One of my favourite places to go to for wine and cocktails. Recommend going at least twice to experience both the downstairs and upstairs ambiences. Happy hour upstairs in the cocktail bar from 5 to 6pm when 5 cocktails are only £5 each.

Cosy and intimate bar. The cocktails are well made and tasty. Dimly lit with candles that really adds to the vibe. Highly recommended whether that be for a date or a casual drink! Try their Old Fashioned!

If a bar has Rebirth Brass Jazz Band on the playlist, I am going to give them 5 stars just for that. However the bar does live up to their playlist. On the weekend a reservation is recommended but the hostess was lovely and found us a table quickly. We only had a quick drink but they have a lovely wine and cocktail menu. Highly recommend for a quick drink or several!

Lovely wine list with decent bottles as cheap as 20 GBP. Espresso martinis are absolutely delicious with a strong coffee flavor and not too sweet.Service was polite and attentive.Very dim lighting though which makes it difficult to read the menu and very loud, but thats to be expected from a bar in soho.

Great wine selection and good size cheese platters. Staff was very friendly. Highly recomend to book, even with reservation you might need to wait up to 10-15 min for your table as place is extremely busy but has lovely buzz.

A nice place with a cosy area upstairs. Its a shame that the person that greeted us at the door was quite rude telling us to stand in the queue before we even had a chance to say that our friends had an area booked and we were just joining them. Extremely expensive for what it is (cocktails are nice but not worth their price). Seems quite funny to pay service charge when buying a beer at the bar when the only thing that the bar staff have to do it open the bottle (also, quite a long wait to be served). £6.18 for a small bottle of Birra Moretti (one of the two beers we could choose fromis ridiculous!

A very cute cocktail place in the Soho area. We visited for drinks and nibbles and everything was perfect. The place was packed at arrival but they kindly accommodated us upstairs, where the atmosphere was super relaxing. The lounge was decorated with themes reminding of Japan (blossom treesand, indeed, the place was offering a selection of delicious cocktails reminding of the theme. I would totally recommend visiting, when around the Soho area!Edit n.2:I am currently amending my review to 2 stars and provide an explanation of the reasons below. We always had a lovely experience at 68 and Boston; customer service has always been lovely and drinks excellent. However, recently we tried visiting twice and had a very uncomfortable experience. The new front door host was very rude to us both times, making us feel very unwelcome. Thus, on both occasions we decided to leave and order cocktails somewhere else. Id recommend working on improving (significantlythe current approach of customers - other clients might feel the same as we felt and this could be deleterious in the long-term.

The bar looks great but disappointed that on their website and on each table there is an advertisement for "Apertivo hour" which gets you a drink and small side for £8. When I got there they said they dont do that offer and pointed out another offer which isnt the same. Why have signage for this on your website and table if you dont offer it?

Best Wine and Cocktail in Soho. Head up to Boston for a trip back to the post-prohibition era. Hemingways Coupe is a great Cocktail if youre stuck on what to go for from the amazing menu, not to mention loads of Wine options from around the World in 68. Perfect for a date night and great spaces for groups to. Excellent staff and management. Great spot for a night out.

One of my favourite wine bars in London, especially if you get a seat outside to people watch in Soho. The prices are so reasonable for the area and plenty of delicious bottles available for £20, and staff are really helpful yo help you decide what to go for based on what you like/don’t like.

I expected a posh Prohibition bar, this is actually a hipster wine bar with some vintage notes. Large selection of wines, tall stalls may be uncomfortable. A bit too noisy for a date, better for a catch-up chat with a friend

Really cute cocktail bar. Walking around Soho with a girlfriend on a Friday evening you really dont have many options if you want a nice cocktail and actually be able to talk!!!! This place was perfect. Its a little hidden gem. I dont think that many people know about it as most places we tried that evening was absolutely rammed but this one was quiet, great service and the cocktails were nice. We could actually hear each other!!!

A great location, good vibe. Perfect for meeting with friends. Disappointed by a very limited non-alcoholic selection. Wines seemed very average but perfectly acceptable. A bit pricey but appropriately priced considering the area.

Loved how we did not have to book and got a table straight away, only because they always make sure they have a few tables for walk-ins. Gets very busy after 9:30 pm and the music gets very loud. Wide range of cocktails on the menu but you can always order out of the menu and they make it for you. To top it all, amazing lighting!

Staff have difficulties with taking orders with simple cocktails. We ordered our drink telling what we want and after two tries our cocktails were not made as we wanted. Order was simple dry vodka martini with two olives (I specified- I don’t like dirty and no lemon garnish- twice wrong. Perfect Manhattan more dry with cherry garnish, was not correct as well. So after 40 minutes we decided to leave... such a disappointment. I visitided this cocktail bar just because British Vogue was recommended. Sooo not true....

Nice decor.Only reason why is gave it 3* & not more is because I left my drink unattended for about 3 minutes. The waiter/ waitress removed it, then denied it. The manager said he would replace it but by that time we were getting ready to leave.

Was recommended this bar by a friend. Walked past it so many times going into Soho.Service is faultless, we arrived on a Saturday night and staff directed us upstairs. They provided a menu with singature drinks and also do all other cocktails upon request. Love the bird coasters and theme of the menu. I only explored section where the bar is and dont actually know how big the place is. But as a small group we really enjoyed it. Great atmosphere and vibe

This is a good wine bar, but dont expect great things from the food. Ive ordered the Calamari, the Padron peppers, the prawns and a couple others and nothing really blew me away. The wine selection is strong and the ambience is great for a friendly get together or a date.If you want a table on a weekend, your best bet is to call the day before as it books up quickly.

Its the concept that drew me to this bar. Any wine for £20 you dont have to worry about price just pick the one you like. Except when you get there theres are only a selection for 20 and I wanted the ones that happened to be £30 so the concept and uniqueness of this place is kind of lost. That said the bar has a great atmosphere though it was very loud. It may have just been the night I went but everyone in the place was shouting over each other to be able to hear their conversions.

My favourite place to meet girls over a great bottle of red wine. Lots of options of wines for different budgets. Lovely vibe and nice staff. You DO need to book and yes and you only get the table for 2 hours, but this is central London so to be expected!

Rediculous 1 hour 15 time limit. We were a group of 4, had 3 cocktails each within the time limit and were hoping for more but they told us the table had to go to another group (walk in). We left and asked reception if we could have another table and they told us they just have one away to a walk in and we would have to wait 15 minutes .. pathetic .. greedy .. stupid .. we left out of principle. Cool bar, ruined by stupidity.

Great cocktails and good service. Really let down at the end though.Had a £10 January offer voucher to use so I booked a table. The staff member at the end of the night was incompetent in allowing us the £10 discount. Our bill was nearly £100 for just drinks so you’d think they’d be a little understanding. Makes me feel like the January £10 off offer is just a ploy to get people in before using any technicality to get off authorising it. I felt like it was embarrassing but I was trying to stand up for my pride here. Rest assured I will tell all of my poor experience here

Really nice food but table service was pretty dire. Waiter didnt know anything about the drinks or food menu and seemed more focused on having a laugh with another customer. Then looked fairly put out when we tried to order more drinks. Great date location as its dark and cosy and good for small tables and couples. Food was really really good and drinks menu has a good choice

Booked a table with friends and when we arrived we were asked when we were leaving? Staff not the friendliest and a group of 6 of us were asked to leave as our time had finished when the place was empty. We asked if we could move to one of the smaller tables but were told that was for smaller parties. They have no business sense, turning away a group of people drinking when there was no one to replace them. Have been here twice and both times unimpressed with the service. Green carnation the bar that it use to be was a lot better, shame this replaced it!

Great little wine bar with a surprisingly large interior and reasonable wine selection. The music was a tad on the loud side to have a comfortable conversation past 6pm and it was a a task to attain the attention of the waiters but overall a positive experience.

Seems my friend and I had a better experience than others here. We were looking for somewhere reasonably quiet where we could chat without shouting after midnight on a Saturday night in Soho. This place was a good fit.Although advertised as closing at 2am, it shut at around 12:30. We had a couple of fairly good cocktails for £13. They had an offer on - two classics for the price of one. So yes, it is expensive.Service was ok. Everyone was friendly and eager to help us. The Japanese staff were a little shy and our bill did arrive before our drinks had. Perhaps this is the sort of thing other reviewers interpreted as rudeness.

Really rude staff. We booked a table and were drinking here in the evening. The waitress put us in the wrong placeWe came back later and had about 250GBP worth of drinks here. We paid and they called the bouncers to remove us to make room for other guests. Be careful of the bouncers they are very aggressive.

Horrible service, unfriendly staff. When we arrived the place was mostly empty, despite that we were moved from our bar table bc it was maybe reserved it seemed like the manager did not know. No one greeted us in the door and informed us that the upstairs bar was reserved seating and the table had no sign to mark it as reserved when we sat down but after 15 of seeing no server we were greeted by being asap moved to a awkwardly hide away table. Even tho they were very quick to move us as soon as they seen us it took them another 30 min to take our order after that. At this moment of time there were only 4 tables seated on the upper floor yet the server and the manager were running around like it was peak hour. Bathrooms looks like they are under construction. Hostess at the door seamed lovely tho.

Basically, they didnt honor my booking in the wine bar. The hostess told me I had only one booking, which was for the cocktail bar and not the wine bar (I had in fact made two bookings at two different times). She then acted as though I had insulted her intelligence when I offered to show her my booking on their reservations list and she refused to show me the list. Then she dashed of somewhere and came back saying a table was actually available so we followed her and found that the table was in a dark and dingy corner and inappropriate for a meal. We left and eventually found a table at Dean Street Townhouse and had a lovely time. Disappointed that they did not honor my reservation and could not believe the hostess was denying that my booking even existed when I had already seen it on their reservations list. Very poor customer service. If shed simply apologised and offered us a free bottle of wine while we waited for the next available table this could have been a very different review.

My friends and I have been going to this bar since they opened. They were quite good at the beginning and at least one waitress in particular was wonderful. For whatever reason they have decided to have separate menus for upstairs and downstairs even though you can buy something downstairs and bring it up anyway. Thats not really my main gripe with this place. The staff are incredibly rude. The manager upstairs will slam glasses on your table and walk away and the staff upstairs always seem in such a hurry to do nothing. Last night, at around 12.30 they started kicking us out for the absolutely horrifying reason that there were no customers. Im not sure what we were then, and there were quite a few other tables. Ive never heard something so ridiculous. Plus on Google it says they close at 2am, which is the basis on which we decided to buy 2 bottles of champagne, thinking wed have quite a lot of time to drink them. When we asked what were we to do with our drinks, the bouncer got aggressive and raised his voice at us saying, why are you testing my patience?. This is the same bouncer who, when I entered the bar alone he asked if he should take his jacket off and take me on a date inside. There was a short haired waitress who was also being very rude and disputing what was clearly on my phone: that they close at 2am. It blew my mind that they have such a lazy, non-existent work ethic. We come here every week and buy bottles and bottles of champagne but will never set foot in this place again. I have to say that there was one person (a short haired manworking upstairs who was fantastic.

The bar is always busy and its well located for going out in Soho, or going for dinner later.I have been a few times now, and I have to say the staff seem a little bit clueless at times, and mistakes with our order, e.g., bringing glasses instead of a bottle. On Friday, they were also changing the menu so several bottles of wines we wanted were not available. Given this place is a wine bar and serves around 10 white and 10 red, it was a little disappointing. Also watch when ordering at the bar for service to be automatically added - I dont mind when its table service but this seems unnecessary when you are at the bar.The downstairs cellar is quite cosy and the booths are good for groups. Id say generally the bar is better for groups than for couples.

Nice cocktails upstairs, £10-11 each with beers for £5 and fantastic value prosecco £20 per bottle. Great cocktail menu and decent sized, unlike a few in the area. Need to book on Friday/Saturday to get a decent space.

Classy Soho cocktail joint with some very cheery bar staff. Quite like the little "bunker" seating areas downstairs if you want a more intimate setting for your group. The reasonable drinks are generously poured, with a personal twist encouraged.

Ive been to 68 and Boston a few times. Its usually quite busy, and difficult to get served by the staff. On my most recent visit we waited about 20 minutes to get served. When we did finally hunt a member of staff down we ordered a bottle of wine. It came about 5 minutes later and the waiter opened it right away, and powered two full glasses and left. He didnt let us taste the wine or check it was the right bottle, which it wasnt, nor it was this wine nice either. On notifying the staff, they mentioned they ran out of what we ordered so simply substituted another bottle instead as if no notification should be needed for doing so. The staff were acting as if we were the ones playing up, but they did reluctantly offer to give us another bottle if wine which we accepted. The range of wines arent particularly good and the service is pretty poor. Id give this place a pass even just to avoid the hassle of poor service.
