We didnt stay here, however, we stopped off at the bar for happy hour a couple of times and it was great! Lovely staff and delicious cocktails at a great price. Even provided us with generous free snacks. Would highly recommend the bar!

Just perfect. Franco and his wife are so nice. If you travel by yourself this is a good place to find someone to explore Cinque Terre. You can eat dinner with all the other guests and drink a beer while enjoying the great view.

Esse lugar é uma verdade perfeição. Nunca me senti tão em casa, fora da minha casa, como aqui. A família do Francesco não mede esforços para que você se sinta acolhido.Sem falar na organização, limpeza e dos jantares que são oferecidos por um preço simbólico. Amazing hostel! Would recommend to anyone. The view is beautiful and the owners are the nicest. Also, the dinners are great for only 10 euro! There is access to hiking trails right from the hostel.

Exceptional

This is a magical hostel. The staff here is beyond anything I could have dreamed of. The location is beautiful and gives you the luxury of not feeling like a tourist among other things. The hosts are incredible, they clearly have giant hearts. They offer a shuttle service in the morning and evening and an optional home cooked dinner with an amazing breakfast in the morning. The energy and ambience of this hostel is unlike anything you can imagine. I will be back, Franco.

Loved the access from the station and center. The keycards brought so much peace in security and safety. Beds were so chill. Staff is charming and so thoughtful!

The staff was soo nice and friendly. The bar downstairs was awesome during happy hours, $4 mojitos and spritz and free snack foods as well

One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at! Franco and the team are so wonderful, the rooms are incredibly clean with amazing views over the mountains, and authentic Italian home cooked meals every night. Cannot recommend this hostel enough - if you are going to Cinque Terre this hostel is a must!

I absolutely loved this hostel! the location is so peaceful, its super clean, the food is amazing, and the staff is absolutely wonderful- Franco the manager is an angel! I highly recommend!!

By far the best hostel Ive ever stayed in! The owner is super friendly, the location and the views are amazing.

Truly one of the best hostel experiences I’ve had. The rooms and washrooms were really clean and comfortable, Francesco’s home-cooked dinners & desserts are out of this world, and the hostel is really small so you get to know everyone well. The outdoor area is so serene and such a nice way to start and end your day. The only downsides were that there was no wifi in the rooms (only in the common area out backand the pick ups and drop offs are at specific times so you don’t really get the chance to experience CT at night time.

Best hostel Ever! If you want to experience real Italian homemade meals... stay there! A gorgeous view of mountains! Highly recommended!

This may be my best hostel experience ever. The two brothers that own the place truly go out of their way for their guests when it comes to hospitality and its evident they love what they do.The view from this quaint village is spectacular and the hostel itself is clean, comfortable, and spacious.Francesco makes a delicious dinner for the guests every night or eats with guests at the local restaurant.Antonio also went out of his way to show us secret viewpoints and places we may not ordinarily see during the drive to/from the hostel. Excellent experience. I will be back!

The host/owner does an amazing job at keeping all clients happy and well looked after. Highly recommend this place for the views the lovely accommodation.

I love the staff there! They made our stay very hospitable. The view of Tuscany is stunning. The beds were spaced apart well and there was ample head room for me when I sit up in the lower bed. The neighbors were phenomenal and friendly. Even the cats of Corvara were one of the highlights.

The best hostel experience I have ever had. The host showed incredible hospitality and set up the place to encourage friendly relationships and bonds to form. It is set in the beautiful mountains near cinque terre and a van service is provided for free to get to and from the towns. I highly recommend signing up for Francesco’s dinners every night.

The hostel has amazing views of the sunset and the surrounding area is serene. Francesco is the best host - so friendly! He gave us recommendations for hiking and served home cooked meals at 10€ which includes a main dish and dessert. Morning and evening shuttles are offered to pick us up from Monterosso which was really convenient. The atmosphere of the hostel was super welcoming. I stayed here with three other friends but it is great for solo travellers as well!

Ive stayed in this hostel for 2 nights and Im in absolute in love with the hostel and the host Frencesco. This hostel is the prime highlight of the whole Cinque Terre experience. When best of hostel met best of home stay 5 terre backpackers happened. Frencesco has hands of God, best Italian food I had in my 15 days trip. You HAVE to book this hostel. Youll probably no get it if you are booking at the last moment so hurry up. Its ALWAYS full. And yea it has a Hostelworld rating of crazy 9.9.

Quite possibly the best hostel on planet earth. Incredible staff, homely atmosphere, home-cooked meals and stunning scenery. If youre staying in cinque terre, this place does not come recommended highly enough.

The hostel was awesome, one of the best ice stayed in. Beds were comfy and the boys running the show were awesome. Be aware its up in the mountains so it is a bit of a commute to the Cinque Terre. They combat this with offering a free shuttle though. Wifi isnt in the rooms which is a bummer but it seemed to encourage more socialization. The dinners were delicious and the bonfires on cold nights were amazing. Would definitely stay again

The view here is spectacular and the staff is even better. Francesco ensured I had a great time and gave me an awesome parting gift when I checked out. If youre in cinque Terre you have to stay here!

Really nice and welcoming people, beautiful location and athmosphere. Clean bedroom and bathroom. Shuttle is available for free to the 1st village. And the italian dinner was very good, I recommend !

This place is super magical, in a remote village above the bustle of cinque terre, cobblestone buildings, sculptures, green mountains, sunsets...they offer shuttles 4 times a day to get back to Cinque Terre. Genuinely nice staff, great food, relaxing atmosphere. I recommend 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Although about 30 minutes drive from Cinque Terre villages, hostel shuttles were great and hosts are wonderful people and scenery from the hostel is beautiful! Great quiet place away from the crowded Had a wonderful stay there!

The best hostel ever? Possibly, amazing sunsets, amazing friendly staff, homey, comfortable beds, and very easy to meet people due to the chill out area. I wish the shuttle ran more, but the pros out way the cons vastly. Would recommend for everyone visiting Cinque Terre to stay here.

Beautiful views, amazing staff, and clean and up to date lodging. Dinner is cooked and can be purchased every night. Shuttles from monterosso in the vending, and to la Spezia in the morning. The best place to stay away from the beach. Kind staff, good company, and real family like atmosphere. 10/10 would recommend to a friend. Or anyone even.

Clean, convenient and well priced.

Cant give this place anything less than 5 stars. A modern yet comfortable house in a beautiful and quite lovely little hillside town. The view from this hostel is worth the 20ish minute drive from Monterosso. Id have stayed longer if I could (I recommend at least 3 nights). Youre getting want you pay for and a little more at this hostel. The dinner is served nightly is generously portioned and worth the $9 Euro. FYI the shuttle driver has good taste in music, although be aware that most music sounds better when traveling swiftly along perilously windy mountain roads.

Great stay at 5 Terre, shuttle service works well so location away from the coast is not an big issue. Very easy to meet other travelers and find hiking partners

Quite possibly the worlds most wonderful hostel. Francesco and his team make you feel welcome from the minute you arrive in the beautiful hills above cinque Terre. This truly is a home away from home. The views are incredible, no photo could ever do it justice. Fantastic facilities and such a good environment for making new friends. Cant praise this place highly enough, the management deserve all the success in the world.AND THE DINNERS ARE AMAZING. being cooked for, yes!!

Perfetto!I spent 3 days here and absolutely loved my time at this hostel. Francesco is wonderful! They provide home cooked meals every night (~10€and free shuttle to and from Monterosso. Its a great place for backpackers or even leisure travelers! I cant wait to go back!
