Third Cl, Accra, Ghana, Nungua
805 Restaurant - Restaurant in Nungua, Ghana
Service from start to finish was not good the first time I went there but the Food was okay. The second time it was quite okay and the third time is just excellent, the food was delicious and I was craving more.
For business travellers, its not advisable to come as their services are terrible.Serving food very slowRude waitersAnd low class food
Great food. Mr David, the supervisor is a great guy, good customer relations. Will love to see more improvements in their decor.
Nice settings.. Cool.. Lowkey.. Delicious food.
The place is cute. I sat outdoors. There wasn’t much to see since I was facing the street. They spent a long time in bringing my order for a Sunday when guests had not yet come, hence the reason for 3 stars. The meal was quite good, though the charcoal grilled chicken was slightly smoky. Customer service was good. The Dj needs better song selections though 🤣
Love their food...especially the fish meal with Banku...yum...
They serve some nice okro stew. Try it
Delicious Nigerian food . My favourite us the grilled fish
Nice neighborhood eatery, serving great food.
I didnt really stay....it has this rustic look and feel. Calm and welcoming. Either sit outside or inside. Great for just after work get togethers.I didnt even try anything on the menu. Buuut you buy a whole win bottle and can take it home with you. Some restaurants dont allow that even with half a bottle of wine left in it.
Food was good and came out in good time. Have been before and will go back again
Small, intimate space to have good Nigerian dishes. Other dishes available, I still would recommend. A good set up for lunch/dinner with a buddy or friendly date😁
Loved the grilled tilapia and fried yam chips but they should increase the yam pieces 😊
Great service. Food was great as well. I loved the quiet
The meal was good, their eforiro was not bad also the pepper soup was top notch.
Good restaurant with affordable and good meal both intercontinental and local dishes.
Best culinary experience Ive had in Ghana. Id definitely be coming back for more.
Food is amazing however, they are not very transparent on delivery fees. Rider charged me 40 ghs to deliver to Cantoments, when asked they mentioned they are not affiliated with riders however it would be good to let customers know just how high the riders they send charge before accepting an order
I have to say this, I loveeeeeed it. By far the best seafood Okra I had in Accra..Do not attempt if you do not want pepper or spicy food. However, if your spice tolerance is high, then go for it..If you love seafood, be guaranteed youd eat more than four seafood species..I like 805 so much, and I enjoy being here anytime Im in Accra. The wait time can be shorter; however, its an overall good experience..I have to highlight its clean as well.
Lovely ambiance. Good variety for the Friday lunch buffet. The option of Nigerian food is a nice addition.
Good food, great location, helpful staff
Aways enjoy the food here. Lovely Nigerian Dishes, great staff beautiful ambiance. And I will return...
We’ll try for yourself 🤷🏽♀️
Service was amazingFood excellentEnvironment perfect ☺️Ill always go back. Its the best place to eat your Nigerian dishes
Nice place, good staff. My fiancé had a Nigerian dish and liked it. I however had ampesi with Kontommire abom and reacted to it. It seems the leaves was overgrown which leaves my tongue itchy and numb for a while.I will go back but to eat something else
Restaurant is easy to locate and waiters are attentive. Great ambiance. You don’t need to make a reservation and their prices are reasonable too. On Sundays, they offer a buffet option (ghc170 per head).Their food come in large portions, however, the grilled Fish, Yam and Kontomire we had tasted just okay. Nothing spectacular.
I ordered lamp chops and mashed potatoes and as well with fried rice. Food was great. The lamp chops though tasty, was not tender at all. The attendants were kind. Beautiful setting and we were well received. The cocktail was alright 6/10.
805 is located in a strategic area which houses lots of corporate offices, middle to high class residences and relatively close to the airport. It has a good ambience, smell and the welcome makes you feel at home. The menu contains a rich variety of African dishes.Food was relatively okay but the lead time between order and service is quite long. Given the relative high price and the strategic nature of the location, there is more room to take the existing service a notch higher.
Thier food is good for the most part but the customer service aspect for the money you spend is terrible and because of that have stopped going there. Each time I would visit, I would spend between 700 to 1300 and was told that is no money so since it is no money, I will take it to where it is appreciated. The Manager has no clue how to deal with customers. She does not even know how to talk in a customer oriented approach so we have stopped going there. Am sure they will recover our lost business elsewhere- business as usual.
Been here several times. Service is slow, whenever I order on the phone they always get the order wrong, one time I was told I was ordered something I couldn’t even pronounce and had never heard of before. The waiter argued with me only for me to insist that I didn’t know what it was. Though the food is tasty the Egusi and Pepe soup always gives my household the runs. It only happens here - never have this problem when I order from Bukka.
Mixed experience. Food was excellent during my first visit. Not so much during my next visit. Maybe its because I went close to when they were to close. And we know its a Nigerian place but some.Ghanaian music every now and then would be appreciated. It is in Ghana afterall
Have been using this restaurant for around 5 years to cater for our aircraft and I think this will be the last time. Service is super slow, frequently run out of menu items, the latest being stew, so I just got two pieces of beef and a tiny amount of stew. When I asked for more stew was told they had ran out. At 7pm on a Saturday night I find that difficult to comprehend. It is sad as passengers enjoy the food, but we may start looking for an alternative because the service and food produced varies massively from one visit to the next. (One picture is Beef Stew and the other Fried Fish in Tomato Sauce - both with very little stew or sauce)
Service was really slow and food was ok. Nothing special for the price you pay. Ordered the jollof rice and chicken.Interior is clean and nice but that’s about it for me. Would love if they picked up the service pace cause we waited over an hour for our food
Food was good. I had the chicken and chips and my husband did the burger. The bun was massive compared to the patty. Drinks were not bad. Service was good as well. Took forever to get our check but it wasn’t too terrible. Love the ambience and the general aesthetic
Lovely meals, tasty and reasonably priced. Although its pot luck to get a competent waiter who wont ruin your dinning experience. The organisation needs to invest more in training their waiters if they are to maintain their international brand
Good Quality Food specially Goat Soup & Steamed Fish
805 is located at Airport. It is not too far from Nyaho hospital, if you need a landmark. They do quite a wide range of dishes. Local, continental, stela food and the likes. They also have Nigerian dishes just in case you have the appetite for that. I have had bitter leaf soup there before. Good meal. Overall the food is tasty. Pricing is more middle class. Moderate pricing for working class. Good experience for the two times Ive been there.
I think the location is good, quiet and serene. You can always get decent meal at time including good breakfast. You have an outdoor restaurant and indoor restaurant option. Nice bar with good drinks. COVID 19 protocols are observed. Nice place to have a lunch meeting.Reception is ok and foods are affordable, I must say.
Very rich and tasty egusi soup with fish, nice done - the Nigerian way. Their virgin colada is a delight. Also, I didnt have to wait too long for my order, surprisingly
Great West African food. Portions are HUGE so don’t over do it when you order :)
Extensive menu, especially the local food menu is amazing. The service is lacking. My waitress served the starters very late (around 20 minand then served the main course 1 minute later. And she was surprised why I didnt want the meal immediately. By the time I was ready, the food was cold.
They have an extensive menu. Main courses are clearly stated alongside suggested accompaniments. The waiter adeptly and patiently explained the local dishes. With a small seating area, it would be safe to call ahead if visiting with a large group. It feels like a place to have a business lunch or intimate dinner but the prices are steep. We were seated near the kitchen and one of the staff was playing some media on their phone that interfered with our conversation.
So the place looks nice. Nice sitting areas, I ordered for fish and sauteed salad. The fish was okay. Could have been better. The salad was wrong. It felt like the just took a bunch of lettuce and put in the bowl. No cream, no other vegetables and not sauteed. The packaging was nice but no cutlery. Not satisfied with the service. But they have a good selection of alcoholic beverages and they are in a good area.
Great restaurant for African dishes especially Nigeria dishes, buffet is available most of the time and a good price for a relatively high standard. You might not be able to split bills on the same table though.
Lovely place. Really enjoyed the food. The staff was nice. If ever you pre-order, insist they actually serve it because I had to wait a while Although I preorderd because they hadnt served it. I liked their washroom. It was clean and lovely scented.
Nice and friendly atmosphere, staff are very welcoming,
Don’t waste your time .horrible customer service . I went there with a business partner . We literally sat there for an hour after placing an order . I called before leaving Tema to airport for the fish I wanted (Monica. They came to tell us an hour later that the dish will take another unknown duration. Apparently they gave our dish to a different client. It’s absurd how we were told a dish was half grilled and it will take 20 minutes to be ready but after an hour it no longer exists
Food was very nice and I loved my mojito.but customer service was very bad. Think there was a lot of pressure on restaurant staff so they were very slow in attending to us. And ur staff need to undergo training wen dealing with customers.u dont just drop a drink on the table and turn around because u r under pressure. You hand it over to whoever ordered.
What went well:The waiter was warm and helpful. The food was on point and arrived in good time just as promised.Needs improvement:No working light in the washroom.Quite uncomfortable booths.
Quiet and nice place if you just want to grab a beer. But quite expensive and the meat was not of very good quality. Not satisfied with the service either.
