16-Bit Bar + Arcade - Video arcade in Dublin, United States
Perfect spot for happy hours with co-workers… when folks keep talking about work after hours you can distract them by challenging them to a game.
Cool place to hang out and have a few drinks. Relaxed atmosphere.
Came here for the first time from Canada and loved it! Unique, fun, generous drinks for a great price. Good variety of games that were free to play if you were drinking with the exception of the pinball machines. We had a great afternoon there!
If I need a dose of nostalgia, I come here to play all my favorite Super Nintendo and Nintendo 64 games. They also have the classics like Dig Dug and Pac Man. Highly recommend it for date night after dinner at Little Palace. The drink specials are hilarious, and Jaime and Nick will be sure give you good recommendations!
Amazing bar with an awesome atmosphere. Love the experience I had here with Jaimie behind the bar. She made our drinks perfect and is a lovely person to talk with. 10/10 would recommend the bar again. And Jaimie.
Love the atmosphere overall. Jaimie Vargo always brings a pleasant vibe both behind the bar and while managing. Would recommend any day of the week
So many good retro arcade games and tasty cocktails. Shelbea and the crew are there to take care of your thirst needs while you fill up on nostalgia so stop in soon!
Great games and greater drinks. The vibe is very relaxed and low key. Staff always makes you feel like family. And for the best service be sure to ask for shelbea. Youll feel right at home and I guarantee it.
Popped in on a Sunday afternoon. It wasn’t crowded but still a fun environment. The arcade games are from the 80’s and 90’s and were all working when we were there. They’re on free play except for the pin ball machines which require quarters. They offer non alcoholic beverages as well as cocktails and beer.
Cool place to chill. Drinks were well made. Many drinks.
Cute bar, lots of games, all free to play if you get a drink. Drinks are great and have fun names and come with some sweet thing. There got an n64, super Nintendo, and Sega console for play even! I tried the Betty boop, the princess peach, and the Lisa frank and all were delicious! Pictured are the Lisa frank in the back and princess peach in the front.
My cousin brought me and its sooooo cool. A couple well priced drinks and unlimited awesome gaming.
Took my daughter and her God son to get out of the house and we loved it!! At first he was overwhelmed (being that he is only 3but he loved every game he touched. We plan on coming back for an adult night out. I see playing some Mario cart in the future...lol.
A bit smaller than I imagined it would be but a really nice atmosphere. Staff were really friendly and the drinks were excellent. I went shortly after they opened so it wasn’t super busy.
It’s not quite as cool as it was 5 years ago, but it’s still a lot of fun. Have some drinks, play some games, chill out. Good times
Really cool place. Drinks were creative and the games were free. Definitely not your average arcade!
Meet up with some friends I hadnt seen in a long time and had a great time. The drinks are cheaper than I thought they would be for a place in Easton. Tremendous place to just relax and have fun playing old video games. Very much a trip down memory lane.
As someone who does not drink, I absolutely love this bar. I first visited years ago when I was in town for a wedding and I was happy to see that they are still in business! They have an awesome selection of old games, including and N64 and an old Playstation. You could seriously come here every night for a year and have a different experience every time. My only complain is that they need to fix the joystick on Galaga machine - but Im sure they already know that ;-)If you are a resident of Columbus or just passing through like we were, you must visit this place. Its easy to get to from both the Short North and German village so you have no excuses! This would also be a fun first date idea...
Had a great time! Arcades are full functioning with no charge. Drink service was fast and courteous. Would stop again.
I would say the games make this bar go from a 3 to a 4, along with the kind staff. In my personal opinion the bar isnt really that crazy, but it is good with a bigger group. Worth a stop if youre in the area and want to get some drinks with friends.
Just had the most amazing night there with Jamie working and Jill on bar, some other patrons got into a verbal fight and the staff handled it extremely well and still took such great care of us. We will definitely be recommending to our friends and will be coming back soon!
21+ in the evening, not too crowded on weekdays that Ive been here. They do well keeping the games functioning and provide a good variety of game cabinets and consoles.
The drinks are so fun and the games are (mostlyfree to play. Would 100% recommend
A cool "Barcade" in a convenient location. As long as you buy drinks you play all the arcade games you want for free. Which is really cool. And its right next to Mikeys late night slice. Pizza and beer is a great duo.
Cool spot to visit from time to time. Good drink options for everyone. We come often over the past several years because my fiancé and I like Buck Hunter. The game hasn’t worked right for years. We still give it a shot and hope of one of these times it works well! Luckily they have other games but nothing in there compares.
Went to the arcade on a Tuesday night with my boyfriend we had a good experience until we went to the bar for another drink. the bartenders Approach when asked for patron first stated “ it’s a little pricey” . After ignoring her comment she then noticed me with my cup that I had brought from home but upon entry the doorman checked my id and let myself and my boyfriend in with our own personal cups. She said in a very rude tone “you can throw the cups away or you can get” out mind you this was our first warning and there is no signs with no outside drinks. My boyfriend and I were not only asked to leave but we were escorted out After we had voluntarily thrown our cups away that we brought in. A completely unsatisfactory experience and I hope that they coach and train were necessary.
I love this place! An absolute must visit any time you visit Columbus. Staff is friendly, great variety of games (including an N64 you can ask for different cartridges for), and very close to everything in downtown CBus. Great hot dog place next door for a late night snack!
Awesome place! Arcade games but also big screen tvs with old gaming systems set up. We played Nintendo 64, it was great! Drinks were amazing as well.
This bar is super cool. All you have to do is buy a drink and then you can play unlimited arcade games. It was around 11 pm and it was not too crowded. They have tables with game systems on the big screen TVs too. It’s loud and the energy is positive. The street parking was fine. Definitely an adult crowd in comparison to the 16-Bit Bar+Arcade in Dublin.
I was in when my classmates met here for a pre-reunion gathering because I loved arcades back in the day. But when I got there and found out the games were free?! I might have to stop here every night after work! Plus the staff were sweet, the place was clean and they have a great selection of drinks! Love it. New fav place.
We came for the pinball, but stayed for the N64! Our bartender Al kept us on our toes, but the drinks were fantastic.
Ive actually been here twice but its always such a fun experience. We went tonight and it was not packed like it was the last time so we were able to play smash bros on the Nintendo. They have a lot of games to choose from and some behind the bar. I got the game over (which comes with a free glass& and a hulk Hogan which comes with a popsicle in it, everyone I was with was so excited just to be there. Always a good time ❤️
Had so much fun here and surprised at how good the drinks were. I can’t wait to come back here a second time!
Great place to hang out! I like drinking and playing in the arcade area. I try to visit every time I come to town, my favorite drink is “Kevin Bacon”, it’s just delicious! Bartenders are friendly.
This is the original location! If you want a little slice of history, this 16 bit arcade is not connected to a duckpin bowling location. It’s about six blocks away, an easy walk. They offer all sorts of drinks and the best collection of arcade games out of any of the Pinz locations in Columbus.
On a mini trip/weekend getaway from Indianapolis...cool little chill spot for after dinner drinks and arcade games. The games were free to play. Chill environment...fun and friendly bartenders! Try The Dude and The Game Over drinks! The Game Over has 8 liquors😁 and comes in a clear tumbler that you get to keep! Mine is empty because I forgot to take a before picture!😂 It does not disappoint! The liquor hits you "later"!🤪
Very cool place, games were free when friends and I arrived after 10pm. Winnie Cooper drink was AWESOME.
Alcohol and arcade machines....What more do you need to know? Theres no food here, but I have seen some people bring in stuff from the area. Many arcade machines and cool old systems such as the Nintendo 64. Also some pinball machines in the back of youre into that kinda stuff. Must be 21 or over to come in as you do get checked on Entry.
Retro Modern vibe. AMAZING drink options. Great craft beer selections. Among the video arcades they have, they also have pin ball and a couple monitors to play video games on console. You can drink and play for free.. They do have an ATM machine available and coin changer machine.
Pretty solid beer selection and friendly staff. Two main areas lined with Arcade cabinets, of which 90% are of the 8/16bit variety. Small numbers of more modern (think early 90s3D games sprinkled about. Was slightly disappointed by the amount of selection, given the size of the structure, was expecting slightly more games. Still a very fun time.
An excellent selection of beer, booze and games. Had a great time here. The no food part was a bummer, but since they allow food from trucks outside to be brought inside, this isnt a huge issue.
Absolutely incredible happy hour specials! And some really creative and unique cocktails you arent going to find anywhere else. And the best part.. video games to play while you drink them!!
Just visited for the first after an out door music festival. Good prices which was surprising considering its downtown Columbus. Super awesome selection of beer and mix drinks. If you’re and old school video game nerd you will fall in love with the place as it’s loaded with classic games! Sometimes you’ll even meet famous people too! John Campbell from lamb of god happened to drop by, so I bought him some drinks. And remember... don’t drink and drive!
Came after Margarita Fest and absolutely loved the bar and atmosphere. Cocktails were a little pricey, but delicious nonetheless. Will definitely come back if in the area!
This place is fabulous! First of all, Shay knows her bourbon and is happy to pour one for you! Plenty of video games at no charge! There are pinball games as well that are quarter driven games. Angels Envy Rye available!
I love going here when I get the chance. They have awesome drink and immensely fun arcade games. The staff is also really friendly and helps perpetuate the fun environment that you get here. If you ever get a chance, I highly recommend stopping in here and playing some games.
I had a great time here and went back for round 2 during my trip there. Its just as it sounds like, a video arcade with bar. They have classic arcade games like dig dug, centipede, qbert, terminator 2, operation wolf, TMNT Turtles in Time, Xmen, and a few pinball machines that I can remember but if say there is maybe 50 cabinets total plus I saw an N64 on a tv. Drinks have great themes and there are plenty of beers on tap. Only wish they had some food...but next door is a late night pizza place and they will let you bring it in.Love it...will be back next year when Im back for the Arnold Expo.
Fun bar with no cover plus the games are free! Being free means it will usually be packed at night, so most of the good games will be taken. It will also be crowded to the point where you bump into everybody playing a game. Its a fun concept with some pretty good games and drinks.
One of my all time favorite hangouts. Awesome staff, free arcade games and 50 cents pinball! Plus fun drinks and one of the longest craft beer lists in town if you don’t mind a can. 10000/10.
Neat place! Lots of variety in arcade cabinets that are in really good shape. Themed drink menu made me smile and huge offering of beers on tap or in bottles/cans. Staff is super cool too!
