1907 Restaurant, Bar & Grill in Lokwabe

A great ambiance for dinner. We stayed at the hotel and had an inclusive dinner package. Whilst certain dishes come with a supplement, there is still a decent selection from the menu. Food was very tasty. The quality of the breakfast was also very good. Would love to come back again.

Had a great afternoon tea before our spa treatment. All the food was lovely. We were served by Joanna, who was so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us to make our experience special! Highly recommend this place for a treat.

We visited after having a track experience with Mercedes World next door for my husbands birthday. Very nicely cooked food. We had octopus, goats cheese, steak and pork chop both served with chunky chips and salad and we were too full for dessert! The pork chop was outstanding!The restaurant is in a hotel, and the view is of the car park, which was disappointing. I was hoping it was on a higher floor with a view over the race track next door.Staff were friendly and efficient, the bar area was fabulous with lots of choices of spirits and wines. The Virgin Mojito was delicious!Seems a very nice restaurant for the hotel guests, maybe not for a special occasion. The staff did give us a lovely table though and decorated a plate with a mini dessert which was very kind.

Really wonderful service, super tasty food with a good couple vegan options aswell! Definitely a good place to be if you’re looking for a nice celebration meal out.

Website allows bookings at 21:45. Made booking for 09/06/2022 at 21:45, which was accepted by their page. Arrived to the restaurant and a very disrespectful waiter at the entrance was telling us kitchen was closed, without further excuses or apologies and blatantly disregarding the booking confirmation I had. Completely ruined a night out with my wife. Would not come back. Recommend to avoid. Waiters do not know how to treat customers respectfully.

But only at the night at the bar, not the breakfast hours.The bartender was kind and suggest was great too.I only could have packs of crisps but still, the drink was good.They have amazing IPA and other local beer on tap. I highly recommend the bar.

Was greeted and welcomed so well,customer service was beyond excellent. But extremely disappointed with the afternoon tea selection for what I paid for. Expected variety of sandwiches at least, only got cucumber and cheese&pickle which didnt even get eaten as least favourite...scones were fresh and other cakes were ok, tea was cold...left feeling so so disappointed as felt couldnt make mothers day special :(

Extremeley disappointing experience.4 of us went for Mothers Day Afternoon, greeted warmly, once seated @ table were asked to confirm any alergies , I confirmed my (cheesealergy and the server confirmed my afternoon tea wouldnt contain any cheese items, and she also confirmed tea & coffee refills could be had just to ask ! !When the afternoon tea arrived , it contained 4 sandwich fingers containing cheese ! ! ! which was very annoying as my allergy had been confirmed , tried getting a servers attention which proved to be almost impossible , so I just gave the offfeding sandwich fingers to my other guests. That being said ALL of the sandwiches had very little filling it seemed like the filling had been put in then scrapped off again...The scones were lovley & warm and served with Jam & Lemon curd , the lemon curd was gorgeous ... Mid way through eating we needed more tea & coffee .... it took us over 15 mins to manage to get the attention of servers, mainly de to the fact of the bad position of our table & the fact that there were very few servers on duty ! ! We eventually managed to order and then waited almost as long for it to arrive.... eventually left all very underwhelmed , and in agreement that our experience didnt live up to expectations or costs ! ! Had been wanting to try this place for a while , now really wish we hadnt

Lovely decor with very stylish nods to the car racing and aircraft history of Brooklands.A nice wind down bar and restaurant for me after a hard day at the office.The @brooklands_hotel is also great for it conference facilities , spa days and overnight stays

Great food and service. Restaurant looked great. Only marked down for gluten free options were largely gone.

Bar and grill was a lovely place we had a 23 course meal dinner was lovely and breakfast was lovely a variety to choose from including cereals and selection of orange and apple juice and a really good cooked breakfast

Incredibly bland fish and fried chicken. The green beans tasted like they were from a can.

Great service staff was very tentative, food was great didnt take long to arrive and desert was also good would be 5 stars if the prices where slightly lower and the menu was more varied

Not much variety food wise but overall was nice

Had dinner there last night the food was absolutely fantastic especially the steaks and soup of the day but the service not that much. We had to wait 45mins for a Cocktail and we were told it takes upto 20minutes to make a Cocktail...one cocktail. but please dont let that deter you the place the fantastic money well spent but definitely to up their game on the service.

Great restaurant, food so fresh, lovely and hot, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They whole family found something that they could eat and enjoy. Well done!

Nice lunch, and breakfast at the restaurant.Good veg options.Lunch service was very hygenic with wipe down with anti viral spray between seatings.Breakfast was slightly concerning as table still had crumbs, but hostess was very polite and moved us when this was pointed out.Pricing towards the higher end for meals etc.

This is our 2nd time at this hotel and restaurant... lets say second time lucky, the food is alway amazing and the see staff is very welcoming definitely recommend this place

Lovely dinner. Could not fault. Sharing bread a bit pricey but food was top notch and staff very friendly and attentive.

Excellent food - Taste and presentation over quantity. Goats cheese & beetroot salad, fish & chips and tuna salad were exceptional! Great selection of wine too.

Most disappointing.Booked as part of a (wonderfulspa package that I would highly recommend! Ordered a burger which would seem natural in a bar and grill. It tasted terrible, super dense. We didn’t eat the main. The restaurant manager couldn’t care less. Tried to fight back re cooking rules but completely missed the point. It was not nice. At all. We didn’t eat out dinner. Then he persisted to say food and drinks are different departments and that despite a horrific meal he can’t helpwith anything. I feel cheated. I spent 250 to treat my partner. Had an awful meal, rude manager, ended on a sour note. Came back really annoyed and my partner had stomach ache all night and then he threw up. We’re still up now as he’s constantly being ill.

We stayed overnight and had the 3 course meal and breakfast package.We throughly enjoyed our experience in the restaurant the social distancing is well organised. The staff were all friendly and professional. The food was delicious we were totally full.Our breakfast was delicious plenty to eat and service fantastic.We definitely recommend this hotel and restaurant.

Really pretty restaurant, feels like an american type higher end place. Cocktails are very good and they serve champagne at exactly the right temperature.Food i felt was a tiny bit hit and miss, but very good overall. Crayfish boullabaisse and duck liver starter were the highlight. Octopus and prawn main could have been amazing... but the frozen prawns sort of stopped it from being what it could have been. Otherwise the octopus was damn good. Pork belly delicious too. Cajun fries not really cajun, but now im just being pedantic.Lemon parfait was meh. Belgian waffle was reallllly good.Will definitely go back but maybe avoid the frozen prawns!Staff very attentive and friendly

If you are vegetarian do not go to this grill. Very disappointing. The menu is extremely limited and Very overpriced. My husband bought $25 burger. It was the oddest and most disappointing burger I have ever had. The overpriced quinoa salad I ordered totally lacked any flavor. I do not think the chef puts any efforts in making a vegetarian meal. It felt like a very lazy chef meal.The only good thing was the service.

3 of us went here today for the first time for afternoon tea...quite disappointing, sandwiches were all bread and no filling, also very boring ! So uninspiring, could do better I feel for such an upmarket hotel. Also my smoked salmon had a hard bit in it !The scones were however quite nice, but the rest of the cakes were sickly sweet and so many ! My suggestion is, pay more attention to nicer quality sandwiches and thinner bread !

Staff were very friendly and helpful but food left both my wife and I feeling ill for the rest of the evening. Very expensive for what we received.

Great atmosphere and staff. Food took close to 1.5-2h to prepare but we were a big party of 20+ people. Most of the menu is average (ie burger and duck), however the more exquisite dishes such as the charred octopus and the lamb for two people is acceptable considering the price.

If I could leave 0 stars I would.Food was terrible, I’ve had better burgers from McDonald’s.Burger came out cold, chips are very cheap, meat is cheap and overall standard is awful. Very Over priced for disgusting food. Would never eat here again.

Really disappointing lunch here today. Massively overpriced (£18 for a small chicken burger). Three of our starters came incomplete, part of a dessert had a flapjack which was stale and rock hard. Service inattentive. The menu is very limited and Im not quite sure what this restaurant is trying to be. The prices are high end but the food and service is incredibly basic.We also chose to sit outside with a drink before lunch as the sun was shining. Turned out the seats were all wet which we didnt realise until we had wet backsides as the sponge seat cushions had absorbed all the water! Manager said area wasnt open despite people sitting there. If an area is not open - then surely just close it off?!

Very average service, expensive (£32.50 ribeye steak with no sides and £12 for a cocktailbut all quite average quality. Also, went on a Saturday night and the restaurant was half full and lacked atmosphere. its not at the level the hotel thinks its at.

Nice atmosphere and very well presented food. Possibly a little over priced, especially the steaks, but tasty nonetheless

Looks very decadent but food and service is sadly bang average.The staff are very pleasant, however I received a starter that wasnt mine, I wasnt charged for a drink and then promptly was.....and after I left most of my main I was asked if everything was ok......I replied that it wasnt very good (frankly the fish smelt off and the chips hard like they were both from frozen), and the staff member went about his business regardless.Not what you would expect from the demanding prices, perhaps the isolation of the location is being played, who knows.Utterly underwhelming considering the effort that has gone into making it look the part, all substance and no quality unfortunately.If you stay in the lovely rooms of the hotel, invest in a taxi to Weybridge to eat, the total price would inevitably be cheaper with meals created with greater efficacy.

I actually didnt know what to expect from 1907 as I havent been stayed in the hotel before or even stepped foot in the restaurant either. The ambience and atmosphere was a little quiet when we arrived early evening for a meal on Sunday but thinking outside the box. The atmosphere will be very good when it is busy. The waitresses and waiters were helpful with our drinks and attentive. Furthermore I love the decor, being an aviation based area. The bar has some fantastic chrome propellers in the centre of the room which is very eye catching.Concentrating on the restaurant now, the host sat us down. He also took our order and as we had a gift voucher which included certain courses, the host quickly found out exactly what we could have included in the cost. Shortly after the waiter took our order and the starters came within a reasonable time frame. The restaurant was busier than the bar but service was still very good.The starter and main course were excellent. The dessert too was nothing short of fantastic and I was extremely surprised as to how good it was and also well presented the food was. The evening was great and it would be a great location to eat before or after your experience at Mercedes-Benz World or even for Brooklands Museum. If you are lucky enough to stay here, the facilities look good and the hotel rooms also look very nice. I would recommend a visit or a stay whichever you fancy.

Absolutely gorgeous, food was superb, service was excellent. Cannot recommend enough, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening and as a birthday celebration was made to feel extra special.

Very nice hotel restaurant. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Unfortunately for us service very slow and one order got misplaced. Plus, when outside, you have to be comfortable with the sound of screeching tyres and revving engines from the Mercedes driving centre across the road. It is not very loud but audible.

Absolutely awful, portions extremely small and quality the food is not very good, they use far to much salt.Avoid the carrot cake which is a block of doing with nasty orange "stuff" on the top - looks like a Mr Kipling sponge slice - £6.95 for nothing sent it back.I will definitely not be eating here again and I would definitely not recommend it.Theres a perfectly good beef eater right down the road - well worth the detour.AVOID

Booked this as a birthday meal for my husband. We arrived and the bar staff looked at us and ignored us... We stood in the entrance for around 15 minutes before being greeted by our waiter. Our waiter was fantastic. He was efficient, friendly and helpful and he managed to completely change our opinion from our initial thoughts when we walked in. Our meals were OK, not amazing, bit bland... But ok. Happy with our waiters service but probably wont be visiting again
