Mid-century dormitory for government employees, now home to a craft market & entrepreneurial hub.
Super crowded!!! Hard to move around. Stuff they sale their is similar to other creative park. But with lot more variety. Nice place, but way too many people to be able to enjoy.
Vibrant but sometimes too many people and area quite small. Some nice stores around that you can check. Also walking distance from fine arts museum, so can go there once finished strolling around.
Chill
Great
Lovely small place to see with lots of independent artists and creative design products! We strolled around for an hour and left as it was getting crowded in the afternoon—chilled atmosphere :)
Theres tons of stuff to do and good restaurants and shops too.
Lots of small unique shops and delicious snacks!
Had fun here ;))
Great for pictures and sampling the variety of stalls and shops. Older architecture with renewed innovative designs. Daughters love this place. Snapped tons of pictures.
So hot
A selfie stuck is a must when visiting this place. There are surprises at each and every corner and the food is heavenly. My favorite is the puff store. There are plenty of street vendors selling mostly artistic merchandise, home made drink and pastries. This place is a crowd magnet, so expect both heavy foot and vehicle traffic.
A quite cultural and creative market. People who like small design cute goods will like here very much. Lots of shops and friendly shop owner here make visitor comfortable during shopping and walking around.
Old civil servants Little city, think is nice.
Easy to navigate around
Ok
Maybe overrated? It’s nice, lots of cute shops, tonnes of people, nothing standout. Spent 30 minutes or so wandering round then got bored so we left.
a small bazaar in taiwan, there are a lot of things to buy and eat, it is a good place for overseas travelers
not bad
Too crowded and very hard to keep social distance during holidays. There are a lot of cute street vendors but didnt have chance to take a look. The street sticky rice tastes good.
The old community has been subtly changed and renovated into a living space for todays young people.
Tiny place, good for teens only.
Nice
Good
Good for shopping with good view
Nice place with a lot of vitality and wide variety of food and shop to spend an afternoon.
It was super packed over the weekend. It wasnt for me especially during covid times!
Crowded but ok
Love it
A small cultural and creative village which is suitable for a walk or date.At here, you can buy lots of creative little things, have some special food or snacks, and take lots of cute pictures. The area was rearranged, so it’s also allowed to go upstairs to watch the whole village and take some pictures too. Come here on weekends if you still don’t know where to go, friends.
Completely packed on the weekend, couldnt take photos of anything because there were people everywhere, couldnt walk properly because youd just get blocked by someone in front of you. Maybe try going on a weekday.
A good place to kill 30 mins
My second time to go, there are several artists and handmade shops, it’s a very nice place to take pictures and shop around
Good place!
We’ve gotta get more spots like this
It used to be a dorm for employees of the Audit Department of the Taiwan Provincial Government. After the Taiwan Provincial Government was streamlined in 1998, it became an idle space and wasted for many years. In recent years, the Taichung City Government re-planed and transformed it into an entrepreneurial base and cultural & creative park. There are many bus routes, which means you can get there conveniently. The stalls in the market sell hand-made snacks. It delivers the human touch and warms your heart. Also, it is popular to take some pictures in front of the old houses. It is just like you are traveling back in time.
Surely a leisurely place to stroll and relax
A historical placenow full of restaurant, workshop & handmade store most are run by young entrepreneur.Holiday markets here, many handmade goods and food sell with reasonable price.

This place used to be the dorm of old government workers. Now it turns into a good tourist spot, and you can enjoy your casual afternoon or family time here without spending money,
