This place has tons of food . Its two different restaurants in one. But they have a huge menu .Drinks were okay . Friendly service .

Great rooftop spot for a delicious dinner. You really get the ocean breeze in the evening. The QR menu is confusing; its for Il Trattoria and the tapas place next door as well as 1950, but apparently you can order off any of the three menus. We only ordered 1950 food, and it was really good. We loved the ceviche, and the arroz estilo campo was awesome. My husband got the surf and turf, and the steak was very tender, well seasoned and well cooked. Id eat here again.

Went for dinner and it was delicious excellent

Took 15 minutes for us to get service after being sat by the host. No big deal they apologized, our server was "having issues." Food took 30-45 minutes when the place was only 30-40% full. The food was pretty good. We refilled our own waters with water bottles because the server would disappear for 15 minutes at a time. Even the bus boy forgot about us after he saw our drinks were empty and he was going to get us some new ones. Waiting to sign the check right now and going on 5 minutes of waiting for a pen that has ink. Would expect it if it was a full house but it was less than half full and they have plenty of staff here it seems. :-/ The view was nice and great atmosphere but lacking on the service side of things.

Pretty solid food, great drinks. Recommend the China Doll cocktail, but the ceviche wasn’t good.

The pizzas are good and the staff is generally pretty good but their prices are ridiculous. Check was $175 for 4 pizzas, an appetizer and a few drinks!

I ordered the slow cooked pork ribs with sweet plantains as the side. The Sauce was very nice, the pork was so over cooked I had trouble chewing most of it. The plantain side was very good. The kitchen should be embarrassed for sending out that piece of meat. The service was pretty good also

The Vegan Pizza was as greasy as theyd come, with a few tomato chops and way too much garlic. The atmosphere was great and the service friendly as well. Maybe, this is the place if you are more meat eating I guess

Where can we start? The restaurant entrance is not opened and they have a sign that says to enter through the other door but no indications where that door is. We should have known this was a sign but to go there to eat after we saw nice pics online. We managed to ask the restaurant next door and turns out you have to go inside that restaurant to access a staircase to then arrive to the restaurant. We did enjoy cold beer and ok lemonades but the kitchen is extremely slow to the point that we were a group of 12 people and the food has taken more than 45 minutes to arrive. The restaurant is completely empty. Either they need more chefs or more staff.

Good was good, but buyer beware. The staff tried to slip a house salad with a side of steak as a steak entree AND a salad. They charged for both as first, which is CRAZY. Spoke with waitress and HAD to pay for steak meal ($35). Ended up biting the bullet, but thought people should know.

Amanda is a terrific waitress! Great couples outdoor dining if you want to connect and unwind. The Agave Margarita is one of the best!! The empanadas and plantains excellent! Spent several wonderful evening enjoying Margaritas and moscow mules!

I came here to eat with my family, my wife has a very serious allergy to onions. When our food arrived I tasted it for her and there were onions everywhere. I tried to call our server over who was too busy chatting with other servers to come address the issue. I asked if I could speak to the manager. The manager came by and said with very little regard that he was sorry for the inconvenience. I told him that I was a physician as well as my wife and that the allergy was actually deadly and that their mistake was potentially fatal. I said this as someone who used to be a server years ago and understands that food safety is important. I never raised my voice and the manager started yelling at me. I didn’t realize that the manager was the one who was too busy flirting with our waitress to allow her to come over to see us. It is clear to me that the manager of this establishment does not care about the safety of his patrons. He said “I don’t care about titles“. This was not about titles this was about a manager who does not care about the safety of the people who dine in his establishment. Furthermore this individual was aggressive and was trying to become physically confrontational. It’s clear he has an inferiority complex about his position in life. I cannot recommend this establishment until management realizes that the person who is running their establishment does not care about the safety of patrons.

I loved the beautiful breeze on the top balcony, the wonderful music and the service was incredible. I loved my pizza and mocktail, strawberry lemomade.

The pina colada was the worse I’ve ever had even compared to the US. It was watery & didn’t have much flavor (likely due to them using Coconut water as an ingredient).The cucumber lemonade drink was also watery with much of the cucumber flavor at the bottom of the glass like a green sludge. They should update & improve their drinks. Other places are much better.The chicken sausage was good but whatever yellow sauce it had also lacked flavor. I was very hungry, but the food & drinks are overpriced & underwhelming.They do have music late at night, but don’t get ripped off for subpar food & drinks here.

After reading some mediocre reviews I was hesitant but it was close and easy, and SO worth it. The croquettes and ceviche was the perfect combo that has me still drooling. Service was good, food was great and I’d go back in a heartbeat.

3* for food, 5* for service. Friendly and attentive. Kan kan pork chop was terribly overcooked, but the parts that werent were delicious. Country style rice was hearty, but but not as flavorful as I was hoping. Tostones inedible due to being overcooked. Nutella mousse was aces and the ceviche good, but not great- it certainly is a LARGE portion of one type of fish, but not varied types to my wifes disappointment. I think place would have benefited from bit more descriptive of a menu. For example, we later found out the "morcilla croquettes" were pork blood. Probably wouldnt have ordered if we knew that. Tasted sort of like mashed beans. Go with the serrano ham and manchego croquettes instead! The service was so good we had a good time and would try again.

Went for a drink, bar tenders were excellent and friendly. Drinks were amazing as well. Not sure how their food would be since they have 3 very different menus

We really enjoyed this restaurant and went back two more times for the food and delicious mojitos by Jensen! He is very creative and was happy to serve us his new ideas for the mojitos. One of my favorites was the cucumber mojito. Some of us enjoyed the coconut almond mojito and the mango. The staff was so nice and helpful with ordering. Always has a line outside.

Enticed by the beautiful rooftop, we hopped in line for 20 minutes on a Saturday night here to go to dinner. When they come to take is in, were seated downstairs instead. Waitress tells hostess to ask us to move tables, seats (2 of usat a 6 person table under the AC. We move back to our original table. Hostess asks us to move again "if we want," we decline. The waitress gets upset, ignores us for 10 minutes, finally comes over and asks us to move to another table and explains the plates are too big for that table. Understandable, fine, offers us a table that the hostess said we could not move to. We feel ignored, disrespected, and we arent even upstairs where the atmosphere is. Were wrapping up dinner and they turn the bar lights on, start stacking chairs, clearly kicking us out without saying anything. Alcohol was mediocre, food was mostly Italian on the menu despite the "authentic Puerto Rican cuisine" on the sign outside. Would not go here again.

Surf and Turf Mofongo with garlic sauce off the menu was unbelievable.Ask for Amanda she was sweet.

3 restaurants in one - in general, I think the food is fine, we have the Puerto Rican food - the steak we have is really good, the fried pork is a bit dry, while the special fried rice with 5 different kinds of meat is good, but it is a lot, so we have some to bring home

This place was amazing. Anybody who left less than a 5 star review is a Karen. The drinks were very tasty and not weak like a lot of places. We got the stuffed tostones and the surf and turf mofongo. I have never had mofongo that good in my life and I’m Puerto Rican. The waitress was very polite and attentive and the outside seatings were a plus too. I have nothing bad to say about this place. Don’t forget they have a hugggggeee selection of craft beers too.

As a local, I am very judgemental of any place that offers puerto rican cuisine, specially when they’re located in tourist-filled areas. Our food was delicious and the prices were good for the portions that are served, considering the location. The food tastes fresh and of good quality.Recomiendo el mamposteao al estilo campo con las costillas. Ordenamos “para 2” pero fácilmente la porción daba para 4.

Every single thing we ate was amazing, got salmon and it was perfectly cooked (which is hard to find nowadaysand a sampler platter which had all sorts of delicious items

The key lime pie was delicious. The empanadas werent very hot at but were decent. I guess my 3 stars.is more about price. Definitely pricey. But its touristy and I get that had I known that going in,. probably wouldnt have minded as much.

Came here the other night with high expectations as I seen a lot of people waiting outside to eat there. When we first got there we were brought upstairs and sat at a table which was very sticky. We asked the host to give us the booth instead and said no they would have to ask the supervisor and she wiped the table. When the waiter came we asked again to be moved since it was still sticky. He felt the table and moved us immediately. The other table felt less but it was still there (figured it could be the spray they use to clean the tables). We ordered the county style rice and a pizza with pesto and shrimp. The soda was flat and I refused to drink it. The country rice was nasty. Straight up tasted like a bucket of salt. The pizza was thin and alright. Not worth the price. Overall horrible experience. The next day I had explosive runs. If your looking for good dining experiences try Tijuana’s restaurant two blocks down. Awesome prices, food, and it’s CLEAN. The waiter we had at this restaurant was very nice and he tried his best to help.

If you are looking for some Puerto rican food, you gotta try this place! Sooo good! Try the sampler and the Arroz del campo with kan kan meat... Its just DELICIOUS! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😎😎❤️❤️❤️🇵🇷

Waited about 20 min for 3 people on a Saturday night. Its 3 restaurants in one basically, the wine bar and tapas, Italian, and Puerto Rican.Got the croquettes as an app, and then Hawaiian pizza

We tried the arroz estilo campo for two people with kan kan and we had leftovers for two more meals. The portions are huge. They were very up front that there was going to a wait for the food but it went by quick as the drinks came promptly.

Great place! Love that you can order from any of the 3 restaurants. The balcony upstairs is really cool and worth waiting on line for.

I’d say this is a good hot spot, for food and drinks. Location is convenient and at a rooftop. I enjoyed it the service was great. The only wierd part, is when we asked for ice cream, yet they said no ice cream. And then minutes later we saw them serve ice cream to another table. Not entirely sure what’s going on there.

This place was absolutely incredible! So incredible that my wife and I returned twice during our stay. Everything we ate was phenomenal. Very reasonably priced and has very cozy aesthetic. Highly recommend trying this place, as it has something for everyone!

Nice place. The pizza was very good. The server Alexandra did a great job taking care of us. We also ordered a cesar salad that was good.

We only had the mojitos, and they were AMAZING. The place is right opposite the San Juan Marriott. They dont have many vegetarian options, but there are a couple of restaurants downstairs that have plenty.

I had the porkchop Kan Kan. It comes with lots of fatty bits and crispy skin. The is a strong pork fat tate if you are into that youll probably love it but is just isnt for me. The sweet butter (maybe strawberrythat comes with it doesnt quite work. It is a nice location and the cocktails are good but I dont think they live up to what they set out to do.

We will be returning. Had the tuna appetizer, which was fantastic, as well as the special, which was a chimichurri steak with tombstones. Incredible flavors.Update; came back a week later for the same experience. Amazing again. Had the mofongo as an entree this time

Great rooftop, love the intimate setting. The food and drinks were enjoyable. The waiter was great! They are super friendly, and treat tourist with open arms. The only thing that I didnt like was where my friends and I sat. We literally had to use the flashlight on our cellphones to read the menu. It was so dark in our little corner. But it was still a great place.

The food was amazing and there was live music at the time. They had mojito on happy hours, try the mango and pina colada. Our waiter Lou was very hospitable and courteous.

Great area with fun atmosphere. The Kan Kan porkchop I got was great, the skirt steak with onions my husband got was just ok.Huge selection of drinks, with lots of choices of rum. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Great place to enjoy a rooftop dinner. The pina colada was tasty and the country arroz dish blew me away. Its a massive portion and the flavors were excellent (it says serves 2, but realistically serves 3-4). Only issue was service was very slow and there were only 2 other tables being served when we visited. Prices are standard for Condado aka overpriced, but not unreasonable.

My husband and I, here on our honeymoon, came to 1950 twice. Both times we had the server Nicole who was phenomenal. Her recommendations were spot on. I really enjoyed the country rice dish and it was one of the tastiest things Ive ever had. This is was our first taste of Puerto Rican cuisine and we were not disappointed! Nicole, if you read this, you were awesome!

Good food, friendly staff. Drinks were slow due to a large party but once they served them they bounced back. I had the ceviche which came with plantains and my wife had the citrus chicken with mamposteao rice, both were flavorful. We had croquettes which started the dinner off nicely as well. Towards the end the bartender recommended the Puerto Rico beer Oceans blonde and it was delicious! Satisfied and full.

Food was super good. Not too too pricey. Nice atmosphere. Overlooks make street.
