Great beers, food is good, nice place!
Food was better than beer, which kid of sucks for a brewery.
Love the watermelon and mango beers. Their fries are also amazing. Careful when you order the fried calamari, they include fried jalapenos which are deceptively spicy, so avoid eating those if youre sensitive to heat (but the calamaris themselves are totally safe and delicious)
Moreyou guys have some really amazing bartenders and servers. the beer is great to of. purse but I just wanted to give a shout out to the crew here ❤️❤️🍻🍻🍺🍺
MoreTerrible staff. Leave guests waiting in line outside when plenty of tables are open. You must order through the QR code. If you dont have a zip code its impossible to order. Tried to order two beers at the bar and the lady bartender refused saying she was too busy. Finally a food server came and took our order. After that all the staff wouldnt say a word to us..
MoreKind of ruined my opinion of the beer company as a whole. Beer was fine, but the food was a hot mess. Hopefully you’re drunk by the time you eat!
MoreWe came here on a night about 2 hours before a Giants game and it was packed. Despite being packed, the waitress got us a table about 5 minutes after we came in. The chicken wings were amazing and the burgers were some of the best Ive ever had. The service was quite quick which was great so we could get into Oracle Park at a great time and have plenty of time to get to our seats.
MoreThis place is awesome, I have been here a couple of times. I got introduced to this place from my co worker as he always spoke about 21st Amendments watermelon beer. The first time I went there was when there was a world cup and the place was packed. Its a place where you want to come with your friends and watch the game. By going there a couple of times I have found out that it is close to the AT&T park. This place is great to go after the game or before. They also have out door seating, great for those summer days in the city. With that watermelon beer. I cant wait for summer to come so I can go there and just chill. I did get to try the food there, it was all right its like any other resturant that serves American food. But I would mainly just go there fot the beer.
MoreThese guys just doesn’t want to serve the customers. Tried to enter around 9:15pm when the brewery closes at 10pm and they said ‘closed earlier today’ FOR NO REASON. Happened twice. Just shut down the place if you do not want to operate in the business hours or at least try to stick to the stated business hours. Can’t give zero stars, thus had to give 1 star. Spoiled the whole mood.
More21st Amendment is an awesome place to grab a beer and hangout. Its a decently big bar, with tables, booths, and bar seating. There is a downstairs dining area, and a smaller upstairs dining area. There are also TVs at the bar, which makes it a good place to catch some sports. The food is pretty good too. Overall, this is one of my favorite bars in SOMA. A small, but great selection of beers.
MoreStopped in while visiting from the East Coast. We have had the beer there and were not impressed but we wanted to try it fresh. Bottom line, cool venue, wonderful staff, below average beer. Its still a chill placec to hang out, just know what you are getting.
MoreVisiting fr England and really glad we got a chance to get some drinks here, great selection of beers and fantastic staff. Really friendly welcoming atmosphere
MoreThe tacos were sooooo good! As were the beers
Absolutely fantastic brewpub. ❤️ Great selection of food, amazing service, lots of interesting and quality beers to choose between. 🍻We came on a game night and despite the place being packed, the waitress still had time to advise us on the beers and made it a wonderful experience. 👏Can definitely recommend this place to beer lovers.
MoreGreat selection of beer and cider. The Reuben sandwich was dry and the bread over toasted. The chicken sandwich did not have a lot of taste.
MoreDelicious brews- we had their black IPA, will definitely return!
Great name, solid beer offerings and the food is better than you would expect. It’s a true neighborhood brew pub, easy to get to and hard to leave from. The staff knows their beer and provides a level of service beyond that of a typical pub. A must visit while in San Francisco. Highly recommend
MoreThis place has lovely beers. The watermelon wheat is fab!!
Two stars from me means its edible but I wouldnt choose to go here. If someone else insists on going here Ill go along to be polite. I had several beers and they were fine but unremarkable. I ate the fish and chips which were soggy, greasy, and bland. The menu is generic and uninteresting.
MoreTasty brewery style food with friendly bartenders and a modern space. Favorite food was the Wisconsin cheese curds. Fried to perfection
MoreGood place for beers but I would not reccomend the food. Guac was pasty and jelly like. Fried chicken sandwich was 4 chicken nuggets on roll with way to much coleslaw. Fish and chips had more lettuce (not a salad but just lettuce, plate filleron the plate then fries. We were excited to visit here bc of the reviews but the food was overall disappointing. Wait staff was friendly.
MoreVisited 21st Amendment in May 2021 and it was a terrific experience. It was late at night near closing on our last day in San Francisco. They went above and beyond with accommodating us. We had a flight of beers. Hell or High Watermelon on draft with a slice of fresh watermelon is hands down one of the best beers Ive ever tasted. They made us feel like family there and we will forever be loyal customers because of their generosity.
MoreThis place is a gem! Gotta try the Mango wheat, pumpkin IPA and the Dark Side of the Schwartz!!! Fabulous!
More21st Amendment features a pleasant open-bar ambience with food and drink to match. Friendly staff and waiters are a plus here - wed go again for a pre-game meal.
MoreOne word, yum!! Their Brew Day Burger is by far one of the best Ive had around. The fact the blue cheese crumbles were slightly melted and caramelized on the burger was an unexpected take on what could have been a pretty basic burger. The sole recommendation would be to use a brioche bun on the burger. The bun was nicely toasted and accepted the burger, but could have been slightly elevated with a more buttery and rich option.
MoreThe beer was great! The food was good, the guacamole and chip was just not up to par with the rest of what this place has to offer. I just cant give it a 5 star. If just you want good beer and a great place to hang out, this would be a great place.
MoreWe flew from Miami to San Francisco and had a 2.5 hour delay along the way. 21st Amendment Brewery was just what the doctor ordered after that nightmare. Amazing apps (tatchos, calamari, and wings+ Reuben sandwich. Great waitstaff and the beer flight was awesome! We loved all the brews, especially the In n Oat, Watermelon Wheat, and How Hop are You.
MoreTook a trip down to 21st amendment brewing after a long day of work and enjoyed a couple brews. Nice atmosphere with adequate outdoor seating and plenty of sports on the radio. The beers are also good, but we didn’t try any of the food. I would be interested in coming back here and trying some of the dishes I saw come past our table
MoreGood selection of beers. Did the 6 strong beer sampler. Staff was nice beers were good but not as good as the ones in RVA.
MoreAlways a good experience here. One of the best breweries in San Francisco, 21st Amendment also has solid food offerings to compliment their classic beers. Wait until the summer, then come here for a glass of Watermelon Wheat with an actual watermelon slice in it. Oh yeah!
MoreLarge selection of top quality San Francisco craft beers. The food and snacks are also delicious, in particular the "tachos" and the tater tots. Great place to watch the big sports game of the night as well, as there are plenty of TVs.
MoreNice little bar in a quiet area of town. Beer flight was tasty with the "Hell or High Watermelon! and the "Sparkale" being our favourites!
MoreAmazing pit stop close to stadium either before or after baseball game.Beers are awesome..staff totally engaging despite the volume. GM runs a great ship.Dont miss out on your next trip.Keep up the good work!!!
MorePretty good micro w/ good bar food. Beers are great of course! Has a nice kind of rustic look to it. Had the Totchos & they were really good!
MoreGreat place for a beer and service.Came to 21st amendment for dinner. Wasn’t very crowded and was shown to our seats pretty quick.Ordered a fish and chips and a burger. Both were done well and we loved it very much.My partner made an accident by spilling the beer and the waitress immediately replaced it. Another waiter helped to clean the area immediate. Great service. keep it up guys.
MoreChili was delicious and satisfying but the sliced French bread that accompanied it was very hard and stale. Fish and chips was good but portion was smaller than expected and fries were hard. Cuban sandwich was tasty but again the bread was very hard. Service was excellent.
MoreThis was on my list of places to see while in San Francisco and Im so glad I did. The beers on tap were enjoyable and the food was delicious. Even the venue itself was cool with seating at traditional tables, the bar, or even a little deck upstairs. Definitely worth a visit.
MoreDont know how good their beer is, but their babyback ribs left much to be desired. Its one of the worst ribs Ive had at such an establishment. It wasnt completely inedible, but it was way too tough and I found myself not wanting to finish it, and I really like ribs. For a place like this, I expected better. Thats what I get for ordering ribs at a place famous for their beer I suppose.
MoreFantastic place with great beer and food. The Rueben Sandwich was particularly excellent and would definitely come back again to get another. They also have a vast range of beers, some quite experimental. I rather enjoyed the watermelon beer (with real watermelonand peanut butter stout (no peanut butter). The staff and interior design lead to a great atmosphere.
MoreA watermelon slice on my watermelon sour?! Better than a cherry in top. A nice selection for the casual beer drinker but not the most interesting list. Great and classic beer drinking food. I sat at the bar which was a buy noise. They also have upstairs and outside seating options for whatever youre in the mood for.
MoreThis spot is a cool San Francisco beer pub. I like the Baby Horse and was disappointed that its out of season and not on tap at the moment, but the food, atmosphere and beer ate what youd expect from a neighborhood pub.
MoreRating the beer mostly. Came here cause i loved the blood orange beer but have to say the others didnt live to its quality at all. Most of them tasted like failed home brews. Cherry wheat was bland, Watermelon was bland, Keen Been was watery (yes there is coffee flavour but that is not difficult to achieve), Henrik imperial stout had no malt complexity and too much residual sugar. If you care for quality craft beer i wouldnt come here, otherwise it seemed like an enjoyable place.
MoreGreat to visit while on vacation! As busy as it was, service was outstanding, quick and food so delicious! Husband had a flight, I had hard cider, all great-tasting! (No surprise.Took recommendation of server on salad and Cuban sandwich, glad we did! Highly recommend this place.
MoreAmazing beers, great atmosphere and friendly staff. The food was a bit pricey, but good size portions.Family friendly.
MoreGreat beers, excellent food, amazing service! We recommend the street tacos (carnitasand the amazing craft beer! Excited to have gotten to eat/drink here. 21st Amendment is one of my favorite California brewers! Cheers!
MoreExcellent beers! Didnt try the food but it looks and smells good. Friendly fast service. Good entourage. Note a can of "Duff" in their collection in the photo attached. Also, Gluek is a 160-years-old beer from WI
MoreI could sound totally bias but I love the beer and this place is amazing. First the decor fits right in with the rest of the neighborhood. The food was great, had three different things off the menu nothing was horrible. Atmosphere was happening the place was packed full of people everyone seemed to just belong here. The staff were hard to pick out of the crowd I really wish they wore a 21st Amendment shirt that was unique only to staff. I accidentally another guest for some napkins. The beers they only serve their beers so if you dont like their beers do not come here and ask for a Miller Lite.Bottom line GO!
MoreDecent selection, maybe a few too many for a brewery of this level. Could remove two or three and improve the rest while they ride the Hell or High Watermelon wave. It was game day when I went, so no flights.Glasses werent beer clean and beers were improperly poured -- tap in the glass, excessive foam remedied by allowing beer to spill over, pouring two beers at once...But try their Steam Beer. Worth a shot if youre nearby; dont go out of your way for a craft sports bar.
MoreReally awesome beer (obviouslyand the veggie burger was great. Service was great too. Overall, its a really good, chill place to grab food and beer.
MoreThis is a great restaurant and brewery. I like the reuben sandwich or fish and chips. My favorite beers are the Elizabeth St Bitter, Gold Medal Maibock, and El Sully. For desert, try the Chocolate Pudding Stout.
