Lovely atmosphere, good wines and live jazz music!

We had a big dinner at the jazz place across the way. Good food, good service, lovely cocktails. Lovely jazz music too.

My colleague and I were served expired burrata which is unacceptable, we ended being very sick, vomitting and missing work...The rice pudding was not cooked enough...Very poor experience, I will not go back and do not recommend...

Good place for mid-week lunch. Service could have been faster. Didnt have wine, but the wine list looked excellent.

Quaint restaurant a bit off the beaten path, with a great atmosphere. The drinks are delicious and the sharing plater was good.

Had an absolutely fabulous lunch, enjoyed every bite and every sip of wine. Service was incredible, exquisite attention to details, food was delicious and couldn’t get enough of the wines that came with it, the pairing was spot on. Jules, the head sommelier really knows what he’s doing.Will definitely return!

Nice cocktails and wine selection. Wines are very pricey though. We had delicious negronis and espresso martinis. The service was very friendly and efficient.

Excellent brunch. I had the scrambled egg and bacon in toast and my partner had the salmon, avocado and poached eggs. Very nice place.

Second time I’ve come here, this time for lunch. Made a reservation just in case as the area is usually quite busy and that was a good shout. Food was very tasty. Can highly recommend the set lunch menu as it is an absolute bargain. Staff was super friendly and very nice and the atmosphere is great. It can get super busy in the evenings for drinks but during lunch time it’s just perfect.

Absolutely stunning place on first impressions, lovely decor, well thought out, despite being a little crammed and felt in the way. Staff were amazing, ever so lovely, kind, attentive and helpful with all the questions that we had... The food was ever so tasty, well presented and great temperature. I loved my experience in this place, I would definitely come here again and I would 100% recommend this restaurant to everyone!!

I come here a lot because I always have a great time but honestly tonight was so fun because of Arnie! She was really welcoming and managed to slot us in on a really busy night and popped round every now and then to make us giggle all night long! Thank you for being so lovely to us, Arnie 💕

Being bitten by a mouse and mocked after is not the best restaurant experience we expect. On the evening of Aug 22, my friend and I went to the restaurant for food and drinks. The staff was really friendly. We enjoyed the night until a mouse bit my friend’s toes and left awound. Things turn sour soon after. After we requested to move our table inside and explained the situation to the staff, a waitress said, “oh sorry, it’s a bad and non-friendly mouse”. None of the team expressed their concern. My friend was worried as we were unsure if it was a rat or a mouse. When my friend went to the bathroom to clean it up, the staff discussed it, saying my friend was exaggerating. One of the staff asked my friend whether she was a touristand mouses were very common in London. (for the record, my friend lived inLondon for five years, and we were well aware of thatAnother staff asked tosee the wound, showing his scepticism over our “dramatic” reaction. After we talked to the management about it, eventually, theyapologised and took care of the bill. My friend had to stay at the A&E until 4 am for a tetanus shot and antibiotics. First, I think the staff could have been more concerned. I get that mouses is a familiar scene in London but mocking your customers is not OK. Second, the mouse was running next to our tables, and even though it was anoutside area, it was within the restaurants premises. I hope the restaurant realised the emotional stress it brought to my friend. As I said, the food and staff were good until the bite. I sincerely hope you will address the concerns and improve your services.

Brilliant bar & restaurant with great food choices, nice wines, fabulous ambiance inside & outside and a great team. Hands down, the BEST in London. 🤩

I give one star only for the friendly waitress we found. The food was awful. The risotto was overcooked, the hamburger made with low quality industrial bread.

Nice wine list, quite extensive.We ordered some cheese, hummous and olives. All were good i would say.Biggest let down was the staff which seemed quite disorganized. Painful to order and even pay. Maybe staff was new.

Chic restaurant with stunning decor, great music and the most delicious food and drink. To top it off, incredibly kind and attentive service every time you come - they really do make an effort. Dog friendly too! The decor and music mean that even on a Monday or Tuesday night, the vibe is good, without being too loud. Cant recommend enough!!

Hugely expensive for a hugely disappointing service and food. The pictures online & the “pitch” must be for a very different restaurant than this place. The service was shocking, 90 minutes from entering to serve main course. The meat (steakswas cold and overcooked on the outside, red raw on the inside, while the vegitarians option (Savoy cabbage and mushroom sauce), was a veg spring roll, effectively, served as a main course for £17! We didn’t pay service charge & judging by the look on the girls face, this wasn’t the first time that had happened. There were 3 other tables to serve in the whole restaurant and they had one waitress. Appalling. Do not go. Visit the exquisite delamina opposite.

We went for drinks before dinner. It was busy and clearly popular (even on a Monday, which is positive).We sat at a high table which had bag clips to keep valuables safe and off the floor (nice touch). But it did constantly feel like we were in the staffs thoroughfare for the place.The wine list was impressive but pricey. We ordered a bottle that ended up costing quite a lot. Service was really quite slow and the bottle was warm and not really ready for drinking. For all the staff rushing around it seemed hard to get their attention.I would have thought for somewhere priding itself on its wine it would have been more slick with wine ready to serve at the right temperature.I might go back if I were going to try eating there, out of the staffs route, and with more time for my wine to chill, but I wont be hurrying to do so.

Good food (modest portions - not necessarily a bad thing!), nice wine list and fairly reasonable prices. Good service. Table not too cramped.

Have been going here for a while. Disappointing that they don’t have the set menu on the weekend anymore. Food was tasty as always, although my steak today was more medium to well instead of Medium and the staff were not very helpful at all today. No thanks and goodbyes etc. would have second thoughts on returning now.

Great spot for gossip catch-up, first or second date, or serious business meeting - over nibbles and a great selection of wine.

Contemporaneous clear brightly-lit modern atmosphere restaurant with lovely friendly staff and great food. We had the luck to attend with the 50% discount, which was a big plus -- finally one of us was celebrating his birthday, and we then had 4 flutes of champagne, offered by 28-50 which was delicious and a great start of our super long lunch!Off Oxford Street shopping area, it is a great option for a shopping spree lunch break, or simply meeting up with friends who you hadnt seen in ages, due to covid restrictions, which are now lifting!Loved the visit, would certainly go again soon!

Food took FOREVER to be served. Arrived 12:15 eventually served our main at 13:25…The 50% lunch menu is great but not if other parts of a restaurant experience are lacking.Staff slow and with no sense of urgency.The wait to be offered a drink was far too long - was not a full restaurant at this point. The high top tables constantly knocked by staff working the back wall - really badly laid out space.Food was ok, nothing special.I’ve noticed that other similar reviews have had the response ‘the past 18 months have been challenging In hospitality’ but I’m exhausted by this excuse. If you want people to frequent your establishment at the same, if not inflated prices, and add a service charge then it’s up to you to provide the best experience.Customers can live without spending their hard earned cash at restaurants, but restaurants need customers to survive.

Celebrated my husband and Is anniversary here on Tuesday. The food was amazing, great wine list and the staff were some of the friendliest and most helpful weve ever had in London, wouldnt hesitate to recommend and will certainly be back!

A great restaurant for food and for drinks. A great variety of wines and absolutely amazing charcuterie boards. Spend a wonderful evening there, would certainly come back to try more.

Fabulous restaurant with fabulous sommelier!We ordered a seafood platter which is more than recommended- super delicious and fresh and paired with champagne and white wine!For the main dish I ordered a meat - which was prepared perfectly and super delicious.Vibes and ambient were amazing!Definitely recommend it

Expensive, nearly excellent, but ultimately fails at the essentials.Slow service; starter forgotten, first food took 95 minutes.Inconsistent; starter forgotten, drinks forgotten, generally inattentive through understaffing.Food; hits and misses. Artichoke and buratta a hit, duck rillette a total miss. Lamb hit, burger Miss.The bill; extra bottle of wine added we didn’t drink.

A pleasant breakfast brunch with work colleagues. This venue wasn’t our first choice but as our booking at The Ivy Cafe Marylebone was cancelled due to a gas problem in the kitchen, we were taken here.A lovely choice, great food, very tasty and filling. I could eat this every day! Yum.

Superb! The place is cozy and spacious. The food is great with a nice serving and very well balanced taste. The choice is good as well. Highly recommend hake, it was very flavorful and the sause with seafood was so creamy but not too heavy at the same time. Medium-rare (swipe right to see the cut- juicy, well seasoned. Pure perfection!.🦀CRAB SALAD - crab is my new seafood favourite and it was combined very well with the mango & avocado puree 🥭🥑.HUMMUS & PITA BREAD - freshly made pita with some paprika flavoured hummus..Selection of ICE-CREAMS and SORBETS 🍦🍨.Strawberry TARTELETTE with vanilla creme patissiere - cherry on top to the perfect lunch 🍓.Bottle of Chateau de Candie Viognier - restaurant’s own produce from the French Alps 🍾.The whole experience was just perfect. From the service to the food and drinks, I was in seventh heaven.Regarding the COVID measures: all the staff were wearing masks, sanitiser at the entrance and near toilets. Such a lovely place for a relaxed glass of wine or cocktails. We had food with our drinks as well. The Thai Salad was absolutely delicious with just the right amount of coriander topped off with grapefruit for acidity. As soon as the food arrived we also had the cutest guest at our table trying to convince us to give him/her some goodies. I suspect it’s the dog of the owner. Overall a great place to wine and dine. Would recommend.

Nice restaurant and wine bar. I had the burger as I was curious to how a 18GBP burger would taste as the waiter really said it was great. Decided to go with the burger as I had enough fish and other English dishes over the week. Well, I was not blown away by the burger as the meat was a bit over cooked. I have had better for less.

Ooooh how can I not leave a review for this place! Its a special place for me, my favorite in London, has great wine thats truly irresistible. Waiters are very knowledgeable about wine and can accurately describe the taste that exactly suits our need. Lovely atmosphere thats perfect for conversation accompanied by great food and wine. Im very much biased towards this restaurant and will stay biased.❤️❤️
