Omg what a night great food and the service wow ! JP our server wasSimply amazing ! The food was mouth watering and 5 star
Amazing food, even better service. Highly recommended for romantic evening
first day back after the pandemic, amazing food and great service. have to try the Tomahawk. the mushroom, scallops are so fresh and sweet. staff john was so helpful. great night with families in 1900. will nack again again
Its good, but pretty expensive for what it offers. It should have a wider food selection.
Fantastic food and very accommodating staff
We visited this restaurant over the weekend. First off, the music was excellent, a lady played the piano and sang beautifully. The food was nice but the service was incredibly slow. Wasnt a particularly busy night either. This was a review of a visit in January.
Very impressive customer service, great food, great atmosphere , really recommend it .
Ordered the lamb skewers to start and fillet of steak for main. One of the nicest meals Ive ever had. The sauce with the skewers was so tasty.Presentation was A1 and the waiter (Deniswas good craic. Cant praise highly enough. Will be back again for sure.
Delicious food, attentive and friendly service. Can recommend the lamb skewers, the salmon and the creme brulee. Great location as well if youre staying at the Iveagh Gardens Hotel.
Service is second to none. Food really lovely. Very comfortable place to eat at the moment
We picked this restaurant as the first to visit for dinner after lockdown as all my friends recommended it. Was a perfect choice, since the moment we entered the door the staff gave us a really warm welcoming. The food is delicious and drinks are amazing. I would recommend to book in advance.
We had a great diner at this restaurant. The service was perfect and the food so good. We really had a good time and a very good diner.
Always a pleasure.Staff are amazing - in particular one member of management who remembers you by name, by order and by drink.Tomahawk Tuesdays are brilliant!
Its great but not perfect. The atmosphere is nice, waiters are friendly and attentive, the food presentation is very pleasant and the food is quite good.My only real problem was that, especially the meat, felt a bit uninspired for the price. It was good meat (we had both a steak and the pork belly), it tasted good, but it wasnt anything special. The dishes wouldnt need much improvement for 5 stars, but there certainly is still some air.Overall, lovely restaurant.
My husband found this restaurant on open table due to the great reviews and I have to agree, it is such a great restaurant with a lovely atmosphere and delicious food. JeanPaul our waiter was very attentive, the live music was by a girl with the most beautiful voice playing the piano and the manager/owner was so friendly. Thanks so much for a lovely night!
Had the pleasure of visiting the 1900 restaurant on harcourt street last month and what could I say. It was an experience, one that I will definitely be venturing into again. To start with, we were met by the restaurant manager Kevin, really great guy who made us feel very welcome as we arrived. He showed us to our seat and introduced us to our server Denis who was brilliant. He went out of his way for us. We had a 3 course meal that was very cheap and delicious. The food was outstanding and the atmosphere was very relaxing and stress free, unlike a lot of other places Ive visited were you seem to be rushed through your meal and nearly pushed out the door. While we were eating our food there was a girl playing some great music on a piano, she has a beautiful voice. This is a really great place to have a meal, great staff, great food and great music. Overall an experience that shouldnt be missed.
Amazing experience there. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. Had a really nice Malbec on the recommendation of the staff. A tad pricey but worth it for the amazing time there.
Much better than I expected. The food was top notch. Staff were lovely.
Visited this restaurant when the place we wanted was booked out didnt know what to expect as had always thought it was a bar when passing... Looks can be ver deceptive as I discovered! Fabulous restaurant with friendly attentive staff and the menu though a limited one for Christmas was full of great choices... Two of us were eating and we were absolutely delighted with our beautifully presented and very tasty dishes. Great wines and the waiter recommended a lovely one to accompany my risotto. We loved it so much we returned a week later (by choice this time 😘with my daughter before a concert in the NCH and had another fantastic meal and again staff so attentive and friendly. Highly recommend and its very close to the NCH
Very good. A little expensive but really good
Fantastic food, one of the best steaks of had in years. Atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were great too. Overall a great night and Id be happy to go back.
Very nice quaint restaurant serving tasty food. Staff are very friendly and attentive.
Beautiful food and very attentive staff.
Excellent food , a hidden gem. Denis made our night with his friendly but professional manner
Excellent food, great service. Wasnt overly busy which was noce for an evening meal. Presentation and taste were both 5 out of 5.
Nice restaurant, good service, good food, good menu, limited wine options, reasonably priced. Would definitely go back!
Service was great, very welcoming. Food was delicious, I had the seabass, it was delicious.
Great food. I was a bit sceptical to followed the Tripadvisors recommendation on my 2nd day in the new area in Dublin after the so-and-so experience on the previous night - but this was so much different Ina posititive way. Special thanks to my new friend Frank (Ferenc?from Budapest for great service on his 2nd day in the new job
Cannot get over this place amazing!!! Kevin went above and beyond for us highly recommended
Nice little fine dining restaurant off Harcourt. Quiet and soft lighting ambience makes it a relaxing meetup for dinner. The lamb roast was nice. Good service and unique cocktails.
Food is simply outstanding!Great ambience with soft music, nice decoration and, the most important, really tasty food.Staff is very welcoming and attentive.Starter, main and desert were excellent. The steak was perfect, one of the bests Ive eaten in Dublin (better than FX Buckley, I might say). My compliments to the chef and his team!Definitely will go back soon
Fabulous food last night. The wait staff, particularly the Italian guy were great. Attentive, just the right amount of table touch etc.Really enjoyed it, will definitely be back.
Staff are amazing. Food is good. Music is waaay too loud for lunchtime!
- I was there with work for a dinner event. We got the menu the day before. It looked incredible. I was a happy boy. I had picked already what I was going to order. When we got to the venue, we found out the menus was different. 2 of my favourite things that I was going to order were not on the menu. Reason given was that Lamb is too expensive this time of the year. Surly they knew this the day before. No reason for other changes. All they said its that we were given a sample menu. I must say I was very disappointed. I would understand if we got the menu 1 week or more before but not a day.- service was very good. Fast, well presented and very welcoming. Staff were on the spot.- the food I ended up ordering was nice. Well made and well presented. The portions were nice. Not big but not small.- the environment was warm, welcoming and enough space. They could look at a little up beat music.Over all, I would go again but I would not trust the menu I am shown before hand.
top class service food was great and waiters were so attentive and welcoming definitely recommend
Perfect place for parties. Decorations by loveatfirstsight.ie
The food was amazing. Compliments to the chef and his/her team. Service was excellant. Looking forward to returning soon.
Had a very nice ad-hoc dinner here (took all 3 courses). Good service and great food.
A really nice location with a mix of couple, friends and even after work business types present.Staff where terrific, nice menu options tooFood was really enjoyable, bigger portions than I had expected, and very much enjoyed the wild mushroom risotto.
We had been given a voucher as a present to eat here. Our table wasnt ready when we arrived so we were put next door in an empty bar. 15 mins later still no sign of being seated so my husband tried to go back into restaurant but both doors into it locked. The barman was no help and just shrugged. Finally when we WERE seated and handed menus I told the waitress we had vouchers (which I had informed them when bookingshe reached over without saying a word and removed menus and handed us different menus. Quite a small choice but we all decided on burgers as we are not vegetarian or a lover of fish. The food was actually nice and we did enjoy it. The one thing thought is that they have live music playing and it is very very loud so not the best place if you want pleasant dinner conversation.
Good portion sizes for a lunch menu. Bill came to €70 for 1 course each for 4 people, 2 had drinks, 2 had tap water.
First of all, service was great, friendly and very accommodating. As a starter I had pork belly with scallops. Scallops were bang on, nothing to complain here. The pork belly though had a surprisingly cured taste, which I personally think didnt go particularly way with the BBQ sauce. My main issue was with the venison shank. Quite bland, no real flavoring to it whatsoever. It was served with (I thinkplums, which made the whole dish a bit dry. Just expected something else I think.Id say give the place a shot, because it might just not be my particular taste. The menu is great, loads of huntsman like cuisine, the venison wasnt my cup of tea though.
Really mediocre. Food was good--not great--and does not match the expectations set by the price. Not a great wine list or beer selection. Printed menus with TripAdvisor advertising are tacky and show that this is targeted to tourists from nearby hotels.
Wonderful food and fine wine. Great service. Will be back. Steak was so good.
I loved the restaurant. Great service, great food reasonable prices.
Amazing Amazing Amazing!!!The food is absolutely delicious. The starters were so good we almost forgot about our steak. One of the best rest Ive ever been to.Ave the service is amazing as well, great talk with the server.Decent prices for a high end place!
Really enjoyed my meal at 1900. Great service, lovely staff. Got a couple of very tasty FREE entrées as well.
Service was warm and friendly and the food was outstanding! Worth every penny.
This restaurant was wonderful. They service was excellent. The food was scrumptious. I had the most delicious Carrot and Coriander soup that i have ever had. My sister has a milk allergy and informed the staff. Most places she has difficulty finding a dish that she can have. At the 1900 they accommodated her allergy wonderfully and provided her substitutions to all the of items that contained milk. 10/10 would recommend. I plan to go again the next time I am in Dublin.
Excellent food, great service and nice interieur.
