10-foot-tall, light-up letters that spell “Toronto,” set against a city-skyline backdrop.
Everytime I come down here there is always something going onLastnight ot was the people with the lights Allover there bikesETC
A nice little tourist attraction to commemorate your visit to TO. There were food trucks nearby and plenty of good vantage points to take pictures. It was easy to find and well done. It was a little bit busy and there was a fair bit of litter in the area but we were there on Thanksgiving Monday so its possible it hadnt been serviced since Friday.
Its a beautiful spot teeming with bustle and activity. Theres lots of pigeons, gulls, and sparrows, and food vendors with nice cheap food to eat while you rest. Puts a smile to my face
I love these signs and how they have jazzed them up over the years. This one overlooks the fountain at Nathans Phillips Square. Lights up at night and changes colors. Lots of art on the sides. Very busy area.
I went ard 9 ish in the morning. Not too many people. Had enough space to take clear pictures without the crows. And you can walk around looking for the best angle to take pictures.
It’s a nice place to take a stroll with friends or loved one. Ideal for a date as well if one’s on a budget.Evening is best because you get to see the city lights. It’s beautiful and I recommend ♥️
Very iconic Toronto sign with lit-up letters that change depending on the theme, celebration or commemoration. Stationed at City Hall, near the fountain/ice rink (in winter), this sign is very popular among tourists and makes for a great meet up landmark. Really pretty at all times of the day, and great to stand in front (or climbfor photos to capture the City Hall building behind it.Tip: Closest intersection would be Bay St and Queen St (Queen Subway Station South Side, not Eaton Centre North exit). Also stop by the CN Town for the Canada Sign for your photographs too.
Massive sign which keeps changing colour. Iconic landmark of downtown area
Best place to visit on weekend, the vibes on weekends is totally different as well as many cultural festival’s are happening on weekends that without entry fees.
Great space! There was an event seemingly every weekend I was there....i.e. Festival of India, Dragon Festival, Celebrate Toronto Art Fair, etc.Plenty of food, music, dance, and friendly, cosmopolitan mix of people.Certainly seems to embody the city.
A very nice experience, and a positive opportunity to leave a nice memory of such famous places
A definite must see and stop while walking and touring the city. The sign is great for pictures both day and evening.
Very nice place but gets quite busy on weekends and holidays
Nice sign. A great spot to take pictures. Just really crowded and nothing so special. Still a great place to visit.
Everyone here is cool. Very relaxed, beautiful place a church near by and 5 dollar hot dog and fries near by.
Nice and relaxing you can sit here for hours enjoy the fountains and view and relax yourself
A must visit location for any tourist. Get a classic Toronto sign photo. Also beautiful at night
Huge tourist attractions vendors and all close to the subway easy transportation, next to the eaten centre mall and also stages alot of event. One stop shop and adventure
Nice place especially your first time visiting the city just check out and post for the picture or selfie onnthis sign
We went to attend Taste of India though the event itself was very crowded and cramped, this place especially the sign of Toronto itself is great and it is a good place to take a souvenir picture if you are visiting Toronto city!
This is tourist must visit sign. Since Mayor put the Toronto sign letter here are boom 💥 ,greatest idea for the city. Its hit make the city more awesome 👌.
Nice little "photo opportunity" spot in downtown Toronto. Stopped here after seeing a play late one night. Happy to see a police presence here to make us feel safe enough to visit at 11:00 p.m. Cool place.
Nice place to chill out your evenings. People busy taking pics and the pool becomes skating rink in winter. Lot of food festivals and cultural festivals happen through out summer. Dundas Square and Toronto Eaton Center mall are at a walkable distance.
Awesome place to click pictures. There are fountains. The place gets frozen during winters. There are public events and festivals almost every weekends
Loved this place!! There is a stage at the back of the 3D sign where some cultural dance/singing performance happens during weekends. There are benches to sit and explore the beauty of the place. We enjoyed a lot. Recommend going during evening hours.
Great Torontorian experience, must see landmark for tourist.Parking in the basement itself.Occasional conventions place. Good for kids and Family. You could find many snack stores nearby.Great transportation connectivity.Good for a memory picture those who visit.Recommend this place.
Really good place for chilling. Go there with friends or family. Sit there, enjoy the view and have some food from the food trucks there. Good life.
Nice relaxed evening atmosphere. No events on the evening we were there and could still see a glimpse of the CN tower in between highrises
The must visit place in Toronto. Great public place to hangout!. Multiple food trucks, coffee places, chess events .. the location is great right next to city hall and eat-on mall .. overall good vibes
ProsCool hangout spot, looks great mid day with the sun glaring on it.ConsDirty, some homeless people roam about and might ask for money.
Lots of people climbing in and sitting around sign during the day. This probably looks better at night or during the winter when there is skating.
walked pass this to get to and from the National Ballet performance of Swan Lake. Fabulous, excellent performance. Here until June 26 but sadly totally sold out!! Both dancers and orchestra, costumes and set designs were beyond superb in Karen Kains Devine staging and direction of her retirement piece. What a treat. Now to the sign! Sorry I digressed there. I love this sign and pass it many times in a car but never actually stop to walk Nathan Phillips Square because its horrible to find parking downtown at anytime of day and night. There are often art structures in the pool when its not a skating rink during the winter. Today was the 5 iceberg depicting climate change danger and mix medium of its composition. I really like the sign of Toronto tell you what city you are in and proud of it. It does light up in colours at night. Great tourist sign. Unfortunately, when you live in the city you never" play tourist" to enjoy what others come to see and appreciate about our city..
Great night views!Simple tip to avoid crowding: go to the opposite side of the sign, take your pictures and flip them (mirror viewafterwards!
This is, I understand, a point for photos. A good reminder of our visit to Toronto. This place is very close to Eaton center and when we visit this center, we may visit 3D Toronto sign as well.
Nice huge outdoors place for family kids and friends to come and visit and I came to celebrate 🥂☺️ my 40th bday in Toronto just to take a picture by this sign. Hoping that I would see my favorite celebrity Drake 😍😘
It was amazing tour and presentation. You are missing your life if you live in GTA and have never been there
A super popular meeting place for groups, its one of the most famous tourist spot in the entire city. Many of the meet up groups have neon lights as a theme so its even better at night! Check Facebook for the "Neon Riders", "Toronto E-Riders" and the "Mississauga E-Riders". These groups will change your mind how best to meet new people with common interests! Best people you will ever meet!
Toronto is not a historic city. It is a vibrant city with iconic landmarks like Nathan Phillips Square. If you have come to Toronto, you should have a photo under the 3D Toronto Sign.
A nice iconic place to go, you must go at night because of the cool lights for the pictures. The site is safe and there are some street food cars so you can buy something while looking at the Toronto sign. Dont leave the city without your picture 👌
Nathan Phillips square is an amazing place to visit in Toronto. It includes an exhilarating ice rink during winter season, The delicious and organic Ontario Farmers market during spring and summer seasons, and delicious food trucks all year round. Sometimes there are exciting events and gatherings. Highly recommend visiting this place.
The Toronto sign at Nathan Philips square is a great place for selfies & photos as a souvenir when visiting Toronto. Much better during night. Pics can be clicked on both sides back & front. Usually during the day fountain in front of the sign is closed. Overall a one time visit for keepsake.. stroller friendly & does not require tickets.
A very iconoc place of the city. Really nice to take some photos and in winter, the place to skate with a Toronto background. Also a really good place to sit down and have a break if you are walking around downtown.
Huge sign but not really the best for pictures. It makes an incredible backdrop for the ice-skating rand to just look at the city. If you don’t intend to go skating, there’s really nothing to do in this area except for take pictures of the side. So we save this moment for right before we headed to the airport! You cannot park on the street so we parked in the garage connected. It only cost us a few dollars since we spent about 20 minutes taking pictures.
It is the heart of downtown. This place is famous for posing for pictures with the TORONTO sign flashing in bright colors. There is a fountain in the summer days and it is converted to skating rink in the winters. There are few hotdogs and fries food stalls on the street.
Its really cold when i go this places most of the people go there for skating during winter… i love the colours of the sign.. i think it’s recommendable during summer…
An outdoors ice rink mask or no mask it is all good keep your distance enjoy the music skate to the beat.⛸Renting is available the line up to rent is ok in the mornings, but too busy in the Evenings better have your own skates or watch the surrounding buildings as you wait , chat, and the action on the rink is fun to watch.
A great place to go here with your family and friends; Do skating during winters and click pictures with the 3D Toronto sign. As this is covered by huge buildings, The cool breeze makes it more pleasant.Good to visit would be after sunset.
Beautiful neon Toronto signage at Nathan Phillips square where the ice skating happens! Beautiful for photos, an afternoon of skating or just a walk downtown !Check it out!
One of the major attractions that is often visited by every tourist. Its really beautiful at all times day or night. Its just lovely to go there and have a good time.
One of the best attractions of Toronto. You will need at least 3 hrs to make the best of your visit to this amazing castle .Learn about the history of Sir Henry and his amazing achievements and the construcción of this amazing structure.
