808 Night Club in Pattaya

went here looking for hip/hop and did not find that. they did have two live bands that played fun, upbeat music, but was more pop than hiphop. drinks were okay

I had to leave because the music was so bad. Let’s face it this modern hip hop, RnB stuff is horrible ugly music. Only shallow people like it. And the guard staff are rude. Shameful behaviour towards customers.

If you like to experience racism at extreme then goto this n all other bars clubs at walking street. They just dont want any Indian or anyone looking similar with brown skin. Be ready to pay entry fee, rude staff and treat you really low even if u spending lot.

Drink girls and security staff are amazing. Really friendly. Music and atmosphere is great.Can not say the same for the 3 men working behind the bar. We never received a receipt when we are at the bar like we do from the female staff. We were getting charged 180 bht per drink from the bar men and only 160 bht in the rest of the club. I noticed that the barmen would charge us 180 bht and put 160 bht in the till and put our 20 bht in there tip container.So if you sit at the bar the barmen will charge 20 bht more than if the girls served you in the other parts of the bar.I wonder if management are aware of this practice going on.Apart from the barmen skimming the customers at the bar, this club is worth going to.Management check security footage at the bar and you will see this practice going on.Girls are honest can’t say the same for the barmen.Practices like this give Thailand a bad name.Management take a stance and stop this happening.

Mostly, I am sceptical about bad reviews. This time, however, I agree with most reviews. The staff is rude for sure. They push the customers from wherever they stand, if the customers are not buying drinks. We had asked the guards even before entering the club if there is some sort of terms & conditions attached. The guards told us that there were no such conditions. Yet, it was an entirely different story inside. Music was good, but If you want to feel respected, stay away from this pathetic place

We bought drinks and gave a large tip, only to be kicked out by a “guard five minutes later for not still having our drinks.

We purchased 3 bottles of Chivas , told the staff lady to put only 1 on the Table and take the other new Unopened 2 Bottles for later date ... yesterday we decided to make a visit to 808 and to claim my 2 new Unopened bottles.. lady comes back with 1 and half bottles of Chivas .. now there is no way you can win here , its your word against the workers inside who opened one of my bottles and used it .. totally unfair.. its so easy for them to cheat their way around without consequence ... management should keep close monitoring of staff in charge .. other than that its a lovely place to be and have fun .

Watered down drinks. Bartender attempted to add a shot in it. I tasted shot that was suppose to be absolute, but was some other cheap vodka. Seems like they by cheap vodka and add it to empty bottles of absolute. If you drunk already you wont know unless you know your absolute.

Rude staff.Security tried to fight me:They will harass you to buy drink even though I am there to party and drink but not on their terms.I think a club should provide good music and good service and leave the decision for customer when and what to drink.There are plenty of other clubs and private parties in pattaya to enjoy other than this place for sure. I would avoid going there. It smells bad also.

Good music, drinks are expensive, VIP card.. Well they let you pay for it but will never work here! Its a scam at the end so dont pay for it.

I fly 80x a year and this is the worst night club experience I have had. I ordered a Jack and Coke. The drink came out completely flat with trace amounts of alcohol. I explained to the waitress, but she didn’t understand me because of the language barrier which was fine. I spoke with the manager and told him it was the worst Jack and Coke that I had ever been served. Another drink came out in a different shaped glass with bubbly soda, but still only 20ml of Jack in a 12oz. glass. My efforts to get a decent cocktail were futile, so I just set the full drink on the bar and asked them to serve me a bottled beer. My thoughts, “at least they can’t screw this up”. I was wrong. I was charged 270 baht (Aprox. $8and no receipt was given. I had just paid 170 baht for the same beer 5 min. prior to buy a beer for my girlfriend. After raising hell with the bartender I was given back the 100 baht I was overcharged. The bartender was trying to rip rip me off and stealing from the bar by not ringing up the sale. I brought this to the attention of the manager. He acted annoyed. He offered no apology or explanation. My conclusion. There is no honor at this establishment and there drinks are horrible. They rely on customers coming in one time and never coming back. Do yourself a favor and avoid this business.
