all memorable and incredible. Elevated Peruvian cuisine at its finest. We had an awesome interaction with the enthusiastic manager that made our night — a truly special place to add to your Lisbon list.

Found this place based on a recommendation from a travel blog, a bon traveler. Having gone to another of her recommendations the night before, my partner and I were hopeful (the place had been nice but the high price point hasn’t met the quality we expected— A Cevicheria was AH-MAZ-ING. Amazing. Delicious. Surprising. Delightful. Lovely. Truly a memorable experience. This place doesn’t do reservations but it is well worth the wait! The staff and service were exceptional and the food, again, one of the best meals I’ve had. Hands down ever. This is a must visit when you’re in Lisbon — there is no bad dish. I could not pick a favorite. All had great balance — and we did pick ones that intrigued us: Portuguese style ceviche, tuna and fois gras ceviche, tuna tartare tacos, and the caco platino dessert. 🤤Tip: Do sit at the counter, its a great pleasure to watch the team prep the dishes!

We went to Chevicheria for dinner based on recommendations during our trip to Lisbon and we absolutely love it. The best chevice we have ever eaten. Super service - and the slightly more expensive price-performance ratio is absolutely justified with what you get. Really 1A quality!

Went there on our first day in Lisbon (looks like many of us here).Good things: the food is really tasty and unusual, presentation is pretty. The stuff are very nice once they serve you, but when you try to get a table you’ll need to wait for someone to pay attention to you (come early!).Things I wasn’t ready for: 27€ for two glasses of Pisco Sour (I haven’t even asked the price, assuming it will be below 10€). I find it way too expensive, given that the food was ok priced.Gets very busy in the evening, lots of people were waiting in the line. If we came later, I would’ve not waited for the table. We arrived around 19:30.

Recommended but…I love these kind of place around the world. Here at A Cevicheria the quality of the raw food is amazing and the menu absolutely at high level. It is probably the best cevice I have ever eaten !The missing star is about the service. These kind of places needs professional waiterWe waited quite 2h for a table for 4 people (in the meanwhile we had an happyhour outside the placeand waited so much long time for all the course we have order.Overall I really recommend this place if you have patience ;-)

Very interesting food I would say. It’s definitely an experience considering all different ingredients and flavours. I won’t rate with more stars because I felt the chairs and space were not that comfortable for the price; we sat outside. Anyway, great experience.

The worst ceviche we have ever had. Fish is not properly cleaned and random chunks served among colourful and fancy looking albeit random, tasteless and unfresh garnishing. Dirty cutleries and bathroom. We enjoyed the pisco sours and the lady serving our table was very friendly, helpful and apologetic. You might want to skip the lines here entirely and head straight to have a simple but tasty tacos down the street.

I very much enjoyed eating at A Cevicheria. When walking up the first thing I noticed was that they were slammed, with 5-6 people waiting for a table. Luckily I was dining solo so I was able to snag a seat at the bar with the help of their friendly host.Service took a bit which was expected based on how busy they were. I was recommended their pisco sour Peruvian drink, ceviche puro, tuna tartare and tobiko taco. The drink was very good, the ceviche was okay it was oddly complex, and lastly the tacos were delicious. All in all a great restaurant if you’re in the mood for seafood and lots of it.

I was disappointed! Far too expensive for what it has to offer! Only the tuna cheviche was something worthy. A celebration in the mouth. Tacos of tuna loin were tasteless and the octopus with potato puree mediocre. I think there is a huge fuss about this restaurant and it became a trend, but there are better restaurants to eat in Lisbon.... The staff was very nice though!

The restaurant came highly recommended from a couple of locals we met in the Portugal that we had to give it a go and we were impressed! If you miss having some Peruvian civiches than look no further! Civicherria has a great selection to choose from with various interesting mix of flavors! I particularly liked the beetroot civeche, additionally they had two hot dishes in the menu and you cant miss the octopus!I loved the vibe which was constantly bustling with people great selection of music and enjoyed chatting to the team on the bar.If you are craving for Peruvian food then this is the right choice for you !

We got 5 ceviche dishes (salmon, tuna, prowns, Portuguese, cod/octopus). All of them were overly salty for our liking. Too much was done to the fresh seafood to really appreciate the freshness of the ingredients. We had high expectations but unfortunately this place didnt work for us. Our food also took an hour to arrive. The Tuna tacos were great.

I had the Portuguese ceviche which was delicious! Super fresh and unique. The menu looked fantastic. I didn’t like the pisco sour - it shouldn’t be served in a champagne flute.Unfortunately the table service was painstakingly slow. I only ordered one dish, since I had dinner later in the evening, but I waited for 45 minutes before the ceviche came. Then again, waited another 30 minutes for the check. It looked like management was a little disorganized or maybe training new staff.I suggest to try for a seat at the bar instead!

Best meal in Lisbon so far! The lobster ceviche was legit the best ceviche we’ve ever had. Also quinoa risotto was an interesting change of pace and the seafood was cooked perfectly.

What you’d expect from an awesome cevicheria. Well-priced and the food was fresh and delicious. Nice casual vibe as well. Not easy to find spots if you’re a big group so i’d recommend splitting up. Availability is left to chance we spent 2 days trying to find a spot for 6 that didn’t require us to wait 3-4 hours, the 3rd day we walked in and were seated immediately. Worst case hang around and enjoy their pisco sour :)

This. Place. Is. So. Good. You can’t miss this if you’re in Lisbon. I’m still talking about the food!Of all the places we discovered in Lisbon, A Cevicheria was my favorite food experience. It was a combination of factors - weather - hunger level, need for delicious wine and that we had tried to get in 3 days before and couldn’t as the line was too long.Be prepared to wait as its waiting list only - but at least you can get amazing pisco sours and house wine while your wait. There are some outside bar-height tables or inside bar or table seating. For food, you have a few options of ceviche, a sandwich, tacos, salads and heavier dishes. We had the beetroot tuna ceviche which was so so delicious, and ordered two orders of the tuna tacos because they were a flavor explosion that we needed more of!!We also ate the quinoa with tempura shrimp, fish and a foam that was a perfect complement to the first dishes. The house wines are also perfectly balanced with the food.Basically I can’t write enough great things - see my other reviews to understand that I’m fair - and this goes on the memory list of amazing food spots around the world.

I didn’t quite understand what they were trying to create with the dishes we ordered. The sauces weren’t proportional to the size of the dish and were redundant… honestly the best thing was the bread but 7€ for two small pieces of cornbread and some flatbread is way too much. The dishes were just ok and in my opinion not worth the 35 minute wait… the waiter seemed to have forgotten that we ordered another dish and we had to ask for the bill multiple times. Everyone was drinking a cocktail which we thought we might try but 12.5€ for a champagne glass sized cocktail is a little bit too expensive for my taste.

The food was very tasty however the ceviche could have had a bit more spice. Also enjoyed the corn bread and the traditional peruvian corn which made the experience very authentic. What could be improved is the service. Es waited very long and other customer that came later got their food a lot earlier. Also we were not allowed to move two tables together which I think was a bit strange.Nevertheless I can really recommend that place and will visit again once in Lisbon.

We ordered salmon ceviche & tuna taco.+The taste is okay. The ceviche is lack of acidity. I was expecting more delicious and unique food experience from a chef & such a priced restaurant.-Service takes toooooo much time when you are seated & stuff is unfriendly.-It’s over over priced compared to other restaurants in Lisbon. Fresh seafood is always expensive than the other foods but you can pay almost this amount of money in a Michelin restaurant of Lisbon.-Cornbread is not free, it’s 7,95 euro, which is too much. They serve it immediately without mentioning this.-The drinks are also expensive. Cocktails are around 12-13 euro.It isn’t worth to wait in the queue or the table when you’re seated. Don’t waste your time and money.

Came here with my family - we put our names down at maybe 1:30-1:40, we came at around 2:20 and ordered at around 2:25, but our food did not arrive until 3:12.A party of four that was seated after us had their food at 2:40, and ordered additional food that arrived at 2:50.A party of two came much after us at 2:30, and had their food by 2:45 as well. Both of those parties were white, and my family and I are asian. To any asian people reading this, you might not want to come here. Of course, I don’t know if this was racially motivated, but we were also seated furthest from the restaurant in the outdoor seating. To be fair, there was also another couple (whitewhose food took just as long as ours, if not longer. But just be wary. The waiter was very friendly, though.여기에는 백인들 만 좋아해요. 한국사람이면 오지 마세요.We ordered three dishes -The katsu sandwich had subpar, even dull bread, and the ginger flavor did not balance well with the slightly gamey pork. For some reason, the pork was smelly, and my mother, who has a sensitive nose for meat, couldn’t eat a second bite. The octopus/cod ceviche was mediocre. The octopus did not taste particularly fresh, and the cod was oddly flaccid. Neither were remotely chewy, and they tasted fishy in an unpleasant way. This was the least bad of the bunch. The tuna ceviche was.. awful. Not fresh at all, the flavors were unbalanced and you could hardly taste the lychee or even make out the foie gras. The tapioca cracker had a stale texture, and it was all just overwhelmingly sour.I’m praying that this was just a bad day for the kitchen. We were excited to eat at such a highly reviewed restaurant. My family and I have relatively high standards, but for this price, this restaurant should have been able to meet them.Tldr: too expensive, waited too long, extremely mediocre (even.. badfood

Came by on monday night to eat here and it was super packed. I waited 20 or so minutes for a table and then proceeded to sit outside. Once I got my menu I was told most of the stuff was out and that they don’t do the tasting menu that late at night so I ended up getting the tuna ceviche which was tuna in beetroot juice. The food was pretty good but giving only 4 stars for the poor experience

Easily the best food and dining experience we had in Lisbon! Its first come, first served and we got there for an early lunch at noon - had our choice of shaded outdoor seating (or lots of options indoorsand were served by friendly, generous waiters who made us feel really welcome and not rushed at any point (despite queues forming from around 12:30The food was so fresh and delicious (tuna belly tacos, salmon and dragonfruit ceviche were amazing - but I really dont think you can go wrong on the menu!and they have a great drinks selection including their famous Pisco sours. If youre looking for something special - do not miss this place!

Fresh, tasty ceviche presented beautifully. We sat at the bar and watched the careful and precise preparation of the dishes. We really enjoyed the salmon, pineapple and coconut ceviche, the Portgueuse ceviche and the tuna tacos. The balance and complexity of flavours is very impressive.Other reviews mention the couvert charges. I had the same experience; we were brought some cornbread and dips, I asked the waitress if they were "on the house", she said yes yet we were charged almost 8 euros for them. Most couverts in Portugal cost 1 or 2 euros, by comparison. I hope it was a honest mistake and that she didnt understand my phrase on the house. It is a very popular restaurant so be prepared to queue. We only had a 20 minute wait but the waiting time was really long by the time we were seated.

Salmon ceviche dish is amazing. Beef and salmon tartare tacos were way too salty for a 5 start rating at a fish place. I’m being critical of the ratings because the wait was brutal and not so straight forward if you know what I mean. There’s a list but there are some friends. Would not have waited honestly even tho Im a mega fan ceviche.

Firstly, the tacos were really tasty. Tuna tacos were served with a bit of a tingy sauce and it’s very appetising. The beef tacos were a bit creamy with the sauce but very palatable. However, the Portuguese ceviche was a bit fishy. It’s silly to say, the cod fish was just a bit too fishy to have it cold/raw. I couldn’t tell if it’s raw or the temperature. It would be nice if they just used octopus.Lastly, when we had the bill, we didn’t know the starter was not complimentary. They would print €7 on the bill for the starter, a but unfair really if they just served you the starter without you asking and put the item on the bill. Moreover, they recommended the sour entry drink (somehow they asked you to order itwhich honestly was not that impressive. If you really want to try the restaurant, just order some tacos and have a glass of wine.

Our favorite meal in Lisbon! We walked in on a Friday evening and luckily got the best seats in the house - right at the bar to watch Rute work her magic 😍 I ordered the tasting menu and it was one of the most delicious, unique and flavorful dining experiences I’ve ever had. I can’t rave enough about this restaurant, service and the staff - Rute, in particular 😊 Can’t wait to come back when we visit Portugal again!

Food and ambiance are really good but that does not fully justify price and waiting time. This is a great place to come very early or very late for lunch or dinner. Quality of products was as expected for a place like this and uniqueness of flavors was in some cases loosing the flavors of the quality of the ingredients. All in all a good experience.

Divino! The Puro Ceviche is delicious, and their white wine is great! The only thing I didn’t like is that they bring you an appetizer and you think is on the house, but then when you get the bill they actually charge you for that. I would appreciate if they actually mention you have to pay for it or at least ask if I wanted or not…

Amazing meal in Lisbon - perfect for seafood lovers. The Ceviche is a stand out - we had the 6 course tasting menu and the first 3 courses were ceviche, but each tasted very unique to the others. Loved the octopus with quail egg & the quinoa. Don’t forget to get a pisco sour!

I just love this place. Not just because Im a Ceviche enthusiast but because I think this place combines so well with Lisbon and its sunny weather and relaxed atmosphere. Its a very small restaurant and getting a table there is not always easy but if you are not in a rush, and if the sun is shining outside, I really recommend grabbing a glass (or twoof their Pisco Sour or their super nice white wine while you are waiting for your table. Another tip is: unless you are starving, getting a table there in the middle of the day is always easier than trying your luck during the Portuguese lunch-time peak hour, so go late. I think Ive tried everything that is gluten-free on their menu and it is difficult to point out my favourite dish - I like everything :o But maybe I could highlight the Ceviche Portugues that definitely adds a nice portuguese touch to this peruvian dish... Anyway, if you ever go there, let me know which one is your favourite, I would love to know!

If theres a line just skip it, definitely not worth the wait. Food was "okay" but not worth the price. Went along and waited about 20 minutes before they even acknowledged me, and I told them I was okay either outside or inside. Another 40 minutes to get seated outside. I asked if I could have the tasting menu but the waitress told me I cant outside... Okay.. I ordered ceviche puro, scallop and shrimp causa, and tuna tartare tacos from her recommendation. Took another 30 minutes to come. Ceviche puro had sweetness from sweet potato and sourness from lime sauce. However the flavours did not complement or blend with each other, nor the textures. They were all just separate, I dont think the fish was the freshest either as I got some fishy taste. Scallop and shrimp were fresh and their delicate texture and sweetness are the star of the show, however they were placed on top of sweet potato which was over seasoned, so much so I could not taste or feel the fish when eaten together. I just ended up eating only the fish separately. The tuna tacos were okay, not too bad but nothing outstanding. The chef needs to rethink the taste and balance of the dishes especially at this price point.Quite disappointing after all the recommendations and high reviews.
