Vegan banquet, greatest variety of the menu, items were hard to choose from all looked delicious.

Can feel and taste the love poured into each and every dish. Am never disappointed when I dine here. Super cosy and relaxed atmosphere. Feels like you have been invited to a friends place for dinner.

This is a lovely, friendly vegetarian restaurant. It is only small, but that is one of its highlights. The courtyard was candlelit and also had a few string lights, making for a very intimate surrounds. Soft music was playing in the background. Inside was very casual, as you could sit on lounges as well as at tables.We were greeted with a warm smile, shown to a table and were given water. The menu wasnt large, but it was definitely interesting. I had the middle eastern platter, which was delicious with so many flavours. Generous meals, lovely smells and friendly hospitality. I highly recommend this place.I am not vegetarian, but I really enjoyed the meal as an alternative. A little hidden gem in Lismore.The name of the restaurant has a story of its own.The only negative was they dont have Eftpos, only bank transfer or cash.

Great food and atmosphere. The only criticism I would have is no ice buckets for your byo drinks.

Open for dinners only... so dont do what I did and go for a luncheon! Looked a little rustic, dont get too dressed up for this one!

Wonderful food, try any of the yummy curries or the delicious pakora vegetables.. for good value try the $30 a head banquet (need minimum of 4 people).. great staff with rustic, comfortable seating, inside and out.. highly recommended

I was going to eat here but they have some really weird views on their website that I am put off.

Lovely old place. The loud slamming door was annoying, the food well made though far too spicy and rich. One very young waitress was very helpful and charming, another almost surly. A little overpriced. Would i go back? Yes, i would like to see if it can be better on another night

Bloody good. Not in the main part of town but this was authentic stuff. A slight home cooked feel to the dishes, good portion size and served with a smile. Worth the effort

Friendly staff, wonderful food, cozy and casual decoration. The backwards would be the duration took to serve the food (at least an hour), amount of food was low for the price ($30/person), the tables outside were not convenience for sitting long because of mosquitoes and candles were not sufficient to see the food. I would definitely try again though.

Really tasty food and the banquet was good value. Service was a but disjointed and one of our group was having a GF alternative that needed to be chased up a few times. Otherwise it was great night and lovely atmosphere.

Amazingly warm and delicious experience. Highly recommend. Children friendly and the place you have to experience if a local or passing by. Will definitely be going back!

The food here is absolutely delicious. I haven’t found a better Dahl anywhere else, and left here very full and satisfied. The restaurant is BYO, and has both indoor and outdoor seating. The staff are very accommodating and lovely, I’ll be back!

Food was amazing and service was ok. But my only problem is that our meals came out in drips and drabs, as some got theres and some had to wait 20-30 minutes for theres.I had the AMAZON CROQUETTES if you like chilli with heat I would recommend it, was the perfect amount of heat for my liking.

The food was very very good, however i felt $30 for a Masala Dosa was a bit....expensive. And yes they do say "By donation...or suggested donation". Anyway worth a visit, exceptional flavours and no karma.

Delicious vegan food in a very relaxed atmosphere.Service is fantastic and the food is priced well for food size portions.Also they were fully booked but squeezed us in before one of the later bookings came. I called and said I would see what the other person thought and just rocked up, when we arrived they had saved us a spot even though they had had other people enquire.

Unique dining experience, great food and atmosphere... Ideal recommended cost per head $25...the corn fritters and guacamole are great!

Intimate and eclectic space with with delicious vegan food made by the warm and friendly staff. We couldnt finish our banquet so they wrapped a plate so we could take it home minimising waste! We enjoyed the food so much we bought the book with their secret recipes ha.

Put this place on your to do list. A Beautiful chilled atmosphere with candles at every table and lounges to add to homey feel. The food is incredible with local ingredients.

Brilliant food, always delicious and freakishly consistent in taste and presentation. The Alu kofta and felafel are my favorites but its a hard to go wrong with anything on the a menu. My favourite restaurant anywhere !

I love the tasty vego offerings at this unique eatery. Lots of yummy dishes to choose from. Downside is theres often a lengthy wait for the somewhat pricy dishes, hence my "okay" rating.

Opening hours of the restaurant are from 6.30 PM (DSTWednesday through to Saturday.As usual, we will be closed during the Christmas break after Saturday December 12 until late January 2016.

20000 cows is the best vegan restaurant in the northern rivers. amazing quality customer service and awesome atmosphere.

A true icon in Lismore. 20,000 Cows appears to feed the town. Lovely vegan food and terrific atmosphere. Bravo.
