Upscale menu of Italian favorites served in a splashy setting with a fire-lit outdoor plaza.
Its good place for dance, enjoy some drinks have a nice view and u can go to the firepot and relax .. the music its not bad they have some regaeton , hiphop and more, also have another salon with live Banda and dj bartender are ok.. the hotdogs are bad also tacos thats why 4☆
Great experience for my girl Carina on her birthday! We loved the VIP set up & most importantly the birthday recognition blast🔥🔥🔥 Ty Rocio & the staff who went above & beyond their Job description!
Great music provided by David Ford,Doug and Doc ........the Triple Ds.Bottomless Mimosas or Bloody Marys along with good food and music on a sunny day in the patio....hard to beat.
The night club experience was very fun! We arrived at 930pm. We walked over from bars down the way and paid $50 for our 2 wrist bands. Lots of security helped me feel safe as the Uber driver suggested not to stay out too late. The multiple bar options was cool and we had to close out after each drink order. Most bartenders were on their stuff even if they were vibing with the DJ. The floor was quite sticky and my heels were very stuck so it made it tough to dance in the bar upstairs where the DJ played. The banda was very popular and the bartender there really impressed me. I got to try my cocktail before committing and it was so strong he gave me the sign of the cross because it was an AMF. I was dancing all night with my date close to the stage where there was a nearby counter for my purse and jacket. We would head over to the bathroom nearby through the night and I think it was moderately serviced. Staff frequently removed empty beers and cups from the counter and lights went on at 1:30 am. I would go back for sure!
(James Dean BarA bit pricey, had 1 Cali squeeze beer and it was $14. I mean, I know theres inflation but wow. Bar tender greeted me as I came in, was polite and attentive, which is why Im giving it 2 stars
RUDE BARTENDER AND A SPINELESS OWNER...Last night I attended the evening activities and while dancing in the main room my hands accidentally hit a dangerously low light fixture actually cutting my finger. Testing my reach I hit the object two more times to show the staff the issue. At this point the bartender ordered the security to escort me off the property. On my way out the owner approached us and asked what the issue was. I explained my problem to him and he looked at the bartender and said that she is the boss and kicked me out without refunding my $25. Im a small business owner and a consistently good customer that brings money and attention to the establishment. No warnings were issued and I was never told I was doing anything wrong. I am always polite and I tip gracefully...I even paid for the bartender and her girlfriends movie tickets the month before, what a nasty individual. Watch out for this place and their employees bringing personal matters into the workplace.
Party halls are really nice and can be arranged in the best way that works for your desired event.
We had an event last Saturday, mainly a dinner and drinks. The food was delicious and the service everyone provided was beyond great... Thanks to all the staff and Taylor, you guys made the experience wonderful for our family and guests Thank you!
Im not sure if they still have the Sunday morning buffet but if they do, I highly recommend going. If you like bottomless mimosas, I suggest you pay a little extra to eat and drink all you want.
Wow.If you want an amazing brunch buffet, come here. Dont ask questions, just do it, and thank me laterAlso the staff is super friendly
The Wine room is a nice setup for gathering of around 70 people. Includes enough space for a dance floor and DJ.
Great place for a Sunday brunch! No rush, great food and service.
Had a holiday party last night here. Fast bartenders, spacious dinning hall and the food was amazing. Staff was friendly and very quick to clear plants and rotate the buffet.
Upscale place to enjoy brunch, relax etc. Service was very good, servers were friendly. Though food was good, it was a bit pricey.
If I could give ZERO stars, I would. This place is TRASH. Worst nightmare of a night I have had in my life yet & I was in the VIP section upstairs in the far back corner of the property. Spilled drinks EVERYWHERE & NO ONE was cleaning them up but myself (so I wouldnt slip and falland the place was way too hot even though they clearly had air conditioning (theyre probably too cheap to turn it on). At about 1:00am I had walked out by my car to go and flag down my husband, no one was at any of the doors securing them, not a single person at any point of being there had notified me that there was a "dress code" or no re-entering after a point in time. I was outside for about 5 mins flagging down my husband when another security went back to the main glass entrance door to finally secure it. They apparently have a "dress code" even though there was plenty of people who I had seen that where NOT in dress code what so ever and security wouldnt let my husband in because he wasnt in "dress code". I had told my husband to just go home and get his rest, so I ended up getting left outside alone thinking I would be let back in since I had my VIP wristband on. I had nothing but my VIP wristband and luckily I had my credit card on me to identify myself but even then no one would let me in even though my wallet, ID and money where all inside, which I had explained and I was also the designated driver for the main VIP who was celebrating her birthday. Still the very rude security woman who had FINALLY walked up to secure the 201 gate still wouldnt let me in. Now Im a female only about 4"11 feet tall and I was left in the cold with a bunch of homeless people around me who where literally tripping out like they where on several drugs and a bunch of groups of men eyeballing me, I WAS SO AFRAID. So I checked my pockets for anything and luckily I had found my car keys in my coat and I locked myself in my car. I had finally seen the security who had let me into the building in the first place and explained to him what happened and showed him my VIP wristband and FINALLY by about 1:45am I was let back in. Please dont waist your time coming here unless you want to get locked out of a building in the middle of a cold night, spend that time next to drugged up homeless and groups of men, and Im talking 5+ big men in several groups looking like they are all going to stuff you in a van to never see the light of day again. I DID NOT FEEL SAFE. ZERO STARS IF I COULD. Also posted a photo of the 201 gate UNguarded at 2:06am.
went for a buffet brunch last sunday.bottomless mimosas where $7 even had berries to drop into my drink😊. Waffle stand, omelette stand, variety of meats and fruits.$67, five bottles of champagne later, an we left with some good memories (last ones out too)
I love this place.. and not just saying that cuz I work there.. lol.. ❣️
Afternoon Mango Margaritas, and Elote
Love the varieties of music! The food is also really good!
Food was amazing, but service was terrible
The other Italian restaurant had a long, long wait so we decided to try this newer spot. I am so glad we did. The welcome was warm, accommodated my hearing impaired friends need for quiet, the food was fabulous (creative, generous, and fresh), and the service was exquisite. It felt like we were the only ones there given the attention the staff paid, but the restaurant was bustling...just skillfully and fully staffed.

Lovely restaurant in an old bank building. My current favorite menu item is the Sweet & Spicy Asparagus fries. They are delicious by themselves, but the special Cajun dipping sauce make them that much better. I had to ask for another bowl of the sauce and add it to my calamari fries. So delicious!
Fabulous atmosphere. Service was great. Foods a good selection for Brunch! Will return because of the welcoming staff!!
My friend and I found Giorgios while on a walk of downtown. The ambiance is what drew us in, but the menu, including the artichoke soup and vegetable risotto is what "sealed the deal"! Truly fresh, creative and especially delicious food! Great service from thoughtful and friendly staff! Cheers to Primo Rodriguez, General Manager and Santos Bautista, the extremely talented Executive Chef!!
This is a classy, but very laid back place. All of the dishes are great and the staff are very friendly and attentive. This is also a great place for drinks. They have a good wine selection and the restaurants signature cocktails are great as well. This place is a must if youre in Salinas.
We finally made it to Giorgios for dinner and it was amazing. Im so happy to see another great fine dining restaurant doing well in Salinas, especially in Old Town. Ive eaten at the other fairly new Italian/French restaurant in Old Town (will not say the name), and I must say this place is better! The atmosphere is absolteuly amazing, super high ceilings, great decor, just nice ambiance. The drinks were OK, my wife got their version of a Moscow Mule, I got some Berry thing. We had the Carpaccio to start which was excellent. We got a couple of starter salads which were really good (I think I had the Spinach Salad, dont remember what the wife got). For the main course I got the Short Rib which was amazing, and my wife got the Ribeye, which was amazing as well, although it wasnt cooked to the correct temp (it was very raw for a Medium Rare), but she was OK with it.
The happy hour Food deals are great. Very tasty. Good service and the wine was super. Restaurant looks really good. Pity that iT was a little cold.
Worst service ever never brought me my drink after so many times asking for it more than 3 times n I tried getting myself but said server had to couldn’t get myself a water after I explained twice to da bartender since second time going to him cause waitress wouldn’t. Apart from that from a beginning never brought da silverware had to go ask for it myself n never brought any sugar for coffee. Badddd service wouldn’t come here again apart had a promoción said kids under 5 eat free But was charged I was just upset with the whole ordeal upset about the service yeah really luxurious look but terrible worst service
This place is awesome. The architecture of the building is amazing, and Im really happy they kept a lot of the old building intact when they renovated this place. They have great outdoor seating options, and every seat in the house is comfortable. Their Sunday brunch deal is the best in town. The staff has been really helpful every time I have gone. In and out one of the best restaurants in Salinas. My only complaint is that it is a bit expensive, but like I said one of the best.
The food is good, but the service is bad, and the drinks are weak. The restaurant was empty and while the food took 1 hr the waitress only came twice, so in that hour I was only able to order 2 drinks, which tasted like water. And I finally got a glass of water when my food arrived. I wont come back for dinner.
Really great brunch and they had live music. Was very impressed, it was romantic and delicious. Would love to go back
The breakfast buffet was excellent. We went right when they opened so,it seemed a little unorganized. I wish they would have had place cards next to the serving containers so you didnt have to open each one. For such a beautiful place Im just surprised they overlooked that detail. They missed the mark on guest having to make there own Mimosas. I understand the reasoning but, it still seems odd
Excellent service, food was great . Love the old building lots of charm and the live bands are really good. Must visit !
I love this place so much. Ive been here several times for the Sunday brunch. It is so good. All the food is consitenly delicious. I like the lay out of this restaurant with seating on the inside as well as seating on the outside. The staff are really great. The live band on Sunday brunch is really good too. Ive been here for dinner too. I love the steaks and seafood here. I cant wait to go back.
Amazing night life entertainment! Three different dance floors, one in a remodeled basement and two over a balcony, different DJs and live bands and great bar variety and VIP seating. Always have good music and lighting in the dance floor. Feels very safe with the great security provided.
The last I was here was for my wifes birthday party. We had a party of 15-16 that grew at the last minute. The staff jumped through hoops to accommodate us and help to make sure that her day was special. The tenders were fast with our drinks. Super friendly, professional, and fun. The food was as good as the service.
outstanding service and exceptional food quality. Unexpected find in Salinas, but an absolute 5 stars and must do. Chef is a gift!Went here on first night of our Honeymoon and could not have asked for a better evening of service and food. Disappointed by the missing music and dancing that was advertised on the web site, but still a beautiful restaurant and evening together.
Beautiful building with succulent food. Had a chèvre Airlines Chicken that was one of the best chicken I have ever eaten and for only $23 ! Really recommend it.
Love the Sunday brunch with live music on the patio and bottomless mimosas with fresh fruit and select juices. Wonderful buffet style brunch accompanied with a separate waffle and pick your ingredients omelet bar. This is the go to place for my family every Sunday. Great for groups. There is outdoor seating around firepits and heaters for the winter days. Highly recommend this place!
Stopped in for a spontaneous Sunday brunch because we heard live music (the Wharf Dogs). Great price for the brunch buffet, which had items like chicken and waffles, lox, fresh fruit and bread, etc.
Food as excellent had braised short ribs! Asparagus breaded appetizer best I have ever had, and chocolate mousse for dessert.
Pleasent atmosphere and helpful staff for our business meeting. Dinner was good and well prepared. A bit oily for my taste (olive oil drizzled over veggiesbut everyone else seemed to enjoy their meals.
Terrific breakfast in this great corner restaurant. Husband had the huevos rancheros, which he thought were delicious, though he missed having the chorizo that is commonly in the dish. He thought the coffee was good as well. I had the spicy sausage scram special.
The best of about half a dozen restaurants I went to in Salinas. Definitely wouldnt get 5 stars in a big city, but if you are from out of town looking for a solid spot, this is a good choice.
Beautiful place, but the food was subpar. No doubt the WORST pizza Ive ever had, the pasta was so so and the crab cakes werent very good either. Maybe it was just a bad night? (A Saturday)
We have not dined at Giorgios in quite awhile, but decided to give it another try this evening. What a surprise - the beet salad w/argula was excellent - the warm bread out of this world. I had salmon with wild rice, both were outstanding as were the btussel sprouts w/bacon.Also ordered oysters in the half shell. We had 2 excellent glasses of champagne and would highly recommend Giorgios once again. The interior is soooo lovely - hopefully Salinas can keep this gem.
I was super hesitant about this place, but since Patria closed early on two different days, Giorgios it was! So not disappointed. If you get the pre-dinner bread the oil and balsamic can be a bit much (ask for butter). They have wonderful appetizers and entrees as well. I loved both times that I went and Id definitely go back again. I hope they, asker successful and stay open with such a large space! PS the under lit bar is gorgeous!
Broken door handle and window, havent been fixed in weeks! No success in duplicating food items from: Tarpys and Patria. Sorry you cant hold a candle to either restaurants, exceptionally EXPERIENCED staff, or CLEAN ambience. Try DUSTING the counters and chair rails regularly.Always have to ask for bread, or water to be refilled. Servers are too young, but most of all ill trained.Georgios is a Management FAILURE!Food is good, but definitely lost the upscale Italian theme. What a shame.
Well, tough to only give two stars, but heres why:Interior: 5 stars. I will go back just to enjoy the ambiance and give the restaurant a second chance in 6 months if they are still in business. I loved the under-lighted onyx bar.I can see what they are trying to achieve there but:Wait Staff Professionalism: 0 (zerostars for knowledge of dishes and sauces and preparation methods. A very young and very polite person but knew absolutely nothing about what was being served (e.g. what the sauces were and various preparations and food namesand had not memorized a thing about the menu –thats the managements fault for allowing an untrained, inexperienced person to be a waiter on a weekend night in an establishment that is apparently trying (and failingto have a more "San Francisco" or metropolitan sophistication in Salinas. Come on guys, train your staff before you let them loose or pay for some "real" high quality wait-staff to handle the critical front line of your customer interface: Restaurant 101. Honestly, this would sink the place quickly if it was in Carmel and we give thanks we did not choose to drink wine that evening as any request for advice would have been too painful to sit through.Kitchen Staff and Surf & Turf $40+: Steak was ordered medium and was almost blood rare and crab-stuffed prawns were in the salamander to the point of blackening the top and had a dry and almost deep-fried flavor to them...likely Bubba Gumps does better.
