In a cozy wood building across the street from the Uji River, this informal hot spring inn dating from 1937 is a minute's walk from Kangetsukyo train station and 12 minutes' walk from the Gekkeikan Okura Sake Museum.Understated rooms with shared or en suite bathrooms provide flat-screen TVs, minifridges and teamaking equipment; most feature tatami floors, futons and traditional short-legged tables.
