Really good place to sit or for sports practice or even for jogging. In evening there is rush. Mainly people go there for hangout, playing cricket badminton Or any sports. Nowadays there is open theatre. And right now people are there for book fair.Sometimes you can even find Disneyland.

Free for all with huge playing spaces, sitting, recreation, small gym and plant that provide shade during hot weather. The place is circumscribed by a plethora of options for an array of activities. The Pride of Patna for a valid reason.

Its pretty well maintained with lot of greenery around. A lot of commercial establishments and good hotels are around this place. Also theres a famous old book market near Gate no. 6. Bus stand is nearby and so youll find a lot of Street foods as well, though not the best from hygiene pov.Overall, a good visit.

It was said[who?] that a leader had not arrived until he had addressed a rally at the Patna Lawns.JP Movement, the successful opposition movement to Indira Gandhi, was also launched from this historic ground.Presently, this ground is used for private parties, mass prayers and trade fairs. The flag-raising ceremony on the Indian Independence Day and Republic Day is held here by the Chief Minister and Governor of Bihar respectively. In the north western corner lies the Gandhi Sangrahalaya, which showcases various pictures and records of Mahatma Gandhis presence and connections with Bihar. During 1947, it was the house of the Education Minister, Dr. Syed Mahmud. These grounds are situated near Ashok Rajpath in Moradpur and are 2.5 km from central Patna.[2]During his Bihar visit at the time of Champaran Satyagraha, Mahatma Gandhi addressed a huge meeting at Patna Lawns. That meeting was the first time Indians were allowed to visit Patna Lawn without any restrictions. Until then, entry was restricted to Europeans and the elite (Loyalist Indians).The historic Patna Lawn was renamed Gandhi Maidan in 1948 after his assassination as a tribute. A statue of Gandhi was erected in 1990s near the southern end.

Good place but there is very untidy ground. All over garbage throwned nobody care about it they have to clean daily because there is lots of people visit daily. And this is also very good place to excercise, running, playing, walking, Training,

Very big ground to play and run.... trees are planted sideways. And sitting chairs are also available...there are multiple gates to enter or exit. There is no fees to enter. You can easily spent enough time upto 9 pm.

Gandhi Maidan is very large Maidan, I think it is the biggest Maidan of India, which is well maintained. It is located infront of Patna Town. Many of the Pilgrims and Politicians gathering here to play there speech. It is also the place where the all berojgar gather here to past there time. It is marvelous and all...in this thousands of huge trees which make it very pleasant...

Daamn ghe field was big and also very beautiful. Inside the field theres a big Mahatma Gandhi statue. I really liked this place. Best time to vist ...either in the morning or evening.

Gandhi maidan is situated in patna near ganga river. This is a big field open area . A huge statue of Gandhi ji situated in this ground. Whole ground sounded by road. Very busy traffic and rush you can face there in evening time. Near by maidan shopping complex ,movie hall, restaurant and many more things available there. You can spent there your time. With family and friends.

This is Patnas well known place in terms of its location. You can explore almost all known place of Patna because of its location importance. Its connectivity with all the major roads of Patna makes it unique. You will find all the known food outlets,movie theatre,Street foods here. This is a large ground sourended by walls , it is spread in 65 acres, During British time,under British rule it was used as a Golf course and horse riding place,Right now you can visit there by free,You can do exercise,play cricket,football, badminton,kabbadi etc.you can do yoga in morning time,In south of it there is a tallest building of patna called Visckoman bahawn,In west There is Golghar.

Place is really good for morning & evening walk.Many boys are playing cricket in maidan area, if someone wants to play cricket here its also possible..Some seating chairs are available for enjoying the fresh air.

spended almost 5 years in Patna and this was our best evening spot ,either for gossip or for cricket and it is best place for couple to spent some peaceful time😁.........

A great place to spend your evening, there is so much happening in the place, someone is jogging, some people are long jumping, high jumping, couples are chilling, old people are gossiping, it has a large volume, easy to reach, has 10-12 entry gates. No pass or fee required.

An awesome ground in patna, where u can run, play, or relax. Its outer running track is almost 1.3 mile in a loop. Patnas young army aspirants run, practice here. There is a M.Ghandi statue around which there is a saprate park. Public convenience available there But it is also not mainten good, firstly public have to stop littering there and patna public shouldnt pee-poop anywhere. And people should also not to take there pets to poop there at least on mid of running track. I saw one cause of which Im mentioning here.

This is a large ground frequented by people from the locality, as well as tourists. It has a track made for joggers all around and health enthusiasts are a great patron of this place. From time to time events that need open air or large spaces, are organized at this place.

Also being not very far from MMC Patna, this place is one of our favourite go to places for chilling out with endless gossiping sessions.

It is spread across 60 acres of land.On 27 October 2013, there were six serial bomb blasts at Gandhi Maidan just before the BJPs prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi reached there to address a huge gathering. Eight people were killed and 66 injured in the serial blasts.This is a big ground with 12 gates for entry and exit. We used to have a walk for the outer ring of this place staying in Lemon tree Premier hotel. Pollution is too high during day time.Gandhi maidan is famous place in patna. Located near to Ganga river. Well maintained and cleaned place. Good to visit with family.

If you come to patna... Its worth visiting Gandhi maidan once (preferably in the evening). You can sit and enjoy the view with someone or can just jog a mile. It has loosely made running tracks too. Stay alert if cricket is being played ( balls may come to you 😅)

Best place in Patna for relaxing with natural , it is a larger than any other park or ground. You will find 10 gates but only 5 of them will be open regular. So used only odd no. Gates for entrance because many time you will get odd gates which were open..
