Hunan restaurant serves foods not spicy at all. The degree of spices depends on the chefs. Unlike traditional Hunan restaurant, it’s a modern chain restaurant that no specialty at all. The service is so so that you don’t feel any hospitality. All the reactions are stereotypes and standard.

very delicious fish head and sweet sour fish.. most dishes here are tasty. highly recommended.. usually this 1010 stores is crowded need to make reservations during weekdays and holidays..

The food served at this location is okay but not as good as the level demonstrated at the Xin Dian location.What I consider a signature dish of this chain ”Fish Head (覇王魚頭）” was overcooked.The flesh in another famed dish "Fried Spare Ribs (孜然排骨）” was too dry.The spiced egg and thinly sliced pork, respectively, were mediocre.

Always yummy food, like how the dishes come out staggered in a perfectly timely fashion.

Very good Chinese restaurant. I think it is Hunan style but I am no expert. So many goood dish but definitely must try their ribs!! Prices are good too. The quality match well with the price.

Flavorful. This is hot stuff and the flavors pack a punch. We had a few of the dishes family style. The fish with local spices was a knockout. The skewered shrimp was also fantastic.

Terrible food and costly

Despite being a chain restaurant, consistent and good Taiwanese interpretations of the spicy Hunanese cuisine. Fast and friendly service, only negative is the menu is quite limited and I can only recall one substantial change in the last decade or so

If you like spicy food, youll really like this place. Lamb runs were excellent too.

Nice chain restaurant featuring food from xian. Very heavy seasoning that you found amazing for the rich taste within one plate but found out later that you can’t really consume all the plate up. And it’s for all dishes except for the sweet taro which is the only dish that can release you from the spices. So you’ve got to take care of the portion carefully not just being attracted by it’s menu and order too much. Generally recommended for those looking for decent food and not weary of spices.

Delicious food. Great for small or larger groups. Environment is nice clean and comfortable. Service is very attentive and friendly. Prices is quite affordable. Personally really like the sour chicken and ginger dish.

I must say this is not authentic Hunan dishes that I had previously. Most dishes are overly processed with flavors which is something Im not quite familiar with when it comes to hunan dishes. I personally think this is more of a Sichuan style. However, table lemonade drinks are amazing. by the way they messed up our orders so they served halfway to come ask us what do we want for dessert. Then we waited 20 minutes more for the rest of the dishes to be served.

fast service, english menus and some staff even speaks english. clean. good taste. set menu for a group of 5-6 is very good, set C + a la cart shrimp skewers is a good combo

Be prepared for exciting dishes that offered exciting variety tastes that makes you want to eat more. The pork ribs glittered with interesting spices are juicy and taste out of this world!!! The shrimps on sticks are a little spicy and the shell can be eaten without peeling.

I eat at 1010 every time I visit Taipei. Everything Ive tested has been delicious, especially the house speciality, the spicy fish head. And the spice is no joke here. Even the cabbage is deliciously spicy!

Ive been coming to this restaurant for almost 10 years now and the quality of their product (food and environmenthasnt slipped one bit during this time. The environment is very kid friendly, but most of the dishes are spicy so parents will probably need to take this into consideration.
