Worst soundproofing hotel. People try to walk you up so bad no matter how many times you change your room. How can the workers not know? I hope I can get my refund. We got so many days left, literally don’t know what to do! Pls do not stay here if you hate getting up early by stupid noises.

Convenience and in good location!

The hotel is around 5-10 mins walk from the Jiantan subway station and Shilin Night Market. There are a few things to eat and a pharmacy around the block. So the location is quite good.The room is not super-large but spacious enough. The toilet is especially large though. We especially asked for the room with panda bath tub and we got it. Our kid loves the tub.The staff is also nice and helpful. The restaurant in the basement requires a bit of ventilation but it didnt bother me.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The room was light and well furnished. Snacks and drinks in the room were complementary which was really appreciated. The bathroom had a bath and a shower, both kept very clean and in good condition. The included breakfast was really nice with a good selection of both Western and local styles. To top it off the receptionists and other staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again. Thanks!

Very enjoyable stay. Breakfast is also excellent. Normally, we grew tired of having the same breakfast for 2 days in a row. But I enjoy our breakfast here for 3 days! Recommend it for the price. Very value rich.

We had a great stay in this hotel. The room is so clean and comfy. The location of the hotel is good and quiet. It’s 5 mins walk to MRT station and around 7 mins walk to Shillin night market. There’s a lot of yummy food in the restaurants around the area. Staff are very kind, helpful and accommodating. Breakfast is excellent. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. Looking forward to be here again😉

I checked in late but fast service, the representative are friendly & helpful. I stayed in a four persons room for two nights, the room is great & comfortable, spacious bathroom with bathtub. Breakfast were good. The location is great, near to Shilin night marke & LRT station. Convenient store & restaurants in walking distance. Also have a nice garden with playground located opposite of the hotel., worth for the money.

Place is quiet. Next to family mart grocery and 7 Eleven which is open 24 hours. Walking distant to Shilin Market. Actually all the hotel staff are very helpful and friendly. Highly recommendable. Clean Hotel.

The room is worth the price. Is quite spacious, its clean, and the breakfast is decent. Walking distance from Shihlin night market. Things to notes are the room looks a bit old and the breakfast is so-so. The receptionist can only understand basic English. But overall its great.

Clean rooms. But quite old and you need to walk at least a mile to get to the mrt station. Limited selection on the breakfast buffet.

The hotel room where I stay is well priced. You get your money’s worth. I like the big shower area with a bath tub.The ladies at the concierge should be more warm and must smile a lot. They seem to lack empathy and seem not to care.

My single room on the second floor was very comfortable. I had a shower and a bathtub, which is what I think the "spa" is listed in the amenities. There is a public pool with a waterside just one block away. I didnt use the laundry service and didnt see a bag or anything in the room. There were outlets that allowed me to avoid using my adapter for my phone charger - there were USB plugs in the wall. There were several channels of TV available in English, including CNN and HBO. Theres no channel guide, just explore. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of traditional and Western foods. Theres a coffee maker that makes only fresh Americanos so you might get a couple of refills if you want US sized ounces. I would recommend this hotel. Its also really close to the metro, a 24 hour grocery store (Well come), 7-Eleven and another convenience store. FYI the metro is cash only unless you are getting a card of some sort. Staff at the hotel and really everyone I encountered in Taipei were very nice and polite.

The location is close to Jiantan Stationb and next to many restaurants, shops, park, museum etc. The breakfast has a variety of eastern and western food. The room has useful amenities.

good hotelnear night market, easy acess to Tamsui and Taipei main station.To Subway takes just 5 minutes by walk.Especially, Breakfast is very good.I will return this hotel again.

I do not recommend this hotel to anyone, 4 nights I stay there received multiple flea/mosquito bites, the morning I was getting ready to check out, the front desk woman named Pamela Lee screaming hysterically through the phone "you got to check out! You got to check out!" She has no class and undertrained, when I confront her she didnt show any apologetic sign and suggest me to report a complaint. Yes I will ! I will not refer this lame hotel to any of my friends n collegues.

Breakfast is as an international standart, deligeous, staffs have good english and so friendly!

#708, bathroom is placed just right side of front door. I was shocked because there is no bathroom at first.Be sure to check the backside of door.

Comfy room with good space for friends

"Starbeauty Resort Hotel" was great. It is located within a 5 minute walk from Jiantan MRT station and shares an intersection with a Subway and Familymart convenient store. It is also within walking distance (7-8 minto Shilin night market. My room was large and well maintained. The bathroom was also a decent size with a tub deep enough for me (64to take a bath in. This hotel has a free buffet breakfast every morning which features mostly asian-style food. One thing that bothered me a little was that room cleaning came at unpredictable times day to day. For example, one morning the cleaning lady came to my room at 9 am, but another day I returned at 1 pm and my room hadnt been cleaned yet. I think, perhaps, I was the only foreigner staying here but this was not an issue.

I liked this place. Got a room with a single and double bed for 3 (corner room on the fifth floorthe double can fit three people if you really wanted to. The staffs are really courteous they were helpful and were genuine (we were helped by 2 gentlemen in the late night shift). The only downside during this trip was the intermittent WiFi connection. Maybe our room was further away from the WiFi access point. The breakfast buffet was a plus of youre up for it. Typical breakfast, nothing too great. This was walking distance to the metro as well as the Shilin night market which was really convenient. Taxi fare costs approximately over 1000NT our taxi driver was kind and charged us 1000NT when we called him to picked us up on our return flight.There is a 24hour family mart that is conveniently located right across from the hotel as well. The late night shift guy that works there was really nice and genuine as well.

Very servicable hotel, and very conveniently located for the Shilin Night Market as well as the Jiantan station, for access to the city as well as buses to the National Palace Museum and other attractions. The breakfast isnt great.

We loved staying here!We stayed here for a week and had freshly made, hot, breakfast every morning. They had Western and Eastern style breakfast buffet and even a SAECO barista!Mind you, this is not a pod machine where it is freeze dried beans or evaporated milk. Its fresh beans ground, pressed, extracted and pumped into a latte, cappucino, or americano for you at the touch of ONE button!I love Taipei, they had these machines everywhere! Look out, mean baristas, someones taking over your jobs! :)
