Stylish hotel restaurant offering classic American fare, an extensive drinks menu & sports on TV.
Good food, great service. $25 for a steak and 2 sides. $12 for a lemon drop. The service was great. The food was okay. It was fresh but not hot. The mashed potatoes and greens had good flavor. The Marriott is in a prime location and the service was amazing. I wish the food was hotter and tasted a little better. I had a late dinner at the bar.
Good
Exelente food and services
In these times of slipping service, over-worked employees trying to cover twice to three times as many patrons as in pre-Covid times… our table of seven received exemplary service. Another server noticed that we weren’t able to get everything we wanted from their buffet (they had run out…); that went to the back, found more, prepared it, and brought it to us! Next level….Great breakfast experience… walked in with low expectations but left raving about the service.
Friendly staff. Excellent watermelon salad.
Our group had a nice dinner and good service here. One of our party requested a vegan dish, though sadly it came back with cheese, even after being sent back. Ultimately they did the right thing and comped a free vegan meal. Our server was very friendly and chatty, and apologetic over the gaffe.
The salad was good, the egg rolls were good...the Servers needed more help.
Breakfast buffet was awesome!
Excellent food and service.
The flat bread appetizer and lamb as an entrée were wonderful.
While staying at the Philadelphia Marriott I had the opportunity to enjoy both breakfast and lunch at this lovely restaurant. Food selections were great and deliciously prepared and presented. Most impressive to me was the attentiveness of the wait staff - smiling, gracious and anxious to please.
This food is not good.
The bartenders are rude. They will do their best to ignore you. It seems the only person in there with manners is Ed. Thanks for your hospitality Ed is worth 5 stars, but the second time on my trip being blatantly ignored by staff showed me that the first time wasnt a mistake.
The philly cheese steak was chopped up fajita meat. It was disgusting and cold. Waste of money. 🤬
We came to this place for a meeting. my friend recommended this spot. Well, it was a winning. The staff welcomed us with a smile and we had a fantastic feeling. The food was just great. We had a great time and we will visit this place again. we highly recommend this place.
Food was bad got the burger and ordered it medium rare came out as a well done and the pasta was cold waited for forever to get our food and seating. Would not recommend the time waste nor money waste. Go literally anywhere else seriously
The food was good & the service was even better.
Very good food. Staff very friendly. Enjoyed breakfast buffet. Delicious food.
If i could i would give 105.Awesome service the waiters are so nice, mikel served a great guy.I ordered the burger and it was a awesome dish. The drinks are also not too expensive and very generoua.
Nice place. Staff was friendly.
Very expensive for at best ok food. Just get something from the 7/11 across the street
The food is very good. Quick service and very friendly.
This is the most money we have ever paid for the worst meal we have ever had. The service was surly, the kitchen very slow for a 20% full restaurant, the food so salty it was almost inedible, and the supposed rare steak was medium and tough. The 2 mussel appetizer orders arrived 20 minutes apart. In conclusion the bill arrived not finalized but already signed and charged. We eat out often, have rarely complained and are excellent tippers. This restaurant deserves minus stars. We are bringing this to the attention of Marriott because they need to know it is not up to Marriott standards.
First time eating here for a co-workers birthday lunch. The burger I had was okay - a bit overpriced for what it was though - the highlight of the burger were the Sriracha-infused smoked bacon strips. The potato wedges on the side were good and crispy too.
Conveniently located in the hotel. Very reasonably priced! Friendly wait staff! Nice spot for a quiet dinner.
Okay, Ill give one really great tip about this restaurant - their signature burger!!!It is incredible, and possibly the best burger Ive ever had. Order medium the first time I visited, and it was well done 2"+ patty, but it was still very, very good. So, good that I came back 2 days later for another burger, this time cooked perfect medium - and it was a WOW experience. I was staying nearby the Marriot, but I ate here 2 more nights it was that good of a burger! Its not cheap, it will cost you $20 with tip, but it is amazing, and you feel so good afterwards - it was so satisfying! It comes with their own made sweet-spicy sriracha bacon that is the best bacon ever.Do not try anything else, just this burger and you will be very pleased! A coworker was there his 3rd time getting their special cheeseburger which didnt have the bacon - he was loving it too. In fact, during my 4 visits for a burger there, I saw other folks repeat on their burger as well; I knew many people in town for a convention.
Delicious food in a beautiful setting with spectacular views overlooking downtown Philadelphia.
Usual higher level hotel restaurant. Friendly staff.
They seated me before the restaurant was officially open and I had my food in no time. The staff, service, and food were awesome.
The food was ok and overpriced!
Expensive, but what do you expect for a hotel restaurant. Crab soup was tasteless; dont get it. Woman next to me got the Thai soup and said it was delicious. Scallops were good but wasnt a fan of the smashed lentils and cauliflower (not cooked enough), that came with it.
Pricey but nicey
Decent menu. Service was a tad slow.
Food is pretty good,a bit pricey
The food is sub par. They are running around like chickens with their heads cut off. The ultimate no no happened when they charged my account someone else’s meal. Went to the manager on duty and all he could say was sorry. Never again go across the street to other restaurants not worth it
Had breakfast there and the food was very good and so was the service.
Food is just not good. Dinner companion had NY steak. Cooked properly however poor grade of meat, it was tough and chewy. Tomato bisque was too sweet for my taste. Pretzels appeared to be frozen sticks and unsalted served with COLD cheese. Disappointed. Wont return.
Simple bar off of the hotel lobby
Really delicious food at all hours. Late night service was horrible, even for late night. The drink I had was also horrible when prepared late at night, but delicious when ordered in the early evening. Id go again in case this was a one-off problem, but only when I have the energy to wait indefinitely.
Its alright. I didnt have anything other than breakfast there, could have been worse, could have been better.
Good food located in the Marriott. Great service as well.
Pretty good food. Staff is awesome
Very nice fine dining experience.
Not sure what the deal was but I was visiting with my son in this hotel and I just wanted food to take back to our room and they hassled me about my son not being able to did at the bar while I order our food. I get that part but they don’t have a waiting area for to go orders. They weren’t very understanding about me not leaving my son by himself.
The service here is excellent. The staff are courteous, friendly and helpful. The food is pricey but thats expected of a hotel restaurant. I had the turkey sandwich with side salad. The sourdough bread was very good and complemented the other ingredients and the seasoned turkey and bacon. Delicious!
Pains me to say this about a hotel restaurant but 13 was exceptional. Thw 13 Burger was top 5 burger Ive ever had. Asked for medium rare and it was perfect. The wasabi candied bacon was incredoble and the large slice of heirloom tomato was perfectly ripe. Yes the burger cost $19 but i honestly think it was worth it. It really was that good.
Very good food and service
We stayed at the Marriott (beautiful hoteland ate at 13 for breakfast. It was a buffet, $20 per person. Extremely overpriced given that the food was like that of a college dining hall. The bagels were small and stale, the cereal choice was bleak, the coffee was too dark, etc. While I would certainly stay at the Marriott again, we will not be eating at 13.
The food here is very good. Fresh tasting, and well presented. Went here during lunch and had a great service experience. If you are in the area I recommend that you try this place out.
Limited menu. Overpriced. They only serve water or alcohol to drink.
