Very nice. Grateful for their service.
Love this place, very educational and gives a sense of pride when look and reading all the things 82nd was apart of.
Small museum but lots of information!! The staff in the gift shop were so pleasant and helpful.
We have history and it should always be remember and this place a great place to see it
Lots of unique history vehicles, planes ,firearms very well organized and maintained humbling experience
Last time there in 70s when stationed Ft Bragg..... Theyve renovated & truly Amazing place
Some great history of an elite unit , outside aviation display needs some attention from someone who knows how to prepare , preserve maintain outside displays especially the aircraft
Well organized with very accurate descriptions!
Me and my family had a great time. Son was stoked to see everything especially the planes outside.
In all my years worth of time of being at Ft Bragg it was the first time that I had ever gone to the 82nd Museum. A great part of the Airborne heritage.
Great displays and gift shop
Wonderful, great artifacts and history
Nice place with alot of 82nd ABN items to purchase
My old SHORAD Vulcan is located there..Good memories.
My dad was so excited to see the War Museums, being a 2x purple heart himself, 172nd Airborne. So we went to fort bragg war museum (82ndfirst and didnt make it to Downtown where my dad would be able purchase stuff with 172nd on it. 😔 but his visit to see his babygirl was spectacular and all that mattered to me, seeing my daddy! Next time he come we definitely go DT.
Really needs more to be added. There are SO many opportunities for Excellent displays that show the 82d trials and tough periods. FOB Airborne, the founding of FOB Shank...So many missed opportunities. There is lots of unused space in the museum- more can be added. The displays are pretty basic, and mostly talk about equipment. Well, isnt it the Dedicated Soldiers who really deserve some recognition?
Great history museum about the 82nd Airborne Division. Very clean and accommodating. The pictures are of the outside of the museum. There is a building that shows the history and memorabilia of the 82nd Airborne Division.
Never been here but I give U 5 stars for all Ur support in Europe as U help to protect my country from Kremlins savages for years.Thank U all Guys, De Oppresso liber.
Its a small free museum. Best part was the planes outside. It was a process to get onto the base. You have to stop at the ticket office to get approval to enter the base.
Wow...wonderful. looking at the picture there air airplanes on hill to the right. There is real history inside and outside this building. Got to see real items that you only see in real war movies. I will be coming back to spend a whole day or two.
It wasnt what it use to be like back in the 80s & 90s ... they have taken a majority of the artifacts out of the museum❓️🤔... lost a lot of history on the All American Warriors in support if Freedom...Sad state of affairs... also we just walked in, signed the book, no one in the facility or gift shop?? There were "No" Empolyees ... Sad day visiting with outside family... embarrassing...
An excellent tribute to the history of the 82d Airborne Division. I could have spent hours here digging into each exhibit. The gift shop personnel were also very friendly and helpful.
Very worthwhile place to visit, but Im a military museum addict. If youre in the area, and appreciate learning more about those who sacrifice to keep us safe, definitely stop in and learn.
Great museum. Very well curated.
My family enjoyed visiting this museum. It is very informative and clean. My 3 year old even enjoyed it! Bathrooms are available. The gift shop is cute and has some cute items.
A great place for families, my kids were amazed by all the great collections of items.Definitely a place where bring kids instead let them play videogames!🇺🇸
A great small museum, that walks you through the history of one of the militaries most storied units. Not the easiest place to get to if you are not in the millitary, but well worth it.
First time I went to that museum was in 1991 when I was first assigned to the 82nd. The last time was in 1997 when I left at the vision. I went back with my family to show them the history of the 82nd Airborne Division it was worth the trip. A little different than when I last saw it still an awesome Museum.
Great place to spend an hour looking at big and small things. Both indoor and outdoor attractions.Added bonus if you play pokēmon go- there are 2 gyms and several stops to hit.
A very informative museum dedicated to the history and storied lineage of the 82nd Airborne Division, from its formation in 1917 to the present day. Many interesting artifacts and displays, my personal favorite being the actual uniform of Manuel Noriega. Free admission, all they ask of you is an optional donation to the preservation of its history.
A really must see! An amazing learning experience for young and old.
I wasnt sure what to expect for an on base museum however it was beyond my expectations. Walked through their involvement through the wars. Pretty impressive! Done during covid so only access for DOD
I served at the 82nd Airborne for eight years. I recently visited and it did my heart good to see the names of my fallen comrades on the memorial. It was also extremely intriguing to look though all the war memorabilia. AATW!
Great place to take the whole family.Loved the History of 82nd Airborne Division. Definitely go check it out when at Fort Bragg.
Well maintained museum on base perfect for a quick visit.
Enjoyed the time traveling into military history through the lens of the 82nd Airbone!
Informative, lots to look at, kids loved the airplanes. Just watch your step. Ants are building fortresses all around there.
Great place to see tradition and heros of the 82nd Airborne Division.
Another great please to learn about the great hero’s of our country
Very cool, had some aircraft on display and weapons.
One of the best military museum. It is small but it is totally worth it.
Its small but displays interesting artifacts and historical information about the 82nd.
I absolutely love visiting this place. Well kept and makes my pump just thinking about past conflicts and life lost... Weve come pretty far in our journey as people, Im just hoping we get further along in the idea of making life better in this time. Our time. Id like to see to it. Personally.
This museum is in Fort Bragg Army Base. Its free but to enter the base you must have a military Identification or a verified driver license. I will recommend to call first to check for other requirements before you try to enter the base.About the museum there is plenty to learn ,see and reflect. There are plenty of air craft on display outside and monuments. Parking is available free of charge. Handicap parking is just in front with easy access to the entrance ( no ramps. There some stairs to climb to see the air craft area outside. There is also a gift shop. The museum is open Tuesday -Friday 10:00 am to 4:30 PMClosed Monday and Sunday. Open on the following Federal Holidays MLK, Fourth of July, Labor Day Weekend and Veterans Day. Closed all other Holidays.
This museum was so nice! We loved seeing all the displays and reading all the history. If you are close by, you should definitely visit this place!
This place offers so much information from World War I until currently. Jeeps, uniforms, souvenir shop and memorials. A lot of Inside and outside displays to enjoy.
Its a wonderful place to visit. We love going each year during the field of honor. Its a must visit for anyone who wants to know more about the history of the military and fort Bragg. You can spend a few hours here and then visit downtown for some food and make a day trip.
Visiting this place again after so many years, for the Airborne Memorials during All-American Week brought back a lot of great memories. Airborne All The Way ... and then some! The new building is great! The displays, the videos, the gift shop, all first class. Fort Bragg ... my old home. Looking forward to my next trip back to the home of Americas Guard of Honor.
Hours are limited. Be sure to check. Various aircraft on display that are accessible anytime.
Most of the museum was under renovations when I visited, but what I did see was nice. The uniforms and pieces they have in the museum are really great quality. It’s hard to believe they are so old. Had a last minute ceremony inside, the rain just came out of no where like it does here in North Carolina. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, it was a small ceremony, but they were still great. I look forward to seeing the museum in full when they are finished with renovations.
